FTR wrestled the Young Bucks last night on Dynamite. It was an absolute 5* banger.
That's two match of the year contenders that FTR have taken part in in the space of one week.

FTR was cooking
I can’t wait for Bowens to get healthy so the Acclaimed can work with them. Them boys are stupid over rn lol
Apparently FTR taught them tag wrestling once they got put together so I think they’d put on a good program.

FTR v YB was sick, top top tag wrestling.
Joe looked great, I thought he botched his topé but he shrugged it off and grinned.
The Hardy's are really going for broke with all these matches lol, save some for the ppv Jeff!
Jade looking boss as always.
Good show all in all.

I love how much this generation of wrestlers reveres Bret Hart.
Dad is leaning into the joke a bit I'm sure. But he has said many times that Bret is the best ever.

New Japan World, the NJPW streaming service, will now be streaming episodes of AEW Dynamite and Rampage.
This is a pretty big deal as it points towards an further deepening of the relationship between the two companies. Could only be a matter of time before we see Okada, Tanahashi and Ospreay on AEW. Maybe even Danielson into the G1.

The antiAEW sentiment I see online is hilarious. I understand a lot of stannery but wrestling federation stannery is pretty absurd
I've just seen that this is happening next week. This is a match I've wanted, but never thought we'd actually get.

Watched the first half of this week's Dynamite. Great ep so far. The MJF drama was very entertaining. Penta - Punk was also very good.
This was coming from a mile off unfortunately. Kushida is one of the best wrestlers in the world, but his size has always been an issue. New Japan only saw him as a Jr Heavyweight and once he won that title and feuded with Hiromu he had nowhere else to go. They wouldn't move him up to the Heavyweight division.
He was a bit unlucky with the timing of his move to NXT. If he'd arrived a couple of years earlier I reckon he could've feuded with Gargano and Cole. HHH didn't have a problem with using smaller guys in high card positions. But by the time Kushida arrived it was clear that HHHs influence was waning.
I think he could be a huge asset to RoH if Khan decides that he wants to keep that brand going. Put him in the Pure title hunt or even the Heavyweight division. He deserves an opportunity.

By Cleff Go To PostHere we go leds. Truly the greatest time to be a wrestling fan.The plan is to fly out to Chicago for it. Looking forward to it.
Give me Tanahashi Vs Danielson.
Most of the last two generations of indie wrestlers owe their careers to KENTA. They stole his and Marufuji's shit wholesale.
He arrived on the scene five years too soon. If he broke through in 2010 rather than 2005 he'd be a multiple IWGP Champion by now.

Nah, him and Marufuji both got lazy. They had the golden ticket with NOAH and neither of them cared enough to keep the promotion big after Misawa's death.
He's also got a history of injuries.

One of the best matches in TNA history. AJ in 2005 was on a higher level than any other wrestler in the world. One of the best years for quality matches any individual wrester has ever had.

Abyss is one of the best big man wrestlers ever and goes alongside AJ, Joe and Chris Sabin and the cornerstones of TNA. Great gimmick but also could keep up with the X Division guys in the ring. Looked like a proper monster when given the chance.
He's another guy TNA really missed the boat on. Booked him so, so poorly to the point where he became a joke character. One week he'd murder half the roster then the next week he'd lose in 5 minutes to a guy a foot shorter and 100 pounds lighter.
Feuded with duds like Matt Morgan and Rellik (it's killer spelled backwards!). They sould have capitalised on his excellent 04-06 run with a lengthy world title reign. But they didn't and by the time they out the belt on him his body was broken down from years of wrestling a high impact style.

I can name 20 wrestlers off the top of my head I'd rather see in the TNT picture than Sammy and Scorpio
they are both horrible, yes
add Jungle Boy to it too I can't wait until the tag belts come off Jurassic Express

first 5 are some puzzling cuts. well I didn't care for Dexter but the rest were quite entertaining. especially Malcolm
I quite liked Dexter when he was paired with Gargano and Indi Hartwell. Unfortunately for him, he got lost in the shuffle when Johnny decided to let his WWE contract expire.
He has worked in TNA previously so hopefully he'll find some work there. AEW is a no go I think. There's just too much talent there now and they can't fit everyone in anymore.
Like, I assume Gargano will go to AEW when he decides to return. But what does he actually do for them? The likes of Adam Cole, Malakai Black, Keith Lee etc all seem to be treading water a bit right now. Just not enough TV time to go around.

The lack of TV time is there indeed but what will they do, increase Rampage to 2 hrs or god forbid, increase Dynamite. 3hs is plenty but TK could start shuffling some guys to ROH maybe?
Bivens was a contract expiration, apparently. They wanted him to re-sign and he declined.
The rest, eh. I've been watching NXT 2.0 some since the relaunch and I can't say that anybody on that list is a world beater. Lumis has a good look, but he's already 38, the in-ring performance is eh, and that gimmick is DOA on the main roster.
