By HasphatsAnts Go To PostIs there a contract in the league worse than Chandler Parsons?Damn I didn't realize Dennis is locked up at $15.5M until after the '20/'21 season. Wiz would at least consider, even to eventually say no quickly.
Dennis Schroder, Taurean Prince and a 1st for Wall. WHO SAYS NO
By s y Go To Postgo phillyno u
By giririsss Go To PostSince Wall has been out the Wiz are 9 - 3.
The were 26 - 22 with him.
he's been injured forever, not just this most recent stent
the main thing is Tomas Satoransky didn't start to get minutes until December, and not strong minutes until Wall went down.
Wall with Sato as his backup is going to be a much better player.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Posthe's been injured forever, not just this most recent stentI dunno, from what i've seen / ready It seems as much about the fact that the ball isn't stick in walls hands all the time with Sato starting.

Maybe seeing this it'll give wall something to think about. He's a pretty smart player.

By friskykillface Go To PostHow is Austin a 65% free throw shooter lol
I haven't seen much of him play in the pros, but at Duke, his stroke was kind of wack. Arm position was off, elbow kind of flared out for no apparent reason.
I mean, he's still a permanent member of the "do no wrong" club, but I'm just saying.

Somebody should have a counter for how many wrong statements are made during "Players only". You could call it a "I don't actually watch basketball" counter.
Watching the TNT postgame but Isiaiah Thomas going in on the NCAA. Straight called scholarships and playing college ball an indentured servant contract. This was in response to Amare Stoudemire going to straight to NBA after HS. And IT commenting on on how it was a good choice.
Edit:Yep Cwebb and Baron Davis going off on it too. Damn IT saying NCAA is based on a plantation model and it’s the only legal one out there.

These are out of touch multi-millionaires who’ve been set for life since they turned 20, and they’re speaking to a world full of people who have to struggle through job searches and classifieds asking for 5 years experience, this degree, that training - which is more than likely way less relevant than the basketball training these guys get at college. Companies ask for that for entry level positions, for anything. People are struggling through unpaid internships, unpaid overtime, temp contracts without benefits while drowning under student loans that they can’t pay. And statistically, most likely for a job they don’t even have any passion for.

And everyone has to listen to these guys whine about being inconvenienced by being treated like local deities at college for 8 months while being paid more under the table than the average person gets in a year to play the game they love? Man, let those rich assholes step onto the other side of that TV camera and they can see how real exploitation works in this world. Having your multi-million dollar payday pushed back from age 18 to age 19 ain’t it. [/rant]
local deities lol
the amount of people getting paid vs the majority of those who aren't
for every ben simmons there's a thousand others who get profited off of directly and screwed over. and that's only if the simmons types even make it to the nba. you ain't even talking about injuries that occur in college. i'd love to hear your 2 cents there
like these college athletes don't work jobs too. WORD.

Just because they make more than normal people means they just have to "shut up and dribble" and not talk about things that are unfair for their line of work?

i doubt most people shed a tear for NBA stars that don't get paid a year earlier but it's still BS. the real problem is the one's that don't make it and i'm glad those with voices are speaking up about it.

Whats the upper limit of income or savings one can have before you're not allowed to talk about labor exploitation or civil rights issues?
