Burnout Paradise was awesome. Loved gown you could jump online instantly. So in for the rumored remaster.

Got one of my 360s to read discs again but if the tray is empty it won't open unless I slam the top. Got me nostalgic about tech of the past like that.
I DLed King of Fighters '96 on a whim because I never really played that one, had $10 in my PSN wallet and a craving for some KoF.
This was the first one to introduce the roll dodge and everyone having short-range projectikes. Development was kind of troubled and it shows in how a lot of the hit priorities & boxes are set. There's a bit of jank in how characters react, and some animations aren't as well fleshed out as they would be in later entries. But these games are still endlessly playable. This is the foundation of what KoF 98 became and if videogames stopped forever at that point it might have been okay. I'm not sure there's ever been anything better than that, I hope SNK puts up a port of Ultimate Match rather than just letting Hamster put up another bare bones Neo Geo port for that one.
