According to real gm the Knicks have traded or swapped 13 1st rounders in the last 27 years, I really do hope they win the lottery. Only maximum embarrassment can help bring about change.God you are so broken why don't you go cry in the corner? Sack up man.
1988 - 11th overall pick went to Bulls in a swap of picks via the Charles Oakley trade. Bulls took Will Perdue. Knicks grabbed Rod Strickland at No. 19.
1989 - No. 22 pick went to Blazers (Byron Irvin) via Kiki Vandeweghe trade.
1993 - No. 26 pick went to Orlando (Geert Hammink) via 3-team trade (Clippers) for Charles Smith and Doc Rivers.
1995 - No. 24 pick went to Mavericks (Loren Meyer) via Rolando Blackman trade.
1998 - No. 16 pick went to Rockets (Bryce Drew) from Blazers, originally from Chris Dudley trade.
2000 - Acquired No. 18 pick from Raptors in Dudley trade, then flipped it later to 76ers for rights to Mirsad Turckan.
2001 - No. 18 pick went to Rockets (Jason Collins), originally to Suns in Luc Longley trade.
2002 - No. 7 pick (Nene) went to Nuggets via Antonio McDyess trade.
2004 - No. 16 pick (Kirk Snyder) went to Jazz, originally to Suns in Stephon Marbury trade.
2006 - No. 2 pick (LaMarcus Aldridge) went to Bulls in Eddy Curry trade.
2007 - No. 9 pick (Joakim Noah) went to Bulls as swap in Curry trade. Used No. 23 to take Wilson Chandler.
2010 - No. 9 pick (Gordon Heyward) went to Jazz, via Suns, via Marbury trade.
2012 - No. 16 pick went to Rockets (Royce White) via Jared Jeffries/Jordan Hill salary dump trade.
2014 - Lottery pick goes to Magic (Dwight Howard trade) via Nuggets via Carmelo Anthony trade.
Those last 10 years...
Apparently there is zero point in getting the number 1 pick since only 2 have won titles with the team that drafted them since the lottery and they both are Spurs
You have a bad memory.
Shaq wanted to come here, Dwight too. We got Ron Artest on what was at the time a cheap deal because he wanted to be here. Nash wanted to come to LA.
Kevin L
Nash wanted to get paid lol.

At the time I think it was beneficial all around. He got Phoenix some picks and allowed them to move on, he got to be closer to his kids and was under the impression that he could chase a ring and LA got what they thought was a good PG.

Robinson and Duncan i presume?
Doesn't particularly look good for the active #1s. They either already left, play for shitty franchises and will leave sooner or later or are not talented enough.
Rose was the best bet :(

I might quit the NBA if the Cavs get another #1 pick.it's more likely the bucks will given their recent sale.
In an NBA conspiracy theorist world that is.
I might quit the NBA if the Cavs get another #1 pick.I need just one more, without Chris Grant making idiotic picks.
Nicky G isn't going this year. Louie CK is.

It pains me to think about Gerald Wallace being passed around the league like a cheap whore on draft night but... at least Crash died a Bobcat.

New #Cavs GM David Griffin will represent team on stage at lottery May 20. No word on if he'll do the Johnny Manziel money gesture.

#Cavs vice chariman Jeff Cohen will be in room where #NBA lottery is held. Neither Dan Gilbert (nor Nick Gilbert) will attend.

Dear Basketball Gods, it's me Knux.
Let me experience true joy for once. It's all I ask. I'd even be cool with whoever we draft bailing in 7 or so years...just give me the chance to watch my FO actually fuck up a great situation for once.
pls

Yeah, I bet the Cavs wish they never drafted Lebron.
