That was the impression I got too.I can't hate Dame as a basketball player, but for some reason I hate his fucking face. Don't know why.Racist.
lol. I just hate his "something stinks up in here" facial expression when he clutch. Can you blame him? The Rockets stunk really bad that last defensive possession. Plus, James Harden's beard always stinks. Not to mention his unwashed hipster jeans.
Still doe, racist.

Not to mention his unwashed hipster jeans.I'm half convinced the reason Lowry went all hero ball was because he wanted to have his own Lillard moment. Lillard is cool in my book. We wouldn't have taken him with that pick anyway.

can't believe casey got immediately re-signed like that…We live in a world where Mike D'Antoni was hired by the Lakers after his performance with the Knicks.
can't believe casey got immediately re-signed like that…
I can. That team was supposed to be tanking for a top 5 pick and instead he got them to play hard as hell. There were plenty of times they got way behind, and he put the right guys on the floor to get back in it. If the refs didn't swallow their whistles (and you know they wouldn't have if it was Wade instead of Lowry) he's coached that team into the second round.
At least that made a slight bit of sense because of Nash and Kobe. Also, the Knicks were nothing but a train wreck anyways...can't believe casey got immediately re-signed like that…We live in a world where Mike D'Antoni was hired by the Lakers after his performance with the Knicks.
The coach literally cost his team the game and failed to adjust in more ways than one throughout the series.

Ross getting 22 minutes a game despite being the wing equivalent of Hibbert was some bullshit
The Mavericks plan to reacquire Tyson Chandler this summer, according to Marc Stein of ESPN.com.YES PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DO IT MAVS WE'LL DRIVE HIM TO THE AIRPORT.
He is under contract for the 2014-2015 season with the Knicks, so it would have to be via trade if he makes his way back to Dallas. Letting Chandler go after the Mavericks' run at the 2011 championship was one of the most criticized moves made by owner Mark Cuban, and it now looks like the Mavs may be entertaining the thought of bringing him back.
Wright/Dalembert/1st rounder for Tyson seems fair.

LOLHEY
Obviouisly Tyson Chandler is the missing piece to Dallas going back to the NBA Finals. Dallas knows this and will have to pay a pretty penny for the multiple time 1st team All-Defense center.
Frankman is the same guy who suggested trading beno udrih for a 1st round pickI didn't suggest it, reports surfaced that the Spurs might be interested in him and could offer their 1st (which was like 28th anyway). Nice try though.
Put the cocaine away. There will be cocaine for all after Tyson Chandler reunites with Dallas for the low low cost of Dalembert, Brandan Wright and a measly 1st rounder. What could go wrong?
Repost for Off-Season:
RT @sam_amick: Mark Jackson will not be back as Golden State Warriors coach, @USATODAYsports has learned. Story to come.
To be fair, that experiment was a lot better than anyone anticipated.

did they really expect the team to do any better than they achieved? 51 wins in the West and nearly beat the clippers without Bogut.

This is a good time to bring up that he played his best line-up: Curry/Klay/Iggy/Draymond/Bogut a grand total of 77 minutes on the season.
EDIT: His players (not named Bogut or Barnes) love him though, not sure how that plays into it. If they can get Stan Van, it'd be a real coup.

No idea about lineup combinations
Assistant coaching implosion
Total dick to Jerry West and John Stockton
Isolations for Barnes, Klay, and Iguodala.
Egotistical dumbass
He definitely needed to go. This is going to end being like the Lionel Hollins firing where the media confuses team success for coaching quality and complains for about impatient teams or some shit for a while.

But Berman never mentioned Wizards doe!
You need to quit this path and try to come up with an offer for NBA All-Star Tyson Chandler before the Mavs get him. Portland won't stand a chance once the Trinity of Chandler/Dirk/Marion reunite.

Just because they were interested in trading for him doesn't mean they would give a 1st round pick away to get him.
My original post was just making fun of the fact that you would even suggest such a thing, because the spurs would never do it.

I think Joerger is an underrated coach and he doesn't get nearly enough credit for keeping that Memphis team afloat when Gasol's out. While Mark Jackson's a terrible X and O's guy, he got his team to play hard every game and winning 51 games in that conference is tooough.
I get why they ended up firing him, but they need to get Stan Van or somebody as good as he is. Not sure whether he'd even take the job since his brother is such good friends with Jackson.

While I don't hate him and commend him for his coaching job against the clips...it felt like the Warriors underachieved for much of the season. Yes, the W's won 51 games but honestly, it really should've been a lot more. There were too many winnable home games that were dropped during the regular season (against sub .500 teams no less). The hockey substitutions and the iso offense were equally frustrating to watch considering how fluid the offense would look when everyone was sharing the ball. Despite that, still gotta give Jackson props for establishing defense and rebounding on this team. I can't remember the last time where there was a Warriors team that actually ranked high on defensive categories and would consistently outrebound the opposing team.
Hah...I actually don't mind trading away Chandler at all.
But the Mavericks are sorely mistaken if they think he can solve something for them. Cuban is simply a moron for tearing apart a championship winning team a month after they chipped. Easily one of the stupidest moves I can recall an NBA owner do to a winning team.

I'm not sure SVG is the right fit. Personally, I would go for Alvin Gentry. He seems to be the right fit given the personnel makeup but the jury is out on whether or not he's a championship caliber coach (or if the roster is championship caliber for that matter- Steph is an amazing player but I still don't feel that you can build a roster around him).

I think Stan Van works anywhere because he's a free thinker. His teams are always prepared, and they play hard. And the best part about Stan Van is that he's willing to change his philosophy to match his personel. His Miami teams were very different from the Orlando teams and he built them up from bottom feeders to contenders. Big fan of Stan Van.
