The good news is that if the Cavs select anyone other than Jabari there's a decent chance they choose another bust.
I have no confidence in Embiid for reasons that go beyond health and Wiggins simply doesn't look anywhere close to an all-star caliber prospect imo.
I also feel good for Joe and dy...there's no way Detroit deserved a pick this year with the blatant tank.
The question now is if the Jazz are dumb enough to make selections based on need and pass over Marcus Smart because I think he's the second surest thing in the draft behind Jabari.

If the Cavs are stupid enough to trade for 9 Months of Love, the league needs to contract them at this point.
Just take a guy (one of the "top 3" you fucktards) and keep it moving. Even if them being stupid would potentially benefit the Sixers. Their incompetence is making me mad at this point...like come the fuck on already.

Jabari has been who I've wanted all season. But Cleveland teams never do the right thing, in fact we do the CRAZY thing.
I'm collecting all of the disappointment gifs I'll need already.

Smart is an awful fit there tho. Even if you dont like Burke..Smart is basically A slightly rich mans Alec Burks...who they have. Jabari also might be a shitty fit for the Cavs too as he needs the ball and Kyrie and Dion aren't about that life. At least Wiggins bitchassness would be hidden a bit there.
Guess it's time to watch Julius Randle mixtapes….oh joy.
Don't cry for me, I'm already dead.
What number will Marcus Smart wear on the Lakers?
I don't understand the Smart hate. He probably played on one of the worst D1 rosters I've ever seen, has stupid high free throw rate, great steal rate, fantastic defensively...
I mean yeah, he has roid rage and wasn't incredibly efficient, but I think his stroke looks fine and I see those percentages rising quickly once he plays with players at or above his caliber in the NBA, along with increased court spacing.
I have no trust in Exum. I can't draft you that high based off of euro tape.
My top 5 least likely to bust:
1. Jabari
2. Smart

3. Embiid
4.Gary Harris
5. Nik Stauskas

With another Cleveland #1*, I don't know who would be happier the Cavs or the Bucks.
*barring a trade, of course.

It's really two #1 picks if you trade with Cleveland because I'm sure Bennett will be in any deal.
Bennett, Thompson and #1 for Love

Pretty sure they don't have to pick it up until year 3 or whatever.
Wiggins and Thomspson would be fun to pair with Rubio, Pek and Dieng. Much better defensively toon

when has drafting incredibly inefficient college players worked out?
smarts TS% was good due to free throw rate
Michael Carter Williams was legendarily inefficient in college

and he still is inefficient tho.
he was simply the least ugly girl in the club this year.
MCW only shot 40% this year.when has drafting incredibly inefficient college players worked out?

I'd call his jumper broken. He's not consistent and turns his body mid motion, it's ugly. Don't trust his ball handling or playmaking skills, looks rough. His attitude is a problem too.
The one thing I like about him is his desire to post up PGs and he has good size.
Oh shit he's basically Wall 2.0 but bigger and meaner. No wonder you like him.
he's not even close to Wall in terms of playmaking and court vision, they aren't similar prospects any any respect actually
his main attribute is defense and Hardening other PG's to death--he's going to be a fucking nightmare to defend in his 3rd of 4th year once he gets acclimated to the league.
he's going to be the harden of pg's imo

..I'm not sold, but Wall improved his jumper (in the regular season) so I guess I'll see and what choice do I have really?
In like three or four years, Vonleh could be a very good defender who can stretch the floor at PF.
But he's not going to be a star :(
But he's not Aaron Gordon either so please, please take Vonleh or Smart.

Did anyone listen to Reggie on Dan Patrick? He had a rebuttal for Jalen's comment on Grantland (about Reggie never standing up for him).
Smart is pretty much CP3+Harden+Bosh+LeBron in terms of flopping:

Now I know why DY is celebrating. His team made the playoffs and they get a top 10 pick. :wow:
Horncats get a top 10 pick and made the playoffs?breh
grats dy
BREH
if we don't sip our kooliad instead of handling business against boston, we dodge Miami and nobody is even talking about how bethany beal is on the come up. this year....
we fuckin made it
got a top 10 pick, portland's late pick, money to blow in free agency, one of the best coaches in the league, cho making scrubs signings look like jerry west backroom deals
thank you cleveland
you just fucked everyone for us. thank you so fucking much
we're the only playoff team selecting in the lottery omg
We aren't taking Gordon and I think more productive ways of expressing despair and hatred could be performed instead.
Who do you want at 9th Dy?Man... its such a great problem to have. Everyone who really fits the positions we need is going to be sitting untouched around that area.
I think SG… Young Harris or Nik
Nik is definitely the safest pick but I really like Harris long-term. James Young doesn't really do much for me tbh.
According the the Los Angeles Daily News, via the International Business Times, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to trade a first-round draft pick in exchange for a star player, with the lead target being Love and a secondary target being Deron Williams.as if it couldn't get any worse.
the dark age is truly upon us.

YISSS
ALL OVER MY CHEST
I'd love to see us trade down with Orlando at 12. Afflalo + 12 + cornchips for Henderson + 9
If they can get exum with their first pick, maybe. But really, Aff is worth more than that, and you know it.
Not really. His contract is the biggest issue and its been a big reason of why Orlando's been taking offers for him over the past two years. They'll finally be able to escape Jameer's deal but Afflalo is the last big chunk of inflexible money sitting on their roster. They gotta clear minutes at the 2 for Oladipo and Harris anyways.I'd love to see us trade down with Orlando at 12. Afflalo + 12 + cornchips for Henderson + 9

LOL if they trade a first-round pick for broken Deron. They'd be spending over $40 million on a zombie backcourt.According the the Los Angeles Daily News, via the International Business Times, the Los Angeles Lakers are looking to trade a first-round draft pick in exchange for a star player, with the lead target being Love and a secondary target being Deron Williams.as if it couldn't get any worse.

Getting Aff would really change your draft board me thinks...
