Damn, Cavs staying relevant. They got younger, more athletic, better defensively, and more cap friendly.
By IWMTB19 Go To PostWhy was Crowder so bad in Cleveland, is he washed up or was that just a bad fit?His shooting regressed to normal and his defense fell off a cliff.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostCavs did really well and still have the Nets pick.
Lakers fans on realgm seem to love the deal–must not have given a single fuk about Nance and Clarkson
Fuck those Laker fans on realGM

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostCavs did really well and still have the Nets pick. They are all convinced LeBron and PG are coming here next year. Of course they love the trade because this "CONFIRMS" that we are getting them next year.

I want to puke.
By s y Go To PostWhats Olshey doing?Nothing and I'm pissed about it. I just tweeted that I don't want to hear that ET/Moe/Meyers aren't tradable after what the Cavs did today.

I'm pretty meh on both but like, I wish we would have stuck with the 2019 plan and let it ride another year.

By KingGondo Go To PostIt's also undeniably pretty funny that Love is still there.
Man's been in trade rumors for all 4 years, too.

Hate to see JC and Nance go but we are/were log jammed at the 4. Our scouting department has been killing it these past few years and the 24th pick gives them a chance to find another decent prospect.
The quality of this deal will depend on what Magic does this and next summer.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostIs IT only worth the MLE nowThe MLE is more than what he makes today so... lol
By Kabro Go To PostI dont get that move by Utah. They don't want to pay Rodney Hood and they'll slot Crowder into those minutes.
Rose is a has been.
By reilo Go To Postwow lmaoThey had to do it. The Cavs had no PGs who were long or athletic left. You can't play playoff teams with midget PGs unless you have another God-tier defensive 2/3. I've been saying Thomas had to go, I didn't think they had the balls to do it.
IT2 already gone from the Cavs. What the shit.
Plus... IT had been angry with the Cavs/LeBron/Ty Lue over the last 2 weeks.
Rose won't play in Utah. That's purely a make the money work deal.
I'm happy with the Jazz deal. Joe Johnson wanted out, even though he was a solid contributor. Hood was going to get overpaid by someone at the end of the year and leave anyway. I think Snyder will be able to use Crowder way better than Lue did. I don't know that it makes Utah much better, but at least we didn't get fleeced like the Lakers did.

If I was the Lakers, i'll it ride at least a year or 2.
Wow Cavs completely remade their team in one hour. Lebron has taking worse squads to the Finals; he can do it again.

By reilo Go To PostWait, Wade got traded??
For a SECOND round pick.
The disrespek is real.
Pat Riley got his way at the end of the day. Goddamn.
This is one of the best NBA shakeups...ever?
I still don't see the Cavs beating the Celtics or the Raptors, honestly. Unless the Raptors go full shook again that is.
The biggest detriment is Lue, he is a fucking terrible coach and I don't expect him to be able to implement any of the new players into the fold in any meaningful way before the playoffs start.

I like the memes about the Lakers getting LeBron when the Lakers now have two players on their roster (Lonzo Ball and Brandon Ingram) and both of those guys are years away.
Oh, I forgot about Kyle Kuzma... Who is also a rookie.

They also have Isaiah Thomas's bird rights.
I think Isaiah will build his value back up as a first option assuming Lonzo goes to the bench or remains out for a while. He just wasn't fitting well with LeBron dominating the ball and couldn't play out of his funk that way.

I hope beyond all hope IT isn't our first option. I have no clue how we even work him into the fold. He's the antithesis to Lonzo's style of play and the style of play we've been hammering home recently. Over this last 15 game stretch we've been sharing the ball well too. Fuck BI was (2) rebounds off from a trip doub like two games ago as the point forward. If he comes off the bench as the Clarkson replacement we're at least subbing a hog for a hog.
“Well, I mean I’m happy here,” George said. “I’m happy here. I’m happy with this group. At the end of the season, it’s still on my decision on what I need to do for my family. That has nothing to do with my happiness here though. I’ve been really happy. It’s a great organization to be a part of, but again, you know, I don’t want people looking at this and (saying) like, ‘Hey, because he said it’s his happiness at the end of the day (that he’s definitely re-signing)."
