Your eyes eventually adjust and then you want bigger and you adjust and then you want bigger etc etc until you're living in an IMAX.
I spent years living with a 26" lcd display and jumped to a 65" thought I'd gone overkill and now I'm adjusted, I kinda want to go bigger.

High and dry in a once in a century flood and then warm during winter with a state wide power grid failure. The lad Smokey just can't understand the struggle of the common person.

Honestly I feel like this goes for anything in life. This is why we need to find our way back to Allah. 10 years ago I loved my membrane keyboard. Now a regular mechanical keyboard isnt enough anymore. I gotta lube it myself and have custom switches. Same goes for my tv, my pc and so on.
By Kidjr Go To PostHello all the review websites are telling me to choose between a G1 or a90jHow important is playing games on this TV? If it's important, go with the C1, if not and you're happy with the Sony, go for that.
I think the LG is good for movies, TV, etc, but the Sony is better. The reverse is true for games, but I'd say the LG has a bit more of a lead there

Couldn’t have said it any better. Such a shame though that the Sony is so much more expensive. At least in my market. LG is doing great things with their aggressive pricing. We’ve even sold quite a bunch of 83 inch oleds already
By bud Go To Postwent with the 55, but should’ve gone with the 65.
next one will be 77.
Been sayin. Just get the biggest TV you can afford, your eyes will adjust. Better than buying small and then figuring out how you can pawn it off and go bigger.

At this point wait for CES next month tbh. That’s when the new model year TVs are revealed, and the previous gen will start seeing reductions. I think Samsung will be revealing its OLED which will be very interesting.
By Lunatic Go To PostBuy the bigger screen. You will get much more enjoyment out of a larger screen.Facts.
Also, you can amaze guests with the ridiculous thinness of you CX or C1.
I think it's too thin.
The only reason why i don't want to get bigger than 85" is because it just a huge black wall that dominates a room too much at that point. For a media room fine but for the living room ehh.. Going bigger i would need to be able to put it away like that one foldable tv. That would be the dream.
Upgrading my shitty low budget Samsung to a 55 inch C1. It’s time.
Or should I get another TV? Going to game on it (obviously) but movies are more important and I saw the C1 has a filmmaker mode.

C1 is a good option, anything conceivably better will cost twice as much.
I would also recommend going for 65".

I've no idea if anything is better for around the same price, but man, I have not regret my c9 one second. Cant go back from oled again, at least not until a newer similar tech is made. Only thing I wish is that I had gotten it slightly bigger, but preference and room size and all I guess.
The C1 is great unless you are very sensitive to OLED stuttering like i am. I rarely watch movies on it because of it.
65 is too big for my space and the way the room is set up. It’s also a bit more expensive than I’d like to spend so I’ll go 55. My current TV is 49 and I can’t imagine being bigger than that lol.
I’ll go for the C1, thanks m8s

But then I saw the light.
You will regret going with 55 inch. You can take my word for it, I went with a 55 inch CX last year.
By DiPro Go To PostEveryone does.
Linius soon you will regret going with the 65 not the 77.
Well that’s actually a big monetary gap over here. Whereas the 65 was something I could have afforded. Errors were made mate.
By Daz Go To PostWaaaaay more expensive. Is it? You may be thinking of the A90J? The A80J I can get it at close to the same price.
Better for films.
By Freewheelin Go To PostAlways go bigger PBI did. It’s bigger than my last TV do you bozos not understand I can’t go bigger
smh
By Perfect Blue Go To Post55 inch LG C1.Does 1080p even make sense on tv's this size?
Most modern high-end 4K TVs have great upscaling tech
(Most 4K UHD movies also aren't shot natively in 4K anyhow and production companies use top-notch upscaling methods so it's all fake anyhow)

There's plenty of great films not even released in 4k, that I certainly enjoyed at 1080 on the c9. I do play most of it through my nvidia shield too though, which got some pretty good upscaling.
If you got glasses, you can see up to 1440p and 60hz.
