By jjasper Go To Postwait so did the cavs get Rodney hood and george hill?
Yeah, the Kings traded George Hill for Iso Joe and Shump.
Full deal:
Jazz get:
Crowder
Rose (likely to be waived)
Kings get:
Joe Johnson
Shumpert
Cavs get:
Rodney Hood
George Hill
Well... the Cavs certainly swung for the fences. They got better but this far from guarantees that Bron will stay.

Wow, the Cavs did some work today. Impressive, tbh.
It totally ruined the super valuable pick* we got from them though.

By Randolph Freelander Go To PostRecap. Who's left from the 2016 championship?Love
Bron, JR, Tristan, ???
We'll see if George Hill has something left... His per possession stats in Sacramento were good, but he never used any possessions and barely played which was really strange.

Of course. That's it, right?
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI don't understand why the Kings did that. Are they in the tax?No, they suck and don't want to pay George Hill $20M a year the next two years when they need to play Fox.
Which really begs the question of why they signed him in the first place, but I can't speak to how basketball jazz happens.

George Hill was barely playing in Sacramento for some reason and his usage was down dramatically and he was extremely upset at the team.
I really don't know why Hill's usage and minutes per game were so low in Sacramento... As I didn't watch much of them.

By Randolph Freelander Go To PostOf course. That's it, right?Probably. They kept the core other than Kyrie, but that's a huge omission. They still need a #2 option offensively.
By Randolph Freelander Go To PostTell me Cavs are getting Winslow.
They traded Wade for nothing as a favor to him as Hood was going to get all of his minutes.
By Omzz Go To PostBron is so damn gone lmao

By Dark PhaZe Go To PostI don't understand why the Kings did that. Are they in the tax?Hill (and Jameer) both were not about that mentoring young player life.
By Doomsayer Go To PostYo, there is supreme fuckery going on right nowNothing quite like the trade deadline in the NBA, maybe the off season or free agency

By domino Go To PostBron is so damn gone lmaoHonestly, I'd be more surprised than ever if he left. The Cavaliers just traded for a bunch of long term money and young players they'll have to sign long term here soon and got a lot better in the process. This is a commitment to LeBron if anything.
By Kibner Go To PostHill (and Jameer) both were not about that mentoring young player life.
Yeah, Hill should have probably thought about that before he went for the money only.
Well, I guess it worked out in the end for him.
Cavs did really well and still have the Nets pick.
Lakers fans on realgm seem to love the deal--must not have given a single fuk about Nance and Clarkson
