By rodeoclown Go To PostI did not realize how many terrible teams there were in the league this year. There's eight teams within two games of that top lottery spot. The Knicks are going to have run off a streak of losing like 16 of 18 to get within striking distance.I always said Knicks are too good to tank, and needed a injury to KP/THardJr./Kanter trade for it to happen. Well, they got one and possibly 2 if Hardaway is diagnosed with an aggravation to the stress reaction to his leg that sat him 2 months.
PG: Jarrett Jack
SG: Courtney Lee
SF: Lance Thomas
PF: Michael "Tank Commander" Beasley
C: Enes Kanter
Bench:
Trey Burke
Doug McDermott
Frank Ntilikina (who really should be shut down for a few weeks)
Kyle O'Quinn
Damyean Dotson
Johnny O'Bryant
Joakim Noah
Like... the team will play hard but yikes, that's a "impending 10 game losing streak" LU of I ever saw one. GM Scott Perry is still trying hard to deal Noah, Kanter and Lee as we type.
By domino Go To Postis this hernangomez dude any good?
"Hernangomez, 23, had fallen out of the Knicks’ rotation this season, playing in just 25 of the team’s 54 games and averaging 4.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 9.2 minutes."
Yeah, he's great.
More moves more picks. If we win another game I'mma be heated...
Hernangomez is a good player on offense and can probably get better. Even if he never manages to be a defender he'll make a petty good bench big.
What is a Johnny O'bryant?

He costs about 20 cent a year tho.

Kanter is better on o and only somewhat worse on d so he was always gonna take those minutes. And Hernangomez isn't the kinda player you sub in to spell a starting Kanter so they went for a defensive backup in Oquinn.
Yeah, he's great.
By reilo Go To Post"somewhat worse on D" lol aightWhat are you even saying? They're both bad defenders Kanter was somewhat worse. Definitely worse but not enough to offset his better offence. I don't know what's lol worthy.
Apparently Jamal Crawford is unhappy about his minutes.
Dude turns 38 in a couple weeks, is shooting 42/33, doesn't play defense, has horrible on/off splits, and wants to complain to reporters about his minutes.

1. Can't crack Knicks rotation.
2. Going to a team pretty much batting .000 on developing bigs.
I dunno man, this particular glass might be half empty.
The Suns having the 4th and 8th picks and coming away with Bender (sucks) and Chriss (about to get dealt after a year and a half) is ugly. How does their GM still have a job?
By livefromkyoto Go To Post1. Can't crack Knicks rotation.Y'know Kanter and O'Quinn have played pretty well and there's this 7'3 guy who wasn't bad either...

Again, Kanter is a better scorer/rebounder. KOQ is a better defender/passer. KP played both spots. He had no spot because it was thought Kanter or O'Quinn would be traded, not anyone's fault just a numbers game. It sucks for Willy because he's not going to see much time behind Williams, Howard, and Kaminsky either.
I'm not saying Willy would smang the league in 2 years. But he did have talent and his comp internationally was poor man's Pau Gasol.
I really enjoy PG and Buckets both going hard after the title of "Best not-a-freak-of-nature wing in the NBA"

A 7'1 guy shooting .380 from 3?
Chriss ... i ranted about on the previous page. He's just supremely lazy.
By DY_nasty Go To PostBrown is way better lol
Ingram is Kaminsky-good with higher usage and a organization determined to build around him
I expect trolling from Giri, not from you.
Brown: 14.1 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.6 apg, 13 PER, .553 TS%
Ingram: 15.9 ppg, 4.0 rpg, 2.1 apg, 13 PER, .521 TS%
They're basically identical aside from marginally better shooting from Brown, and he benefits from being on a good team with actual floor spacing and shit and not being the #1 option. I could see a "slightly better" argument maybe, though IMO Ingram's ceiling is clearly higher as Brown is more than a year older.

Bender a nice developing young piece. Chriss on the other hand is some shit. He will be more shit if he goes to the Lakers and get his shit together.

Brown shoot is WAY better than Ingram. He is also a WAY better defender even with low BBIQ.

But Butler just does everything. He's super well-rounded. His shooting has really ticked up the last couple weeks and I don't know how you guard him when he's able to hit 3s at a good clip.

You realize you just made the same argument for your #4 pick that I would have made for my #2 pick that you psy and DY were trying to troll last night? lol Like fucking verbatim, including the fact that he grew two inches over the last year himself and is now a 6'11 wing. Ingram's on a better path of upward trajectory, including Brown's trajectory. Definitely including a 4 year older Frank the thank who's no better now than when he entered the league two and a half years ago.
Well, Giri had the intention to troll, you just sort of jumped on his coattails in agreement. Then DY took the stupidity to an 11

Ingram is averaging 5.4 rpg and 3.4 assists this year, just throwing that out there.
@PSY - I wish the Lakers had players the caliber of Kyrie or Horford (lol) on the team, they make Brown's job a lot easier. I will say, I thought Brown was pretty bad last year but he's impressed me this year. His defense is really good and he's hitting the 3 at a pretty good rate. He's going to be a pretty good player for a pretty long time.

PG is lowkey shooting 43% from 3 this year. On the whole I'd probably take Buckets right now because he shoots more free throws, but that also seems to suggest PG's game will age better over time.
Wild to me that 2 guys who averages 22/5/4 a night might not even crack the top 10 if everybody's healthy.

Well a few are saying its likely what the market would dictate this offseason with so few buyers, Lou might’ve secured a payday that wouldnt be there in free agency. So we’ll see.

Ingram is currently a fuckton better than Bender. The best part about you using this argument for Bender, is that it invalidates your opinion of TJ too. Dude has (2) more years in the league and (4) more years of age and only started hitting 20PPG this year. At his 3rd year he was only averaging 14.

Then I remember what Westbrook plays like in the playoffs and that he'll have a USG rate of somewhere near 50%.
When the Wolves play the Thunder, they put Butler on Westbrook because Jeff Teague.
Also, I want absolutely nothing to do with Oklahoma City in the playoffs. The games were basically a tossup every time they played. Weird stuff could happen and we could be out in five games or something.
