By DiPro Go To Post1250 brexits the lowest for this? Why are your prices so high? I paid less for my brothers 65" and saw the 48" on BF for $900 <
VALUE ADDED TAX BABY
talk to me about the pricing of the c1, lads.
tell me they're going to be cheaper than last year's models.
at this point, oled has matured. it's not a new technology anymore.
we're not expecting massively new things from oled anymore.
i demand they make them cheaper.

They're also planning to make smaller, 20-30" screens.
34" ultrawide OLED monitors within our lifetimes. I never stopped believing.
Very curious to see how the new "oled evo" panels pan out. Vincent said in a video that the Panasonic oleds that used this type of panel had desaturated colors compared to the LG oleds due to the increased brightness.
Stadia and Geforce Now coming to LG TVs

This could be pretty big. For Stadia at least.

LG has made no secret of its gaming ambitions, with its 2020 OLED TVs boasting a sub-1ms input lag and featuring Nvidia's G-Sync technology for reducing screen tears for PC-connected play.
PS5 and Xbox Series X game consoles will supply competition too, with LG's 2021 OLED TVs coming with four HDMI 2.1 ports, VRR (variable refresh rate), and a "Game Optimizer" function to keep input lag below 1ms.
Both Google Stadia and Nvidia GeForce Now are slated to land on LG TVs in the second half of 2021. We'll be sure to update you when more specific timings are announced.

So you don't get the brighter panel in the most expensive sets, and the 83'' size isn't offered in the G line either.
G1 series: The G stands for Gallery, a reference to the slim, wall-hugging design first introduced last year, but the biggest upgrade is Evo. The only way to get LG's new, brighter panel is to buy its G1 series – none of the other LG OLEDs have it. Evo TVs have a new luminous element, described as a new layer of green by the LG rep who briefed me, which provides more color purity and extra brightness. How much brighter the rep wouldn't specify.

B9 ist just the budget version of the C9. they all have a B variant.
C6 –> C7 –> C8 –> C9 –> CX –> C1
B6 –> B7 –> B8 –> B9 –> BX –> A1

By jjasper Go To PostHas anyone ever dealt with LG customer service? It seems pretty terrible.I've found the best way to get great customer service is through complaining on twitter.
The worst customer service is always through the phone line since you're going to end up on the line with someone working at a call center and hates life.
I call Comcast, I get long hold times, dropped calls(they hanging up, I did the same shit when I worked for them) and no solutions. I shoot up Comcast's twitter DMs? I get year long promos, bill credits, etc.
I may have to do that. They will not even send a technician to look at my tv because I don’t have the purchase receipt from an almost 3 year old tv.
Not sure where you are but over here you’re usually best of contacting the store you bought it from. My store offers a 5 year warranty by default so we would have just fixed the problem. But even with products outside the warranty it’s just easier to arrange stuff for us since we have the contacts.
By Facism Go To PostVALUE ADDED TAX BABYi actually looked it up and prices went way up here too, kinda shocked but it seems it's like demand went super high because everyone wants one for their new consoles. i got my bros 65" for 1000 trumps and now it's up to 1700.
Curious to see how good the Sony 100'' X90J is (successor to the 2020 x900h).
Dimming zones or lack thereof, could be an issue at that size

Given the C1 range has been announced, does anything about it stand out as being worth waiting for instead of just buying a CX in the here and now?
It's newer.
Possibly a new web OS UI.
The C1 will not use the next-gen 'OLED evo' panel, meaning it will likely have image quality very close to the LG CX, but with the extra AI processing powers.
Possibly a new web OS UI.
extra AI to get in the way of PQ, and full screen webOS to show you more ads, so no.
unless you go for the G1 and get the evo panel.

By Laboured Go To PostHeard Currys is doing some good deals.Horse pls, the wound is still raw from how they handled my order and subsequent refund process.
When I went through PayPal to get my money back, they submitted the tracking number for the wall mount as proof of delivery for the TV. Heinous cunts.
Just ordered the CX55 again for £1299, this time with RicherSounds. Should get £100 quid knocked off that if they honour their price match scheme though. Time to finally ascend.

I'm catching up on some old vids by the HDTV review & information GOD and I just heard:

By Facism Go To Postthis close to pulling the trigger on a cx.
I really want to wait till I get a ps5 buuuuuuuut.
You don't want to wait and see if the price drops further for the CX or if the C1 just makes more sense for long term usage?
Thank you brother RATHasReturned.
I will wait. I was in that mood to make an expensive mistake and there's no women around so.
Also there's the worry that they'll become more expensive as white people here finally got their brexit
