By reilo Go To PostWhy are all rockets fans such poor winners?
Smokey out here filling the void that Gondo left.
I went to a bar the other night, sports dive, rockets game on while I'm eating my awesome prime rib, nearly choked when I saw Harden just barrel into someone, no call for once. Then he's on defense as the other team got the rebound, gets a foul call on him, here comes the whinefest. I was like "lol I ain't missing much."
i actually really like harden when he bothers to play for real instead of cheesing the game. until he realizes that's what it takes in the playoffs they'll never make the finals.

By Moris Go To PostI don't know how to feel about Randle being good now.Y'all don't deserve Randle!
By DY_nasty Go To PostHow is Monk doing?

Crazy thing is… it's true. The Force. The Jedi… Randle beastin'….All of it… It's all true.
I'm paying out our bet early. I admit defeat.

By Mariosalic Go To PostI'm paying out our bet early. I admit defeat.oh no you don't. I'm gonna milk this til the end of the season.
I wish basketball were more like baseball and the free agency clock didn’t just start running no matter what. We should really get another year of rookie deal Randle since he played 14 minutes his first year.
By Kabro Go To Postoh no you don't. I'm gonna milk this til the end of the season.Glad to see Laker slaent doing work. And victory for fender also means no more creepy baby.
Who could've seen it coming that the Lakers will get an MVP candidate in IT? Can't blame me for not getting it right.

You got Larry Brown involved?
By Smokey Go To PostWas Harden's mom.
By DY_nasty Go To PostI wish someone would just punch Barea. They would probably get a bonus from the league.
dude needs to just swing it out at this point
By Jeff-DSA Go To PostI wish someone would just punch Barea. They would probably get a bonus from the league. Why? Bynum already tried killing him in 2011
By Kabro Go To PostPhoenix and memphis both 0 wins in their last 10.McD was always ready to battle it out with Hinkie, he just got set back when that 14-15 team or whatever it was fucked around and almost made the playoffs instead of tanking. He wasted no time taking that tanking crown though, he has done some shameless shit these last couple seasons.
Thats impressive tank commanding.
By diehard Go To Postomg please no more essays on why they arent a 3 or die teamNo more essays, just a quote and a chart.
By diehard Go To PostAgreed on the hack-a, but the whole "3 or die" mentality to people who have been watching basketball for decades is just not fun.
I hate that games often seem to come down to which team is hot from 3. At least seemingly.
By joefu Go To PostWhy? Bynum already tried killing him in 2011Did you watch the video? Barea's actions should've been called a technical.
By rodeoclown Go To PostI don't know what this chart means. Not labeling axes on a chart should be a fineable offense. I think the bottom axis is percentage of games won. So, MIL wins about 30% of their games when they shoot at least 40% from 3 while CHO wins 67% of theirs when shooting at least 40% from 3.
By rodeoclown Go To PostI don't know what this chart means.I think the colour bars correspond to 3p% and the number within wins when they shoot that hot?
Uhm the argument isn't how well Houston shoots from three it's how many attempts they jack up to overcompensate.
Shooting 15/42 (36%) from three for Houston is a winning formula because even if the opposing team might be 12/30 (40%) on the night Houston still has an edge because they are +9pts off of threes.
What I am saying is that chandlerparson's argument that Houston doesn't rely on threes to win a game is idiotic and he should stop talking about it. The reason you see Houston near the bottom on that chart is because they rarely crack the 40% mark since they shoot so many of them.
It's not even about accuracy, it's all about volume for Houston.

Konami is charging $10 for save slots while youtube lets this guy store this on their servers for free.
Houston has played 18 games where they shot above 40% from three.
The Warrios average 40% from three. They have 31 games where they've shot 40% or better from three.
For a more in depth comparison, number of games above 15 threes made:
Rockets: 35
Warriors: 14
In other words, that chart is trash and doesn't tell us anything about the Rockets because it's all about volume for them which that chart doesn't account for.

By domino Go To Postso who got hurt on that team to keep them from eating in the playoffs. In 08-09, Chandler and Peja.
By HasphatsAnts Go To PostI like Anthony Davis as much as anyone, but this talk of him taking the MVP from Harden is wild.Harden should still win, but it's good that AD is at least being talked about.
