The Vita is still getting releases. Same with the 3DS. Things are definitely winding down on that front though, hard to say Switch isn't the best long term investment at this point.

I barely brought my 3DS or DS out of the house but there’s something about the switch that just makes it so nice to bring around. I had a blast using it on my recent trip. Set it up on the hori stand and used my pro controller to play for hours. Granted this was on a plane ride but depending on the game it has a decent battery life. Like my power bank which isn’t quick charging took a little longer to charge while Mario Odyssey compared to Shovel Knight.

They crashed into each other, he jumped across and got 1-shotted. Then he had to wait in a ghost-lobby or something until the encounter was done and I turned it off.

It looks like you can always still do stuff in SoT. It remains to be seen if the setback for dying or getting your shit destroyed/stolen is as soul crushingly bad as in ARK where it can set you back weeks.
