Melo said he is willing to take a cut.too many words for some obvious shit
Phil propped up Kerr in order to get everybody excited and Kerr said well shit, might as well get paid in a great situation
there's really no way around the fact that Phil got played on some rough shit by Kerr
quite frankly its embarrassing and I'd be really concerned if I were Melo
yea but when has phil ever been about tank life though
True, but him asking Melo to take a pay cut when we all know Melo ain't about that life doesn't really scream immediate contender either.
He needs to go try winning a chip. He ain't doing that here.
wiggins photo is fucking unreal
almost 6'6 in shoes gonna have the second best vert after Wiggins and is money in the shooting drills thus far
yall heard it here first
Zach LaVine measured 6' 4.25" in socks. 6' 5.75" in shoes. 6' 8.25" wing. 8' 4" standing reach. 180 pounds.
A couple scouts told me names that surprised & impressed them today: Cleanthony Early, Zach LaVine, Glenn Robinson III.

remember when shane larkin had the best vert in last year's combineremember when luke babbitt had the same vert as blake griffin in the combine
RT @TrailBlazersPR: Trail Blazers sign Head Coach Terry Stotts to a multi-year contract extension. #RipCity
RT @TrailBlazersPR: Trail Blazers sign Head Coach Terry Stotts to a multi-year contract extension. #RipCityHe earned it .
Can't argue against him.
And it's hard to argue that he got completely out coached in the semis. Some of that was just on the players falling apart.
Yeah, he got outcoached, but most many do by Pop. He's still a relatively young head coach in this league and he's extremely savvy, so I have faith that he'll improve. He definitely isn't afraid to make adjustments as needed.
RT @TrailBlazersPR: Trail Blazers sign Head Coach Terry Stotts to a multi-year contract extension. #RipCityeh, probably can't ask for a better coach in the blazer's current position. i'm not sold on stotts after watching pop dismember the team, but you can't put it all on him. i saw a solid offensive scheme, decent ability to make adjustments as he got more familiar with the team, and the players seem to like him a lot.

I mean, some of it was just on the players. There were plenty of passes thrown to no one. And the entry passes to LMA were generally terrible. Some of thats on the coach, some on the players.
The main thing is, i think chopping and changing coaches all the time is folly. Unless the coach has lost the locker room, or is obviously limited... you're probably better off sticking with them.
Glenn Robinson III is aiming for a 47 inch vert so I don't know if LaVine or Wiggins will beat that.
Too bad he's Harrison Barnes bad at basketball.

Rumour saying Melo wants Mark Jackson. Here we go.
A source with knowledge of the situation said last month that Carmelo Anthony would embrace the opportunity to play for Mark Jackson. Anthony plans to test free agency in July. Bringing in a coach that he’d like to play for would certainly boost the Knicks’ chances of keeping him.
While the logical move would be to bring in someone that appeases Carmelo, I’m not sure if Jackson is ready to surrender that type of power right off the bat. Unless, of course, Jackson really wants Mark to be the next coach of the Knicks without it looking like a total “default move.
Phil struck out in his first at-bat, maybe it’s Melo’s turn to take a swing.

You don't think Big Dog 3 has better tools than Barnes?
Barnes has at least shown flashes of being a competent basketball player who understood the concepts of what to do, when to shoot, where to be, and who to pass to. GR3 is basically a poor man's Tyrus Thomas.

GR3 has a pretty good handle for a wing tho...
Deron Williams said on Thursday that he anticipates needing surgery on both of his ankles "just to clean stuff out."
He has an MRI set for Friday and it sounds as if surgery is imminent, although he did mention it will not be "anything major." Williams acknowledged that his ankles affected his play this season, especially during the Nets 4-1 series loss to the Heat where he averaged only 11.2 points. "I feel like I've kind of let people down, so I don't like feeling like that," he said. "I used to step on the court and feel like I was the best player no matter who I played against, so I gotta get back to that." Nets fans and fantasy owners alike hope offseason surgery can help Williams return to all-NBA form.
The road to being Deron Webber for real begins...
I actually wanted him to get that done last offseason when it was first brought up but he decided to just rest, which really didn't work out. He ended up needing regular injections during the season instead. Glad he's finally getting it taken care of now.

Jordan Adams with a terrible 29.5 inch max vert. That's really bad for a guard.
Thanks for stating the obvious, Chad!
