When did you become so bitter and consistently objectively wrong, giri? :roll:Let's all take a sigh of relief and appreciate the fact that our favorite teams did not draft McLemore.
You say that like he wouldn't be the best wing on the Cats.

According to several sources, including a teammate, Noah’s All-Star Weekend “conversation’’ with New York Knicks standout Carmelo Anthony didn’t end in New Orleans. They had discussions via text the rest of the season, including the day after the Bulls were eliminated in the playoffs by the Washington Wizards.
“I was kidding Jo that they were boys now,’’ a source said in a phone interview Friday. “ ‘Well, get your boy to come to Chicago.’ ’’
When asked during the season about his heart-to-heart with Anthony, Noah was his usual coy self.
“What are you talking about? The gossip going on?’’ Noah said. “I feel a lot of gossip. I think we all know that we’re in a good place. We’ve got a healthy group, it’s a healthy environment, and we’re not going to let gossip get in the way of what we’re doing. We’ve gone through so much this year, so it’s not going to be a little gossip that gets out there.
Sources said Noah has been in Anthony’s ear as often as possible, and he has told other Bulls to push hard for Anthony this summer. But there is one condition: Backup big man Taj Gibson can’t be sacrificed.

If the Bulls can keep Thibs
If D-Rose is at least close to all-star good and stays healthy
If Melo comes to the Bulls
If they keep Taj
then that's a for sure chip for the Bulls
that's a lot of ifs though

Still think they need a third scorer like the Heat. Look at OKC, they have Westbrook and Durant and that's still not enough.
Edit: I wish that someway Minnesota would be stupid enough to take Boozer for Love. Would never happen, but if it did. Love, Melo, and Rose. Then we can talk possible championship.
if melo doesn't go to the bulls i'll be legit shocked
-knicks suck and are capped out
-ny fans are tired of this shit, would rather tank
-chicago has everything except a scorer
-melo tired of losing

Melo says "he's tired of losing". He'll use Phil Jackson joining the Knicks as an excuse to keep his wife happy in NY and take the max money, which he probably couldn't get with the Bulls.
I hope DJ gets to stay in Chicago. Don't remember the guy ever being so happy. Forget the fact that he's playing well again.
I hope DJ gets to stay in Chicago. Don't remember the guy ever being so happy. Forget the fact that he's playing well again.Bulls are probably going to have to decide between DJ and Kirk, not both. Sounds like Kirk is gone. He made a comment in his after season interview where he said something like "I'll always be a Chicago Bulls at heart". Sounds like he knows he's old and is going to take some money somewhere. I really hope he doesn't go to the Heat. I wouldn't enjoy having to hate him.
I'm posting this everywhere because I called it so hard.Watch, he'll be back next season. No he doesn't.Nooooo, we still lose this series, noooooo he ain't coming back.Isn't he personally liked by Les? He got that Isaiah Thomas immunity.
Les don't play that shit.
Kevin McHale will return as the Rockets coach for next season, a person with knowledge of the decision said today.
McHale just completed the final guaranteed season of his contract, but multiple individuals with knowledge of the Rockets thinking have said management believes in him and wants him to have more time with a relatively new team that spent the season battling injuries.
The fourth year of McHale’s contract was subject to a team option but it appears the Rockets are sticking with him.
The Rockets were 54-28 this season and have made the playoffs the last two years.
Houston was eliminated by Portland in six games on Friday.
I'm ready to just write off next year and wait for the 2015-2016 season. By that time both Lin and Asik will be gone freeing up quite a bit of money for a nice 3rd player, and the Rockets will most likely not give Mchale a fresh contract.
Just one more NBA season of suffering ;_;

The same thing will happen next season. This same roster with a competent coach would've beat the Blazers. The Rockets had multiple double digit leads in every game and could not hold on. Waited until game 3 before making any significant changes on LMA. Last night was just the icing on the cake with the way he had the guys setup on the last play. Putting that all together, Mchale isn't going to suddenly get better as a coach. We will have $30 million between Lin and Asik off the books for 15-16 with a new coach.
This is almost a worse feeling than what happened last night ;_;

Don't underestimate the power of Isaiah Immunity™.
i have no hatred for the rockets, but i loathe bitchdwight and drunkharden.
i almost feel sorry for you smokey. almost.
as for my lakers, if nash retires, the fresh reboot will be complete.
and if giri is reading this, i know you're going to respond to this because the word nash is in it, so you can ead.

Don't worry, Kevin Love will lead them to the promised land like he did for Minnesota.
Now what
I've spent the past 15 minutes looking at contract tables. I think I may have found a way for us to get Bonds and Griffey and we wouldn't have to give up very much.
How the fuck do the Lakers only have three players of any note officially signed for next year

It was a weird season. But time for the serious questions.
Will Zach opt out?
Will Ed Davis get a big offer even though he has never done anything?
Will Miller retire?
Will James Johnson resign?
Will we finally get a SF with a pulse?

Will Zach opt out? No; dude's reiterated plenty of times he'd gladly take less money to stay here and I can't see him working in anyone else's system.
Will Ed Davis get a big offer even though he has never done anything? Fuck no. Nearly 1.5 million more (a total of $4.3) than Koufos? Get outta here.
Will Miller retire? No, and he'll absolutely re-sign with us.
Will James Johnson resign? I hope so, but Joerger ain't been giving him no burn, maybe in anticipation of letting him leave.
Will we finally get a SF with a pulse? Why would we need that when we still got another year of Tayshaun for only $7.7 million
To take less money to stay Zach has to opt out.
OH, right. Then yes. The answer is yes. I was thinking "opt out" in general terms and not in basketball terms.
I dunno if any of you play 2k14, but Lebron seems to go to the Grizzlies in the second year of every myPlayer career, so we have that to look forward to.

I hope DJ gets to stay in Chicago. Don't remember the guy ever being so happy. Forget the fact that he's playing well again.
"They definitely gave me an opportunity, and I owe them a lot," he said. "It's not always about the money. It's where you feel comfortable or where you fit. They told me they wanted me back. I definitely want to be here, and hopefully everything works out.'

The GS job is the best vacancy in sports right now tho.
After a season in which they battled over everything from pregame chapel to the timeless complaints about Griffin's acting habits to Griffin's accusation that the Warriors played "cowardly basketball," this comes as no surprise. Speights voiced his view of Paul after the Warriors' Game 2 loss in Los Angeles.
"It's not really Blake Griffin; it's all Chris Paul for real," the former Memphis Grizzlies big man said as he sat near the loading dock. "Chris Paul starts all of that stuff. Before Chris Paul came here, the team was not like that. It's just two teams going hard at each other."
So Chris Paul is a rich man's Mo Williams?
Fighting for the 8th seed year in year out isn't really all that fun. Let Dirk walk and trade Monta and let the full rebuild begin.

Did you see how Cuban tried to comfort Monta after they emptied the bench? You're not going to get rid of him.
. . .Hey…You're only halfway here, right? Who all do you support again?
Grizzlies and Rockets braw

RT @SmithRaps: Raptors have agreement in principle with Dwane Casey on a three-year deal, according to sources
I can't hate Dame as a basketball player, but for some reason I hate his fucking face. Don't know why.. . .
