By DiPro Go To PostI fear it's outside my budget but i'd buy it in a second if it isn't.
Edit:
I saw the price… lol no.
Hung up a TV in the office. Going to spend next weekend getting stuff to hide the wires and put things on shelves.
Received an email from Thenaudio. They have a new HDMI switcher: https://www.thenaudio.com/product/guide3-hdmi-switch/

That's sad news, 2 years isn't a lot of time to lose feature support like that.
That said, does DV gaming actually look that much better?

I want to profess my love for my CX 65.
How do I stop it from turning on my ps5 if I just want to watch some iplayer?

For the first time in a long time I took a look at OLED prices and man...they've really come down.
Can get the 65" C1 for $1,799. 55'' for $1,299.
I had no idea they dropped that low.

I thought they were normal prices for LG’s C series on sale. Already seen the C1 48 for under a grand last month
Got tempted to buy the LG Service Remote app today and disable ASBL on my C9. Things got in the way. Might do it tomorrow. Yolo.

It doesn't usually bother me, but I was watching Midnight Mass the other day, which has a lot of long dark scenes and .... yeah.
Did you turn off both TCP and GSR?

Saw the lg a1 77" fairly cheap here the other day (almost 40% off from the lowest it had been before) ,was very surprised and had to double check a few times. I was seriously considering it despite space being too limited until sometime next year.

It's been months with extensive 4K DolbyVision watching and no issues so far.

ABL is on Sony OLEDs too, however, their algorithm isn’t as intensive as LGs. But it’s still there. It’s apart of this stage of OLED tech.
Could use some advice. Looking for a TV for my parents, doesn't need to be more than £600. Any decent options around that price?

Look at TCL . I’ve gotten a few and they are pretty good for the price. 4K and have Roku built in.

I'll have to call to clarify. I'm not going to take a lesser model, so if they are going to upgrade me to the 2021 model, I'll do that instead.
Feels like you get diminished margins/quality beyond 77" because you don't get 8K to go along with it.

Hmm, and that additional cost probably doesn't make it worth it either.
By JesalR Go To PostStay at 77, but maybe go for the Evo panel if you can find one?
Can that be determined from Best Buy's site?

I’ve inherited an 82inch Samsung and it basically takes up the entire wall. I couldn’t go out and buy a tele that size for my uses. It’s obscene.

Unless it straight up doesnt fit anywhere in your house, the tv isn't too big.

I think I'm smart. When I see $2899 for 77" and $4999.99 for 83" I can reasonably tell which is the smarter buy.
