Celtics getting #5 again
smh that 2 game winning streak the last week of the season, would have had 3rd worst record
Bucks get #1 , even if they didn't have the worst record, they just sold the team, last time that happened was the Pelicans landing the #1 pick
if Cavs get top 3 wow

As long as we get 4th or better, the season was a success. 5th or 6th would be a disaster though. Vonleh has a chance to be a good player down the line, but the Jazz need a potential superstar, not just a potentially very good player.
All I ask for is a top 3 pick (and to not lose the Pelicans pick). Just don't DY me and have us fall to 5.
All of those players should be sixth men at best.Adams will be a solid starting center for years. He looks very good already and he's only 20.
Lakers 2nd? fuck that im not happy
I don't give a shit if we pick behind Utah, as long as they don't pick Exum.
So Adams is decent but Trey sucks right? All of those players should be sixth men at best.Adams will be a solid starting center for years. He looks very good already and he's only 20.
So…
1: 76'ers
2: Lakers
3: Jazz
Everyone happy?
I want to see a 1993 draft repeat and the Suns getting #1
fuck all those tanking teams.

LA didn't tank, we died.
Kobe, Pau, nash all hurt. Nick Young, Farmar, Kaman, Marshall, Hill, Xavier all got hurt. I think Wes and Sacre were the only ones who were healthy all year.
To be fair the standard for "solid starting center" is pretty low, Kostas Koufos would qualified as one.LOLAll of those players should be sixth men at best.Adams will be a solid starting center for years. He looks very good already and he's only 20.
That's true. Maybe, but FA will flock to you anyway, let other franchises have them for their rookie contract.

I need young talent to hype and overvalue!
Gondo can't have all the fun!
Sorry I didn't list your guy, I got halfway down the list and almost went into a coma from the mediocrity. So Adams is decent but Trey sucks right? All of those players should be sixth men at best.Adams will be a solid starting center for years. He looks very good already and he's only 20.
I need young talent to hype and overvalue!Adams was a great pick, especially at #12. Lots of teams would like to have a 20 year-old center with his athleticism, toughness, and composure. Dude played 40 minutes on the road in a series clinching game in the Western Conference. And played great too.

You'll get Randle and you're gonna like it.

You see Dipro!
I need to be able to classify a 10point 11rebound in 40 minutes game as great! I need it!
I think the idea that free agents will flock to LA no matter what is a fallacy
The fact is they've drafted GOAT talent when the opportunities were there. It remains how to be seen how the franchise would look if they were unable to do the same again.
I mean despite the market the clips never got anyone amazing until they got Blake. The Knicks have prestige and market and yet never got/get jack shit. Boston--Paul rotted there for years without help.
What was the last team that free agented their way completely to a dynasty in the NBA? The heat drafted a superstar in Wade. Detroits one of the only teams in recent memory I can think of.
tldr version: lakers heading to bucks tier obscurity without drafting a star

So…
1: 76'ers
2: Lakers

I would be.
The Buck probably would get Embiid in this scenario. Magic get their boy Smart
everybody wins.
I'll be happy as long as most of the talent goes to the East.
West is too tough already. Time for the pendulum to swing back the other way.

You have a bad memory.
Shaq wanted to come here, Dwight too. We got Ron Artest on what was at the time a cheap deal because he wanted to be here. Nash wanted to come to LA.
Kevin Love is rumored to want to come here. Embiid tweeted about how bad he wants to live in LA.
John Wall doesn't have a house out here cause it's terrible to live here.
Also, the knicks do not have prestige. They're a joke, and squandered their geographical advantage much like The Clippers until recently with terrible FO moves.
with buss dead nobody can say if your FO is still elite despite mitch da god being there
and yea, the Shaq thing was definitely a legit ima go to LA just for my music / prestige thing
all that other stuff is nonsense though--Dwight always preferred Brooklyn, Artest wanted to go to LA because rings, and Love just wants to be in a great situation TODAY, not tomorrow, he wants instant success.

Can't teach dat jumpouttadagyability yo.
But I want him, Parker, Exum and maybe Embiid (super scared of bigmen with injuries). I honestly just don't want to fall to 5 where Randle becomes the "prize".
Wiggins fits with what we are trying to do best however.

Dwight preferred Brooklyn but was only open to 1 other team, LA. That's why we got him for Andrew fucking Bynum, Josh McRoberts,Christian Eyenga, 1 conditional 1st rounder and 1 conditional 2nd rounder.. Things fell apart here and it was clear LA couldn't compete in the near future. He left, whatever.
Artest wanted to come to LA for rings and increased fame. He was on tv and radio more in his few years here than his entire career prior. He was also trying to launch a rap career. He actually still fills in for ESPNLA from time to time.
If KLove wants instant success there's zero reason he should have LA/NY at the top of his list.
The experiment failed, but you can't deny the power move that was get CP3/Lose CP3/Get Dwight/Get Nash. Which was less Dr.Buss than people are willing to admit, the same reason why they try to pin Mike Brown and Mike D on Jim when it was Jerry who had the final say. They want to think Dr.Buss was without flaw and he had an idiot son who would run LA into the ground. It's a fun narrative but it's pretty far from what's happening.
Guess on what each would do at #1:
Bucks: Wiggins
76ers: Embiid (A Morey guy is going to check the $tat$ and Embiid's stats are way better than Wiggins)
Magic: Wiggins
Jazz: Embiid
Celtics: Embiid
Lakers: Embiid
Assuming Embiid's back scans come back good.

The only way the Wolves lose their pick is if the Suns win. They have .5% chance, so that's obviously happening.

He's going to be andre miller in a few years.

thats a positive in my book
drops 20ppg as a freshmen in that dookie system while completely overweight like it wasn't nothin
imagine if he gets in shape
According to real gm the Knicks have traded or swapped 13 1st rounders in the last 27 years, I really do hope they win the lottery. Only maximum embarrassment can help bring about change.

But he is apparently even more so out of shape now..that's why he bailed on the combine.
It seems like dudes from chicago can only be 3 things. Chief Keef, Cyborgs like DRose, or Emos.
Jabari is looking might Evan Turner like right now man.
I'd take him but he fatness is worrying..I mean it would make the HGH use obvious
Since drafting Anthony Davis, the Pelicans have acquired $133mil in contracts between Gordon, Jrue and Tyreke. Gordon has 2 years left and Tyreke/Jrue have 3 years left.
And there's a chance they'll lose their pick tonight.
And there's a chance they'll lose their pick tonight.
Who should Cavs take with the number 1 pick?
I haven't watched college ball at all this year but Simmons said Embiid is kind of like Hakeem so I want him.

Depressing when you think about how much our new ownership has squandered the long term.
Our team healthy could make noise: A budding superstar Davis with Jrue(who surprised me with his play), Anderson and Evans with a solid bench.
But the alternative was so much smarter. Keep Noel, trade Anderson when it was clear he wasn't the best fit with Davis and his value was high, tank the season, grab either Wiggins or Parker and then fill the team with smart role players and once you figure out the needs of your core group, then go after a couple big money guys.
EDIT: I'm sorry 4% chance.
Who should Cavs take with the number 1 pick?Embiid. Easily.

Wiggins has more question marks than people would have you believe.
I'd even take Jabari over him.
EAD JR.
Edit: Dude below me got like 2 likes and a ton of clowning from people calling him a moron.

I have nothing against you man...but we need that pick..it will soothe the burn of getting owned by the tank lords tonight
at least then I can attempt to talk myself into hyping up two rookies
