Minnesota rejected #1 overall, Waiters, and Tristan Thompson for Kevin Love last summer. Lol how shitty that draft was last year. Can't blame em. I'd take the #1 pick in a trade for the upcoming draft though. Can't see KLove staying unless they make the WCF next season or something so they should be looking for a nice package for him.

I can't see KLove bolting randomly though. Minny will offer him w/e he wants. So he'd only move for "winning". Which is tricky when you also want to get paid.
I think there's a good chance he stays tbh.
But he's been complaining about losing for a while now, right? He'd be unrestricted next summer so a playoff team could offer the max as well so leaving Minnesota's offer on the table wouldn't hurt as much depending on where he goes.Minnesota rejected #1 overall, Waiters, and Tristan Thompson for Kevin Love last summer. I mean, Love hasn't been in the playoffs a single season and he's turning 26, Rubio hasn't been developing very quickly and Minnesota isn't gonna draw any major free agents. Unless Rubio takes a huge step soon I'm not sure if the Wolves can be more than fringe playoff teams especially in the west with Phoenix, New Orleans and Portland on the rise as well as some tanking teams that might get some talent in the draft(Utah,Nuggets,Kings).
Then again, the west is so competitive these days that he could get traded to a playoff team and still get bounced in the second round.
idk

My point is, most play off teams can't just offer him a Max. Most are at the cap.
The fringe teams
NOLA - Can't. They'll have 56M committed - Gordon is going to take his player option @ 15M.
Suns - Going to have to re-sign Bledsoe first. That will change things the most. And Dragic's salary that next year is a player option. I'm assuming he opts out if he's un-injured. That'll put them ~ 35M at best. They're realistically the most likely contender.
Portland will have to re-sign or renounce, LMA, Matthews, Lopez. And before they re-sign those guys, they'd be at 27M. after resigning them, they'd be close to 50/55M after those 3 re-sign. Which assuming the cap will be around 65M, gives them only 10M...
A real dark horse team is the raptors. They only have 3 players commited to the 15/16 season, Val, Ross, Derozan. Depends how stuff works with Amir / Lowry before hand, but they're in a good spot to make a run.
I mean, teams can obviously change stuff before then, and set themselves up to make a run at him as a UFA, but ... risk. Ideally he'd need to force a trade. But if i'm the twolves, i trade him for best package obviously.
And i say risk with Love cause i'm still not convinced he's a first option guy. I think he's much like Pau was. A really good second banana but not really a first option.
That is why he's coming to Philly to play with yo.

I know a guy who seriously thinks we will sign LeBron this offseason. Phillysports are no joke man. It does shit to your brain.

Embiid's back must be fucked and Parker must have went on a donut binge after leaving Duke. Damn Chicagians and their feels.
I think that's a mistake for Jabari. If he can work hard getting in shape and shed some weight then I think his combine numbers would actually look pretty good. It'd be hard to pass him up at #1 if he pulls a Barnes and surprises you with his explosiveness, because clearly he's got can't miss talent offensively. And I think beneath that fat is an above average athlete.
Hopefully Parker gets on that NBA training course (or HGH if that's what you believe). He will definately need it.
I just want the lottery to get here so I can begin to hate on players we won't be able to get..

Second, the coach must be able to coexist with Bryant. The Bryant-D’Antoni relationship deteriorated to the point where the pair barely spoke by the end of their tenure together. Even in D’Antoni’s first season in L.A., when the Lakers still managed to win 28 of their final 40 games to make the playoffs, there was conflict.
Bryant would often use the Lakers’ shootaround time to receive treatment in the training room. When D’Antoni thought this was causing a disconnect between Bryant and his teammates, the coach asked the star guard to change his routine, according to a league source. As a compromise, Bryant still often used shootaround for treatment, only he had the training table brought out next to the practice court so he was physically present, technically, during the sessions. After playing such a long time at an elite level, it was understandable for Bryant to need extra time to get his body ready, but it led to occasions on the court where the team would be executing one way based on adjustments made during shootaround that morning – and Bryant would be executing another.
Kobe is the best teammate.

Were Rockettes fans talking? Not sure if that Rox loss is much worse than getting every single facet of your game embarrassingly exposed in the playoffs tho.
Sorry, can't hear you.
Not sure if that Rox loss is much worse than getting every single facet of your game embarrassingly exposed in the playoffs tho.Didn't you say Rockets in 5?
Also, this idea that ISO-heavy with drunkass James Harden Rockets team would fare any better is lol.
If Wesley and Batum can't keep up with Tony, Manu, and Marco, what the fuck do all of you think would happen to Jeremy and Harden?
The Knicks have won 3 of their last 4 against the Spurs. I'm just saying…Portland has the best record against the Spurs during the regular season the past six seasons at 14-7 (Miami is second at 10-8, including playoffs). What were you saying?
If Harden wasn't drunk though G1-4, we wouldn't have this conversation. Also, the Rox wouldn't beat those Spurs in a series, but we would at least get multiple close games. Even high, Harden would probably shit on the Spurs like always does. Not sure if that Rox loss is much worse than getting every single facet of your game embarrassingly exposed in the playoffs tho.Didn't you say Rockets in 5?

That's a lot of "what-ifs" and "this would happen" from someone that couldn't get the last series right, so why would you be right this time around? If Harden wasn't drunk though G1-4, we wouldn't have this conversation. I'm not a fool for thinking that the Rockets would win that series. Again, not many people excepted McHail and especially Harden to fuck it up that badly for the Rockets (except for Rox fans ); not to discredit the Blazers tho. Although I hate ISO Harden, it does work quite often and would be a great weapon against the Spurs, but I am indeed just speculating here. That's a lot of "what-ifs" and "this would happen" from someone that couldn't get the last series right, so why would you be right this time around? If Harden wasn't drunk though G1-4, we wouldn't have this conversation. BTW, I never gave predictions for the 1st round although I though the Rox would win the series.
I honestly believe the Rockets match up worse against the Spurs than the Blazers do.
I mean... Jeremy Lin versus Patty, Manu, Marco off the bench? Terrence Jones versus Diaw? How is that any better? Spurs also have the personnel to deal with Dwight better than Portland ever could. Wtf is an injured Beverly gonna do against Tony Parker when he's playing this well?
And James Harden is who he is right now, until he proves that he's not a drunkard, this is what you'll see from him in the playoffs. He's now shot below 40% in three straight playoff series (17 games): 2012 Finals (37.5%, 5 games), 2013 first round (39%, 6 games), 2014 first round (37.6%, 6 games).
What makes everyone think that James Harden is a playoff player?

Apparently that was your super bowl 8-)
I'd rather go out like that then get undressed multiple times by double digits and on the verge of a sweep.
McHale is the primary reason y'all won that series. They had multiple double digit leads in every game except g2 I believe. Mchales refusal to do anything until game 3 on LMA had some of y'all talking about a blazers finals and a spam of didyouknow images from you
You'd rather have your team go fishing 10 days early? Okay. That's some moral victory shit right there 8-)
