By Smokey Go To PostDamnit. I was thinking hard about this.It feels more responsive than most, but you can definitely tell.
It's a 30fps game but doesn't feel like it, right?
e: it's also a ps4 exclusive and cheap, so why not?
By livefromkyoto Go To PostSo I love bikes, I’d buy an Aprilia or an MV Augusta if I thought there was a chance I wouldn’t insta-murder myself. But the last slightly sim bike racer I got was Moto GP on PS3 and I could barely control it enough make it through a race so I held off here. I’ll check it out soon. It's arcadey enough that you don't have to worry about wiping out super easily.
Not sure I like the removal of mods as loot in Division 2
Surely means that everyone will end up using the same attachments as there will be a best in class for each category
Plus it leaves just armour and weapons as loot drops unless they introduce something else, and in the first one it already felt as though the marginal gains came to a standstill pretty quickly in the post game
You could easily play 5 or so hours with absolutely nothing to show for it

By rvy Go To Postthought ME1 was betteri dont care what they say rvy
way buggier, less polished in general but more ambitious
you're a good one
Both of them are 10/10
I played ME1 when it had already aged fairly badly, but it was still brilliant if you know what I mean

By Hitch Go To PostBoth of them are 10/10mass effect 2 is what killed the franchise, not 3. 3 was just the byproduct from a collection of bad ideas and dead ends
VF5 got me out here practicing a combo like I would for a lick in a song. Ten times in a row perfectly or it don't count.
By DY_nasty Go To Postmass effect 2 is what killed the franchise,
umm what
me2 is highly regarded. 3s even more action focused gameplay combined with that fukkery ending was it. when devs have to release dlc to atone for the trash ending to a trilogy, you know they fucked up.
By Smokey Go To Postumm whatme2 was low key more jank than 1 - and they covered it up by turning it all into a corridor shooter and neutering damn near all of the rpg elements of the game. the best thing they did was add in ability combos and they believed in enemy design. that's about all i give them. just about everything after that is where the series left the rails.

i don't even think enough people played 3. the biggest complaint about 3 was the ending when the majority of the game was plagued with issues that were all more or less from me2.
its also where the plot went completely off the rails but that's a whole other nerd out thing i ain't trying to do again
Yea ME1 so much better than ME2. ME1 felt like it had a purpose.
We live in age where we need to start judging games after release because of patches.
By s y Go To PostI heard GT sport is in a really good spot right now.

one of the best experiences just dropping down to a planet and figuring it the fuck out
do we improve upon that? no. launch fucking probes and bring space magic to gears of shepard.
me3? we got your feedback. now you explore space like pacman

ME1 was so great. 2 was disappointing from what I remember. The giant terminator skeleton boss thing was lmao
Beat the pro tour, only legendary left. ITS HARD. Some of these hyper cars are ridiculous to keep on the road.
That’s the case for every GAAS. Reviews are so utterly worthless for them unless the core gameplay or engine suck. There are so many games that ended up being awesome sitting there with a 78 metacritic because they didn’t have enough content at launch - even though they inevitably end up with more content than every other type of game.

I’ll never understand what people see in that game. ME1 is more of an RPG but if that’s not your thing, ME3 does everything better aside from story, which ME2 wins by default since it didn’t even have one
I actually quite liked ME3 other than the ending. I just think the negativity over its ending is so all encompassing that people assume the game that comes before it was shit when it wasn't.

I didn't even get to the ending, which I did in both me1 and me2. It really was a bit shit. The worst of all were those dream sequences with the boy, fucking hell fuck off. I played my guy as a heartless space nazi, why would he care that much about that boy. It really felt like your choices mattered less than ever.
Me3 to a much bigger extend felt like every mission and side mission was the same template copy pasted, and the story just seemed to be scratching the same concepts again and again.

What it means, if you were paying attention Wooden, is that any innocent young lad can become a marauding space nazi if he makes the wrong choices in life. You of all people should appreciate this lesson.
ME1 had good elements that you want to see more of in the other games but anything that invovled combat (which happened a lot) was beyond shit and was massively improved in the other games (at the expense of the other stuff obvs).
ME1’s loot system and inventory was gash.
ME2’s final boss fight was gash.
I liked both games though.
ME3, I played maybe 3 hours of. Hated the dream sequence bullshit with that kid, never finished it.

By Mariosalic Go To PostME1 was good. 2 and 3 are terrible.
The Swiss are good people you should have beaten Sweden
ME1's gunplay is fucking trash. Don't like going back to play it because of that and the inventory system.
2 and 3 are still good despite being less RPG.

ME1 is awesome, 3 is terrible, 2 is somewhere in the middle but probably more on the bad spectrum than good though.
I bought ME:A for like 3 dollars but will probably never play it

Mass Effect 2 is one of the greatest games of all time.

It was fucking shit, and forced your macho space nazi to be an emotional babby.
Funny thing is Mass Effect Andromeda is a decent enough combination of what 1 was going with but with the better combat of the other games + one of the better casts, and yet people act like it's the Devil May Cry 2 of the series. It's not great by any means, but it's a very solid effort from a B team.

The Xbox 360 didn't have the juice for what yall wanted from a Mass Effect 1 sequel. Streamlining it a bit was necessary, and the gameplay was ace. The story was ace. The characters were ace.

I don't even think ME2 was bad. All I'm saying is that everything that pushed the franchise in the wrong direction came from 2 - and somehow all of that got reinforced going into 3.
I don't know what Andromeda is. Never heard of it

Easily forgettable outside of the combat. Needed more time in the oven
