The more I think on it the more I like HarrisWho do you want at 9th Dy?Man… its such a great problem to have. Everyone who really fits the positions we need is going to be sitting untouched around that area.
I think SG… Young Harris or Nik
Nik is definitely the safest pick but I really like Harris long-term. James Young doesn't really do much for me tbh.
Nik could be a real good fit for the Hornets
Getting Aff would really change your draft board me thinks…
I mean... this pick really is on house money too. Somehow Stephen Jackson turned into two top 10 picks and Ben Gordon's empty locker. We're not at the point where we have to draft for need yet and if we were gonna roll the dice on anyone at #9, I'd be completely fine with it being Harris. He's not even 19 yet and with our locker room and Stephen Silas developing him I can't think of a better situation for the kid.
Can't go wrong with Nik though. I wouldn't complain at all if we ended up with him.
Young just seems like a bigger, worse McLemore to me.
Not really. His contract is the biggest issue and its been a big reason of why Orlando's been taking offers for him over the past two years. They'll finally be able to escape Jameer's deal but Afflalo is the last big chunk of inflexible money sitting on their roster. They gotta clear minutes at the 2 for Oladipo and Harris anyways.I'd love to see us trade down with Orlando at 12. Afflalo + 12 + cornchips for Henderson + 9
If they can get exum with their first pick, maybe. But really, Aff is worth more than that, and you know it.
What pipe are you smoking?
7.5M for Aff aint that bad at all. It's slightly over priced, but not horrendously so. You'd have to do better than what you tabled for them to part with aff.
Any team but Cleveland.
Well there's a distinct possibility that the only #1 pick who turns out to be a legit HoF is the #1 pick they didn't get in these last four years. (Anthony Davis).
I'd love to see us trade down with Orlando at 12. Afflalo + 12 + cornchips for Henderson + 9
There's talk of Lee for Afflalo so they can trade Klay in a package for Love.
I hope it's false :(

Nik has mad range... and great handles for his position...
But Harris has that jump-out-the-gymbilty tm

The Golden State Warriors will dangle forward David Lee in trades – perhaps to the Orlando Magic in a deal involving guard Arron Afflalo – in order to facilitate a Kevin Love deal, according to Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group. If Love can't be had, they'd reportedly be interested in Carmelo Anthony.I feel like Barnes and Thompson would thrive in NY.
Lee could in essence be a one-year rental for the Magic. After next season, he becomes a chunky expiring contract Orlando could use. At most, two years of that $15M+ salary is probably something Orlando would swallow if it means it can book 18 and 10 every night.
Afflalo factors in if the Warriors have to move Klay Thompson. If Minnesota doesn't want Lee and the Warriors have to put together a package centered on Thompson (say Thompson, Barnes and Speights), the Warriors could be fine with that if they can send Lee to Orlando and come away with Afflalo to replace Thompson. If Love goes elsewhere, which is likely, the Warriors could package Lee and Thompson to get someone like Carmelo Anthony, then try to pull off a separate deal to get Afflalo. He plays both ends and he can shoot the 3. Plus, Love and GM Bob Myers would welcome another Bruin to the mix.

breh what you talking bout, afflalo makes 7.5 mill a year, he's less money than jeff green and tayshaun prince
its too perfect from a basketball and endorsement/media standpoint

The Wolves have been given permission to talk to Memphis coach Dave Joerger and will probably do so by the end of the week, according to a league source.I'd be alright with this.
Joerger grew up in Staples, Minn., and goes way back with Wolves president of basketball operations Flip Saunders.
Joerger as a young coach nearly 20 years ago often attended Flip's Wolves practices at Target Center and took notes.
Joerger's Grizzlies team won 50 games last season but he's currently in the middle of a mess in Memphis, where ownership suddenly fired much of its front office earlier this week
Bottom line, according to the source: Joerger wants out and Grizzlies ownership wants him out, but Joerger doesn't want to leave the rest of his multi-year contract on the table and the team doesn't want to pay him off.
Also, what the hell is happening in Memphis?

I can't wait for the epic Lebron/Waiters battle of wills over shots.
Bottom line on Joerger interview, per source: He wants out of Memphis and they want him out. He won't quit and they don't want to pay, so…Damn.
Joerger got Memphis 50 wins in a loaded West despite his best player missing 23 games. Pera's a fool.
The thing about sources is while I wouldn't doubt Joerger wants out (more multiple reasons beyond just the stuff thats happened this week) I have a hard time anyone has a source on what Pera wants. I am sure this is Levin's people saying this stuff. Could be true but could not be.
So he's gonna take the Wolves job! It all fits!Bottom line on Joerger interview, per source: He wants out of Memphis and they want him out. He won't quit and they don't want to pay, so…Damn.
This is actually the best case scenario. The Wolves are famous for nepotism and cronyism and this a guy that can actually coach that Glen Taylor would actually be comfortable with.

Wow, what a steal.
Congrats.
Joerger is a good coach who could get better but at the same time so many times we would come out for huge games flat and it was like no one gave a shit (shit that happened in game 6 happened multiple times throughout the year). I am sure that will come with experience dude is pretty good on X's and O's but that shit pissed me off to no end.
Anyway a local radio guy that is probably the most informed with the team is tweeting he finally has heard that story on what happened between Pera and Levien so maybe we will get some answers then.

Curry/Afflalo/Iggy/Love/Bogut would be an insane lineup when healthy.I just don't see any way Love is dealt to the Warriors. They have no picks and the best "asset" they have to give us is Klay Thompson who isn't that good and is also due for a pay day. Pass.

Okay, I'm still not happy, but this draft will end up not terrible if we get Marcus Smart and Kyle Anderson. Anderson can run the offense at SF while Smart can bulldoze PGs and draw fouls.

I don't want your horrible Josh Smith contract and shot selection that makes most government agencies look like well-oiled machines. I don’t want an improbable sign-and-trade deal with Greg Monroe. I don’t want any of the young players.

I'm glad that LA's only assets are Kobe, Nash, Robert Sacre and this year's pick.
Should make it nearly impossible to get Deron or Love.

Summary:
-Pera-Levein relationship went to the shitter in part cause Pera wanted to get rid of Joerger early in the year. Apparently Pera told some players (Pondexter who wasn't getting any minutes) they would play before some game Joerger didn't play them any minutes in the game and Pera was pissed. Levein told him he couldn't fire him cause of all the stuff with Hollins.
-Has nothing to do with performance apparently in a press conference after that game Joerger basically said only he will decide who will play.
-ERic Mincberg who is close with Pera and is his personal lawyer and works in the front office wanted Eric Musselman from the beginning. Has been in Pera's ear all year about how much Joerger sucks.
-Pera isn't happy about the minority owners were basically treated better than him by Levien.
-Apparently Pera has talked to people about Mike Miller about being a player coach (lol) next year
-Apparently Hollinger and Wallace support Joerger if Musselman's hired they are probably gone.
So in other words Joerger is going to be the Minnesota coach and unless Pera knows what the hell he is doing which is looking unlikely we are headed to loserbro status.

desperately hoping the Cavs take Wiggins only to realize he fucking sucks
draft hype is so inane
ridiculous vert yet he finished worse at the rim than jordan adams lawl, so glad that chump wont drop lower than 2. leaves one of parker, embidd or exum for us

I think the team could use the future Warriors pick they own to move up from 23 to wherever Anderson gets drafted
Mike Miller as player-coach sounds magical.
Pera sucks. Why the hell is he dictating playing time?
Cause he is a rich kid that bought an NBA team without any idea on what a good owner does.
Wolves really shouldn't have to give Memphis compensation for Joerger if Pera wants him gone. We're getting you out of his contract, that should be enough.

Would you give up bledsoe for Love giri? I dont know how id feel about it just yet.
Its weird to me that McD is interested in more combo guards when we have dragic, bledsoe, and goodwin already.
I also see McD gunning to trade up for that kings pick. Is charlotte going to keep theres?
