I use the Sonos Arc with it and it is very good (although I also bought two Sonos One SLs to assist with surround sound).

I had to get something to raise the TV. That something was a simple black IKEA shelf. https://www.ikea.com/gb/en/p/lack-wall-shelf-black-brown-40103633/
By Daz Go To PostI ask because the stand on the CX seems quite low and I don't want what ever soundbar I get to obscure the screen.LG make a soundbar to go with the TV that won't obscure it, but most others will (the Arc definitely does)
I've used a Lack shelf piece from IKEA to lift my TV up a few inches to just clear it
By Daz Go To PostYou mean tot use the lack shelves attached to the wall or just as a base on the TV cabinet?Just as a base, same thing that Horse linked sitting atop my media unit, with the TV on top of it
It has the helpful effect of making it easier to slide the TV around to position it better

Imagine buying 120-144hz ultrawides when the 200hz 1ms nano IPS Acer X34S is right behind the corner and has been for the past 8 months and you'll be maybe able to buy it in 2023. Just imagine.

So I bought BR2049 on UHDBD now that I got the PS5. IMO the biggest perceptible difference between digital and disk is the audio.
Vincent using visual evidence to confirm that PS5 works correctly with the 2020 Receivers and Xbox currently does not. I am still going to wait before purchasing a new receiver as the Zone 2 eARC has worked correctly for me.
On second view the improved quality of the video from a disc was more noticeable with things in motion. Audio still biggest improvement tho
Joining Vapes in receiving my 55 inch CX on the first of december. Since a PS5 is still far away I was thinking about picking up the regular BR2049 blu-ray. Can't wait for the moment I actually have the console and the TV though.
By bud Go To Postget the uhd version.
see it as an investment.
Yeah I’ll buy that once I have that PS5. The regular version is 10 Merkels. Or does the 4K version come with the regular Blu-ray Disc as well?

I actually got the iTunes version last night on a whim lul. BR2049 4K HDR (Dolby Vision) and Dolby Atmos @ 9.99 and watch anywhere anytime, I’m good.
Watched it a bit already, beautiful.
Reminder that the C9/CX play iTunes content natively, no extra hardware necessary.

I’ll need to look into it more, but there’s a display port 1.4 to HDMI 2.1 adapter available that uses DSC for 4K/120hz.

Anybody know anything about this? Smokey?

My arc arrived, set up was a breeze. Nice upgrade over the vizio soundbar it replaced. Distortion is gone and the sound profile has nice definition.
even tho the vizio had a sub, the bass response on the arc is much better.
Now I'm scared that I'll have to upgrade my TV in the near future.
