i dunno how it is on console but on pc @ 60 fps i thought the witcher 3 controlled fine--there was a thing i ticked on in the options that made it feel better but i dont remember exactly what it was

You can mostly avoid the lengthy combat sequences and get lost in the absurdly intricate world and quest lines, which is what I did. I'm sure I wouldnt have enjoyed if I tried to play it like Bayonetta.

The controls in kz2 actually weren't trash though. They just took some getting used to, like playing any Resident Evil does.
For a fps, the movement actually had legit sway when turning corners and strafing around cover. What it lacked in twitch, it made up for in precision. You could actually fire from the hip, feel the recoil, and crouch to increase accuracy, all in one smooth continuous transition. Once the muscle memory coalesced and synchronized with the input lag, it actually felt really fine-tuned as you became immersed in its mechanics.
Kz2 was honestly like a first person gears of war without the melee chainsaw.

RE had tank controls but it's somewhat responsive.
The input lag in kz2 was greatly exaggerated because everybody was coming from call of duty modern warfare.

One thing that annoys me about the Siege community is how quick they are to write off a new map as bad just because it's new and they don't understand how to play it properly. I remember when Border came out, I thought it was great within a week and the majority of people didn't start liking it till it became a main map in the pro league.
