2015 Formula One |OT| I have a contract to drive reilo's M3
- Page 1 of 1
lolsauber is the new lolknicks
My boy Lewis dominating Rosberg as usual. Good qualifying by Massa, Ferraris ans Lotus.
Rookies doing a great job: Felipe Nasr, Verstappen and Sainz. Locking forward to the race.
Pls someone do something with Mercedes. Fuck my life, this is 2014 mark II season.
McLaren...
Alonso...
lol
Also, looks like Bottas might miss the race, jarred his back on the turn exit leading to the front straight. Same bump that Schumi had a massive shunt on a few years back.
By reiloThe fuck at that title.http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/118041
Basically a greedy team (Sauber F1) signed 3 drivers for 2 cars and kept the 2 that gave them the most sponsorship money. The third, Geido van der Garde, took them to court and won. It's a hot mess.
hence, lolsauber
By Maradona.webmI couldn't handle this qualifying. Too late for me, 3am. Watched now, and fuck me, Mercedes is more dominant than last year.Nico looked so defeated after he climbed out of the car.

As for McLaren... Fernando is one of my all time faves and I really hope they turn it around quick or he has an out of that contract at the end of the season.
I've read a lot of nonsense about how Vettel has "turned Ferrari around". Bullshit. That car is all from last year's management team and Alonso's development. It's good to see Kimi competitive again though, he really does need a car with a grippy front end and brakes to match.

Yeah, i agree with you. Ferrari was a little worse than Williams last year (at the end of the season Ferrari just gave up on developing the 2014 car, Williams were far better on the last races), this year they're on their level.
I'm sure Alonso has some kind of clause that allows him to leave if the car doesn't perform.
WilliamsRacing: Following a series of tests, the FIA Medical Delegate has deemed @ValtteriBottas unable to race today. The team respect's the FIA's decision
:(
This thread is so dead. Nobody cares about F1 over here?
Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko has warned that the Austrian firm could pull out of Formula 1, claiming that the current regulations "will kill the sport".
Four-time world championship-winning outfit Red Bull endured a tough weekend in the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, with Daniel Ricciardo coming home a distant sixth and Daniil Kvyat's car failing before the start.

Were they threatening to leave last couple of years or is it only now? Either way, bring back the V10s. If Lamborghini and Ferrari can have flagship V10s available to the consumer, no reason Formula 1 can't.

reilo, Red Bull Racing is the LA Clippers of F1. They bitch about EVERYTHING that doesn't benefit them, with Cristian Horner (team principal/manager) being their CP3.
They won four consecutive driver's and constructor's champions ships with BY FAR the best aerodynamic chassis in the series with plenty of corners cut but never once cried out for a rebalancing of the aerodynamic regulations. Now that the regulations and arrangements aren't conducive to their benefit, they bitch and moan and threaten with their annual threat to pull out of the sport.
Do I think it's healthy for the sport that the Renault engine is shit? No. But I'm tired of Red Bull's "woe is me" routine. Every long time dynasty takes it's lumps after their run is over. Ferrari post Schumi (except for the single Kimi championship), Renault/Lotus after Fernando left the first time and now Red Bull.
If the pull out, fine. Before Red Bull took over, the team was Jaguar. Before Jaguar came about, it was Stewart Racing. Someone (Audi?!) will take over and F1 will be fine. Haas is coming aboard with what looks like true customer Ferrari cars next year. Renault will have had another year to sort out their engine, Mercedes is still here and Honda will have hopefully gotten their act together as well by then.
but yes, the V10s were amazing. :/
This Renault/Red Bull war of words is really starting to take off.

Renault Sport F1 managing director Cyril Abiteboul did not pull any punches when asked at a news conference about the situation. “I can confirm that we are looking at a lot of options, including getting out of Formula One,” he said.
Red Bull need to be careful because I'm not sure they'll get another engine from anyone else and they're a fair bit off attempting to build their own.
Just finished watching quali, great lap by Lewis in that first half of Q3! Also, I can't even imagine being 17 and having the maturity to deal with what a gran prix driver has to handle. Props to Max.
Also, Nico looks plain shook. Dude just isn't able to do what Lewis has been able to thus far. No idea what he was doing in Q3.
Great job by Seb taking advantage of the conditions to equalize pace between the Merc and Ferrari to split Nico and Lewis.
As for Fernando, I think he needed desperately needed a change of scenery. I feel like he's hedging bets on Ferrari stealing Lewis away next year and a seat opening up at Mercedes. I think that scenario is plausible if Lewis wins his third title this year.
Looking forward to this race. Hoping for some weather to spice it up!
Excited that its not Mercedes 1-2 again after qualifying.
Race is at 3am for me. Not sure if I want to stay up or wake up early.
By FuturusX Go To Post I can't see Lewis leaving Mercedes, he could easily win this championship and perhaps the next. Nico is beating himself at the moment. Last year he had pace over a lap to keep him afloat, it may yet come back, but right now he looks lost.
I think Lewis leaving is a possiblity if and only if he hits that magical third championship. After that, he can go hit that other Formula 1 milestone and drive for the Scuderia.
As for Nico, well... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoYZf-lBF_U">let's just say this is what he is right now.
Forza Ferrari!!! Wow, what a race by Seb!!
Mercedes really botched Hamilton's tire strategy. Seb was amazing today, WHAT A DRIVE.

Poor Nico....lol
Missed this weekend's race with work, ill watch the highlights tonight. Saw a few tweets about it, why didn't Rosberg just pass Lewis when he was complaining he was too slow? Has he just given in and is officially playing second fiddle?
Maldonado is so ridiculous.

Rosberg felt the target lap time (to manage the front tyres) was too slow as it was backing him into Ferrari.
He was however 3+ seconds behind Hamilton so it wasn't a case of being in the dirty air.
Anyone know where I can watch highlights of practice/qualifying/race? Not specifically for this race, but I've noticed that F1 has the internet locked down on any unofficial uploads. NBCSN Live Extra lets me watch the full replays but I'm looking for something less time consuming. Sky seems to lock down their highlights to users and BBC isn't reliable for me.
Although its miles more exciting than WRC (Seb Loeb every damn year)
By faridmon Go To PostF1 is boring this year. Its all about Hamilton and no one else. Reminds me of Schumacer days.I think its more fun than last season. The battle for 2-4 is fun to watch and Rosberg fucking up every week is an interesting story.

Although I sort of feel bad for him because the team obviously support Hamilton way more, but yeah, last season, he had the chance t actually win the whole thing, but messed it up somehow in the last few races.

Formula One 2016 season to begin in April – the latest start since 1988
Rumours Australia won't be the first race either.
