i certainly am. i get like 30 minutes to an hour of non switch playing time a week and i need instant fun. if i have to read a lot to know how to play i would make one turn in two month.
civ and paradox stuff like hearts of iron are no problem for me--i think the fantasy space aesthetic (was expecting more alpha centaurai) was a big turn off.
though tbf civ has had the advantage of a 20 year head start

By blackace Go To PostNot sure if I liked it yet.. lolNever played one of the 3 titles, but the trilogy pack for 30 bucks seems like a good choice.
Pretty hard to find someone that actually played it though :P

I feel you brehs
I used an auto OC tool for the first time ever, kibner style. Went and made a sandwich while it was doing it's thing.
Felt good man

overclocking manually is something you do because auto-oc doesn't exist or because you just like the experience of manually overclocking
e: also, what tool did you run?

I used the Asus' software, AI Suite. Those also control my chassis fans.
By Mariosalic Go To PostSmokey is 100% a casual now.
I don't have a switch, so not 100% m8
By Laboured Go To PostTell me more about this AI Suite stuff Smokey. Nice and simple as fuck?
It's an old suite that still works with my old rampage iv board. I think newer boards have the auto option included in the BIOS itself.
The Xol boss fight in Destiny 2 was a cool spectacle for the first couple times, but I can see it being a tedious and unfun challenge in the future. Same thing with a lot of that game. *sigh*

Well, one of Nintendo's biggest challenge is that casuals are not buying the platform yet. It's just a bunch of 20 something nerds.
By Mariosalic Go To Posti certainly am. i get like 30 minutes to an hour of non switch playing time a week and i need instant fun. if i have to read a lot to know how to play i would make one turn in two month.Sounds more like poor time management than age tho.... I do know that as responsibilities grow gaming time goes away but I am still finding time to read
By Red Blaster Go To Postciv and paradox stuff like hearts of iron are no problem for me–i think the fantasy space aesthetic (was expecting more alpha centaurai) was a big turn off.Endless Space 2 is very close to if Master of Magic and Alpha Centaurai had a love child... if you can deal with Paradox gaming (which I like so it isn't a knock) then you should enjoy Endless once you get the basics down

I wouldn't know how to to save time if i don't wanna be a bad father or husband.
By Mariosalic Go To PostI wouldn't know how to to save time if i don't wanna be a bad father or husband.I usually play before bed after the fam goes to bed for an hour or two... and every now and again I sneak time in during naptime...
SFV went down for maintenance all day and came back up with a 13.4 gb patch, 1 hr to dl...>_>
By DY_nasty Go To Postlfk this grind is absurd :/ gonna have to throw in the towelYou talking about Valkyria II? Yeah, I’m pretty much done with it too.

In G’s Dangerous President V-trigger, he yells out “President Power!” while performing an exploding body slam on his opponent.

Is there a general canon for whether Spidermans web is a superpower or technology?
Feel like I've seen it both ways, maybe superpower in the raimi films and tech in the MCU
Can you crawl up buildings in the game or do you have to do the full sprint?

By Hitch Go To PostIs there a general canon for whether Spidermans web is a superpower or technology?I believe the general canon is that Peter built the webshooters. It was a superpower in the Raimi films and tech in the MCU movie. idk about the TASM movies.

You can crawl in Spiderman PS4, can hang from ceilings too.
By joefu Go To Posti get offended if someone calls me a gamer lolI'd get depressed if that is something I want to be classified as.
Now that I think about it, people I know who post stuff like this on social media and dumbass libertarian politics seem to be at a 1:1 ratio.
By HasphatsAnts Go To Postlol this is me anytime somebody refers to themselves as a "gamer" unironically:The other day my irl buddies and I were discussing how in spite of a ton of us being gamers it's not how we make friends and if someone was to identify as one it usually puts us off.
It’s early going, but G seems completely broken. He’s like if they gave Q from SF III fireballs and SNK boss moves. Remember how Q got stronger after 3 taunts? He has a thing called president level that’s basically the same thing, but it gives you infinite EX moves until you get knocked over. You can cancel into the charge for it off a knockdown.

I don't understand the reverence for RDR.
The first game was good but outstays its welcome after Mexico, I recall running around making pelts failing at poker and doing pointless standard Rockstar busy work.
