there's a solid chance they can get smart at 8, kings are dumb
honestly not really
it would take a miracle for him to get past 7
though news of him having raped a woman or something atrocious before the draft wouldn't shock me
The Cleveland Cavaliers might not offer Kyrie Irving a maximum contract offer because they believe he will not accept, according to a report.
The Cavaliers reportedly do not want to look bad if Irving would decline the deal.
Irving is eligible to sign a new contract with the Cavaliers this offseason.
fucking lol
now just take that bust that is Wiggins and we're set
...sorry kjack
;_;
Kings please do it. Please.
Yep this would be fantastic. But who can they put with the pick? I assume they're keeping Isiah and McLemore?
Jimmer would have been perfect in Minnesota.

It has to be McLemore. He is the only "gooood?????" young piece they have. Probably a protected future first too.
I never underestimate a healthy Kobe. Just have talent at PG, shooters and some defense
If Kobe is healthy and we keep Young and Farmar, we should make the playoffs. Just trade the pick for an impact player
I guess I'm the only one who believes he will still be an impact player if healthy.
i think kobe will be a 20 PER high PPG low efficiency terrible defensive guy next year
I'm not really sure what that gets you in todays western conference though

konex?
What's that? Oh, I'll play too!
Who am I?
Hur hur.
I can't fault lower bowl tonight. If you live on south beach, it will take 2 hour or more to get home. It's urban week and the racist ass cops make it impossible to get to the beach. Move out of the sticks.

I think it'd be just as big as mistake to give him a max.How quickly things change. I proposed a YNB for Kyrie trade last year and got laughed out of the forum.
Fuck Kyrie.
Now I'd get laughed at because it seems so unfair the other way now.
Kobe will definitely be an impact player next season assuming he is healthy and Hollins is the coach. Iso Kobe all day every day. What kind of impact that has on the lottery standings though who knows.

I still think Kyrie can be salvaged. His vision and court awareness was NBA ready at Duke, and that's stuff you can't really teach. Compare that to somebody like Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker, it's painfully obvious that the latter players are actively reading defenses instead of intuitively responding to it, which Kyrie does well.

Bingo. Too easy.

Pete's trying to be cute. Along with doing his best to send this franchise into a whole new realm of tanking.
Besides the 8th pick, wtf else do we have that'll entice the Wolves to give up Love? You guys want Derrick Williams back? A broken Carl Landry? An emotionally fractured Jason Terry?
The only relevant question that should be being asked is in what record time did the Wolves FO hang up that phone?
If we take Smart over Ennis should both be available after 7 picks, tables will be fucking flipped.

I'd take a shot at kyrie, point guard defense matters the least and he's been stuck with a front office that surrounds him with also-rans in waiters and sub also-rans in bennett. i'd like to see him at an organization with an actual plan.

RT @WojYahooNBA: The Washington Wizards are near an agreement on a three-year contract extension with coach Randy Wittman, league sources tell Yahoo Sports.
Hahahahahahaaha

The founder of Reddit. Ouch.
Asked specifically about why he likes Brooklyn over Manhattan, Ohanian smiled a devilish grin, seeing an opening.
"I'm really biased," he replied. "For one, you are going to be closer to an actual pro basketball team that makes it to the playoffs."

They honestly think that their team is gonna be a perennial playoff team. lol

Jesus, you're grasping at straws here. No one gives a shit about The Nyets. Knicks offseason news is bigger than The Nyets being in the playoffs.

Meh, not a fan but whatever. He probably out-coached Thibs and got the most he could out of the roster really. The team we saw in the playoffs was together for what...20 games this year? We didn't even get Dre until March and Nene went down shortly after.
I'm more interested in what happens with Ernie...
The Milwaukee Bucks are not believed to have Andrew Wiggins in their top-two, preferring Joel Embiid and Jabari Parker.
But the Philadelphia 76ers have had Wiggins as their top target all season and could take him there if Embiid goes to the Cleveland Cavaliers with the top pick.
"I think he has the most star potential of anyone in the draft," one veteran NBA scout said, "and I think he goes and helps a team right away. He'll get on the floor for significant minutes right away because he can defend multiple positions. And when his offense catches up to his defense, I just don't see any way that this kid can fail. How do you pass on that if you are Cleveland? It's really the best of both worlds."
knux noooooo
RT @sam_amick: Griz going big on Dave Joerger: I'm told Memphis picked up 2016-17 team option & added another team option at increased value for 2017-18
This is getting ridiculous.

Besides the whole being an in-demand coach thing and making lots of money. Tough employment situation.
Knicks offseason news is bigger than The Nyets being in the playoffs.Only because it's such a spectacular trainwreck already.
Kerr heard the nightmarish stories, not just about Dolan, but about some of the corporate yes men and henchmen around him — and heard that some weren’t thrilled to have Jackson attempting to flex his muscle inside the organization in areas that Dolan felt were beyond the basketball operations. But the coach certainly is basketball operations, so what should that tell Jackson about his time in New York? Maybe he should ask Kerr for an honest answer about what he’d heard.
But Jackson should know by now what he is facing. Carmelo Anthony might know it, too, as well as the list of prospective free agents that were going to be assured that Jackson, with his championship legacy, was going to run the show. Kerr wouldn’t take less money to be a part of it with Dolan still nosing around and Anthony may not either.
Now, he will not only have to find an answer whether it is his former point guard, Derek Fisher, or another player who spent time with him like Luke Walton or Tyronn Lue, or former assistants like Jim Cleamons, Kurt Rambis or Bill Cartwright, but he will have to have an answer for those prospective partners, too.
Jackson will have to tell them if he is in charge, if he really is running the show at Madison Square Garden, or if he is just another star attraction in the circus at the Garden.
Beasley was never checked in mentally, a perennial underachiever. Dude had the physical gifts to be a good NBA player, he just didn't want it. Ask ph33nix yo.I think his ceiling is Mashburn (not a bad ceiling) but his floor is Michael Beasley…On or off the weed?
A non-pothead dumbass Beasley ain't too shabby.
There is an off version??
He has been pretty meh to horrible his whole career
Parker seems like a hard worker, and he has a killer instinct. Those alone are a leg up on Beasley.
Beasley was quite a bit more gifted than Parker tho..
Btw who are people's sleepers for this draft..
We all know about the top 3 plus Exum and Smart and what not.. But who do you think will be the better picks passed on because of hype or something stupid like they were a sr?
Being the homer I am..
C.J. Wilcox I think could be a good NBA player almost right away.. Dude can shoot and has great size at the 2..
Kyle Anderson his biggest problem will be defense.. but Magic couldn't play D also! (not going to be Magic)
Elfrid Payton imo is the 2nd best PG in the draft after Smart, just he played in a small school..
