Damn, I was always an Outsiders mark (like most people) I love the fact he pulled himself out of that dark path but this is sad.
I guess it's almost a given at this point but still, maybe there's a glimmer of hope.
RIP Bad Guy, I'll always love the memories of seeing him and Nash tear it up in WCW.

Yep, the whole Outsiders / nWo thing basically rekindled my interest in wrestling in the mid 90s. Hall is my favorite.
In the baseball thread, I'd spam Hall gifs anytime the Yankees beat the Orioles (I absolutely loathe the Orioles because their stupid media blackout rules block me from watching the Yankees play them.)

WWE Hall of Famer Scott Hall, who played iconic heel Razor Ramon in the 1990s and helped professional wrestling gain worldwide attention, will be taken off life support, longtime friend and former wrestler Kevin Nash said.
:/
my mans was self medicating for decades after killing a dude in self defense.
say goodbye to the bad guy.
rip.

This is from 13 years ago. Bret Hart doesn't miss. He was right about Bischoff and Hogan ruining TNA and was right about AJ Styles needing to get the fuck outta there.
Dy-No-Myte was great.
The JAS Jericho segment had some great heelery and Garcia is showing some character aswell besides awesome in the ring.
PP vs Hardys was good, Jeff a little sloppy but that might be him being a bit out of ring shape? Still hits a perfect swanton.
Wardlow v MJF could shape the big man to a huge babyface run and I'm all for it. Didn't expect them to finish it like this.
Crowd was huuuuuuge for Rosa, Match of the Night. Hoping she gets a decent run with it.

Rampage main event had 6 black dudes involved in the main event. Nice change of pace from the usual suspects.
By Burt The Samurai Go To PostBig America back with WWE?According to the ragsheets it seems yeah.
Austin beer truck segment took place almost a quarter of a century ago. It's a top 5 wrestling moment for me.
Nah they gotta pay me more to eat that. Over the broadcast that’s probably the loudest chop I’ve ever heard. Never seen a chop make the crowd do “holy shit” chants lol

Makes sense as he had a massive heart issue a few months ago. According to this interview he still has a defibrillator attached to his heart too.
HHH is an interesting figure as far as retirements go as he was never a beloved babyface. His best work was clearly as a heel and his obvious connections to the McMahons means there's always a slight distance between the fans and he. He's obviously a modern day legend, but will never be regarded as fondly as Austin, Rock or Foley.

HHH was a good hand but he was never the guy, as much as hé thought it. If hé wasn't married to a Mcmahon he would be done a long time ago.
Good memories but not a legend.

goat heel of cutting long boring promos.
that title reign from hell was a motherfucker, every show this dude would be the first thing to come out, spend 15 mins babbling and come back for the main even with his dumbass sledge hammer,

Steiner Brothers are going into the WWE HOF.
Often known fact: both brothers are in fact named Rick Steiner.
Their actual last name is Rechsteiner

Classic shit lol
Bless The Rock
Nice to see we have guys here who regard Bret Hart as a GOAT. I'm inclined to agree. Steve Austin and The Rock were the two greatest wrestling entertainers, but Bret Hart was convincingly real. He was the guy who made my 8 year old brain believe his matches were real and the others weren't. Was such a massive bummer when he ended up on WCW.
We only had WCW when I was young so I grew up with WCW Bret.
I instantly hated him when he faked out Goldberg with the steelplate lol.

Wrasslemania Day 1 was : Lot's of filler, first 2 hours were entirely skippeable but Becks v Bianca was good. Flair v Ronda eh.
Rollins v COOOOODYYY. Damn, great pop, great entrance and they let him keep his theme. He even had a great promo afterwards but it's only available digitally? Lame.
Austin & Owens actually had a match goddamn, Austin even bumped! Great closer eventually.
Lot's of Raw matches to start with but it picked up in the second half.

Think you're underselling Logan Paul, who was surprisingly sharp in the ring for a celeb and a natural heel, but generally my thoughts. Rollins vs Cody was awesome.
Wrestlemania Night 1 spoilers
STONE COLD
Was such a treat seeing Austin wrestle one more time. It was notable that he really started getting the match after the first few minutes. He must've felt pretty cautious about his neck. But the crazy bastard still took a suplex on concrete. I didn't think he could top his former final match at Mania 19 with The Rock. But this was the perfect cap on his career.
Kudos to Kevin Owens too. He carried this feud for months and made the match something worth seeing. Bumped his ass off for Austin.

Day 2: I liked the 8 women tag. Thought Edge v AJ was decent but expected way more. Austin coming back again was nice, pulling double duty to save WM.
Still hate Mcafee, in the ring or commentary, absolute shite. Roman v Brock was predictably boring.
Zayn v Jackass MOTN.

I liked the ending to edge vs AJ, never seen a spear in the air like that. That new evil gimmick has promise too with that other dude.

Loved Edge's entrance though and yeah, there's some new opportunities now for the story to go on.
