By Hitch Go To PostReplayed the tutorial and all the Cassardis exploration, just hit the road.
Am I missing something or are there no save files? Seems I can only overwrite one save.

By blackace Go To Postbeen all digital this gen… its greatSold my entire physical collection three years and it's so liberating. Only physical games I buy are non-indie Switch games now.
By Laboured Go To Posti'm not sure what's more baffling, the fact that this person thinks FF is better than the best western literature or that they think that GRRM wrote some of the greatest western literature.
By MonadL Go To PostSold my entire physical collection three years and it's so liberating. Only physical games I buy are non-indie Switch games now.Living in Japan it's a pain in the ass and not even worth selling English games so if I am going to be stuck with them might as well be digital
i don't like selling games, i usually just give it away. selling games is such a hassle.
that's why i switched to 100% digital.
that's why i switched to 100% digital.
I went digital out of necessity. I would sell, purchase, etc. so often it was a waste of money. I would say to myself I’m done with this game I won’t play it anymore then get the urge to play it again
Physical until it dies. I'm like that with movies too. I buy all my UHD Blurays on disc even when Hollywood tries their hardest to make it not worth the time.
blurays is one thing since the quality is much better than streaming but if i never see a videogame box again in my life i would be happy.
i usually watch a bluray once then donate to a library.

When I was a kid I used to think it was cool having cases of games stacked up. Now it's just a waste of space.
I've got some ps2 games in my closet I'm just gonna throwaway one day.

i have a very small stack of games i'm hanging on to. it's just signed copies or games that have some sentimental values to me. but it's less than 20.

Physical forever. My internet just isn't good enough to be downloading upwards of 100gb in any kind of reasonable time.
I'd rather buy a disc release of pretty much anything than even a good digital sale.

By Dark PhaZe Go To Postno interest in fighter z kibner?Only in watching. I'm not much for playing 2D fighters. Granted, my only recent experiences are some version of Guilty Gear and SF4. And that PS1 Dragonball fighting game from way back in the day. lol
e: i also used to play some of the random snes Dragonball fighting games via rom. but, nah, just no interest in playing dbfz
Probably in the future my internet is fucked but most games besides battefield and 2k are 40gb or less.

I respect the love for VF5 though. It makes you an elitist. Same with Guilty Gear.
Liking SF4 and 5 is right up there with being a Cowboys fan though
By Smokey Go To Postthere's an easy way to solve thatBorrow my brother’s PS3 again?
1X prices are still too ridiculous. I could buy the arcade board for less.

At least 4 is fun to watch.
And shit I'm a casual ass fightin game fan but Melty Blood AACC > SF V
By DY_nasty Go To PostDBFZ is really straightforward to play until you start wanting to be a gawd.SF4 was... ok. It wasn't exciting to play. GG was probably too quick for me, and I'm seeing more of the same watching DBFZ (granted, these are pros I'm seeing).

DBFZ is ezpz combos and mind games. Night and day. Play it for a week and it really shows how slow it is. Tekken and DOA are waaaaaay quicker.
By DY_nasty Go To PostGuilty Gear was so skill dependent that even moving with fluidity was a learning curve.I may have to give it a chance someday, then. For now, though, I'm going to try to pick out 1-3 things from this guide for Aoi and try to fully integrate it into my playstyle: https://virtuafighter.com/threads/starting-out-with-aoi.19214/

Oh, sweet. VF5 has 40 attendees so far for EVO: https://smash.gg/tournament/virtua-fighter-5-final-showdown-side-tourney-evo-2018/attendees
They needed at least 32 to get the top 4 finalists compete on a side stage, meaning I should be able to get a stream of it!

By s y Go To PostProbably in the future my internet is fucked but most games besides battefield and 2k are 40gb or less.Since Microsoft's big franchises (Halo, Gears, Forza, I actually like and play all these) have been supported for a while after release with maps, skins, etc, the installation sizes with X patches can get pretty huge. Gears 4 is something like 115gb. Forza 7 is over 100gb, plus I have the car pass so add in all the space for dozens of new cars, and they have announced plans for content updates through September.
They did recently re-release Gears 4 on two discs, though. Hopefully their big games in the future just ship on two discs.
SF IV is hands down one of the very best fighters ever made - technically solid, better balanced than every previous SF by a mile, huge cast, perfect pacing and provides tons of dramatic moments. Like it does Street Fighter so perfectly that I think a lot of the reason for SF V’s tepid reception is that it has no reason to exist. Only the corniest of fighting game hipsters could hate.
By Kibner Go To PostThe deal still works on the 360.The 360 is a piece of junk and I will never buy another one.

Wait really? I get Forza with all those cars but over 110gb for Gears seems a tad excessive.
By jjasper Go To PostWait really? I get Forza with all those cars but over 110gb for Gears seems a tad excessive. The bulk of it is the 24 DLC maps they've released since launch, which are all included as title updates. If you popped in the Gears 4 disc today to do a clean install, you'd get a prompt for something like a 65 gig patch.
I was at my family’s place yesterday and installed Driveclub on by brother’s PS4. I’ve read so much about crazy installs from you guys that I was pleasantly surprised when it only came out to 23 GB.

It's like the only PS4 exclusive on sale that I'm interested in.
By s y Go To PostFaze you should get fighterz.
between fortnite build muscle memory and school shit, my mind just can't take remembering those long fighter z combo strings
so i just watch now
By Kibner Go To PostIs it still worth getting to fart around in? It's like the only PS4 exclusive on sale that I'm interested in.So I don’t quite know how to answer that for you.
The answer is yes, I think it’s fucking awesome, I got super addicted to it and am like 2 trophies away from the platinum. Once we installed it my whole family spend the entire evening sitting around and playing it.
>But<
Watching gameplay footage of Horizon 4, it looks really similar. The big beat music, the getting-in-the-car animation, the scoring & spontaneous challenges, etc. Like during the road racing segments you’d be hard pressed to tell the difference at a glance.
But obviously Horizon is going to have more to it overall - the only big thing is that Driveclub does the “OMG I’m going a billion miles an hour and the car is shaking apart I feel like I’m flying into the monolith at the end of 2001” sense of crazy speed better than just about anything.
But for the most part you may have the same itch scratched by going back to Horizon 3 for a bit or waiting on 4.

looks generic and boring as shit
Looks pretty good, flying in the open world seems great
Get the feeling that its being rushed and there'll be fuck all content though.

It may be worth the $17 or whatever just to get a different company's take on the same idea so I have more references to really figure out what it is I like about similar games.
By Kibner Go To PostI appreciate this post. Thanks! If you do get it, the best advice I can give is to give it a bit of time for the physics to click. It took a while for it to fully sink in that the game’s a relaxed Gran Turismo (except one where the cars feel better connected to the track), not Project Gotham. Brakes and gear shifting are your friends. Weight distribution while driving and grip management matter a lot, and you kind of need to feel your way through it. Drifting is mostly just in the game to show off, it’s rarely the best way to approach a corner.
