By Dark PhaZe Go To Postand the result against the warriors will be 6 games max6? Draymond missing a game due to tech suspension or something?
we lose against dynastic warriors, lebron coming to htown next year
we win against dynastic warriors and ultimately a chip, ive got all these receipts saved, and reilo might think SLAENT is being DDOS'd. yall thought the jazz post game the other night was something?
i win either way

By Smokey Go To Postdidn't even get back in the game breh
can you imagine if your girl and kids were in attendance? that cant happen. kids are ruthless. in PE they gonna be talking about your daddy all day.

Probably true about Steph, but Klay will bomb a team out at least once in a series guaranteed, KD will be a god and the defense is gonna be lockdown.
Harden will suddenly look awful, Paul will play well and get mad at others and miss a game due to injury, D'Antoni will get laughed at by Kerr at some point in the series.

Yeah, you've been pretty spot on with your Paul to Rockets assessments
By Dark PhaZeclippers destroyed the rockets in that trade–they realistically shouldn't have gotten like…any value
I don't know wtf the rockets are doing but aite
I mean his assessment of the trade shouldn't change. Harrell and Lou are probably better than even the Rockets thought, too. They got a lot for a player who was gone.

2 out of how many players got shipped, even contribute anything meaningful to that squad? And the team they left are 1/2 in their conference.
That's not "destroyed", but all yall seem to be fortune tellers on the Rockets until you're not.

Destroyed implies that Houston has suffered from the trade though, clearly it worked out pretty well for both sides.

I didn't say it wasn't a good get, but the notion that they got "destroyed" by giving up a starter (Bev) and bench mob guys for one of the best PGs of all time is lol
Either way I've got all the receipts, I'm just biding my time.
By s y Go To PostWhy didn't you bold the second half of my post?
why didn't you quote my post?
great
If anything it should be a relief that there's some kind of competition or a team trying to knock off the warriors in their conference, rather than hoping somebody will leave the team and break the squad up via FA or whatever. The way its spoken around here, everybody should just concede to the mfs

By Smokey Go To PostgreatIt's not that everyone is saying concede. It's that most of us wonder if Houston, a team noted for playing little defense, is equipped to beat the Warriors in the playoffs. Especially factoring in the playoffs is a time refs gets stingier and the halfcourt game becomes more important; kryponite to Harden and D'Antoni respectively. And then you have to outscore said team that can play freakish D when motivated.

I mean that Houston team can beat the Cavs in 7, sure. But I don't see them beating the Warriors.
if Houston, a team noted for playing little defenseYou haven't watched the Rockets this year. They consistently been a top 5-10 defense.

Ahh...So you don't watch their games then or pay attention, and instead are going off tired, past examples that don't apply to the 2017-2018 team. They have been ~top 10 all year in defense.
By Smokey Go To PostgreatAhhh so we're at the stage in the yearly houston fan cycle where y'all start your underdog circle jerk and "recording receipts" meme's.

not all of us start planning for the draft combine in december like suns fans
The Rockets are 11th in pace this year, which is actually quite a few slots lower than Golden State. I think they'd prefer a slower pace.
They should play faster than 11th because with their efficiency you would want the most possessions possible. You can only ISO so fast though.
By diehard Go To PostThey should play faster than 11th because with their efficiency you would want the most possessions possible. You can only ISO so fast though. The numbers are really close. Technically they're 11th, they could be 8th or crack top 5 by season's end.

By Smokey Go To PostMarch thread or nahIt's coming.
I am just struggling to figure out where Houston's advantage lies in a head-to-head.
Harden over Klay is obvious but it's not as big of a gap as Durant/Draymond over whomeverthefuck Houston has at those positions. Ariza/Moute/Anderson/Gerald vs Durant and Dray? like come on breh

Won't be much longer.
This would be awesome
Capela over zaza/javale by a mile
Harden over Klay by a mile
KD wins any matchup in the league cmon man
Green/Anderson/Moute>>>>>>>>> Iguadala/Livingston/whodafucks
Dray kinda sucks on offense this year. Ariza can match his scoring output on better efficiency.
It isn't out of the question that CP3 can match or even outplay curry for a series either.
I'm not saying Houston will destroy Golden State, the Warriors can definitely put up a good fight.

Plenty of great teams lose to teams with much worse records due to matchup advantages.
So therefor I am asking: what's Houston's matchup advantage?

If Harden flopped at the precise moment Zaza tried to injure him, how big of a tear in the spacetime continuum are we looking at?
