Weird, honestly. I think her main draw will be the teleporter and the shenanigans that you can do with it. Throwing turrets seems fine, but they'll get killed asap, unless you're clever. The barrier is going to prove annoying af to deal with, on certain maps. You'll have to play her game, when it's out.

Yea, Prey isn't where combat shines, but there's not really anything close to a win button until late in the game. There's not really actual combat in Dishonored though lol. There's sitting on a vantage point like batman and taking out a whole room silently with no effort as early as a few upgrades into the game.
It's a great game though. Maybe I should have played on hard.

You should spend your first couple upgrade kits in Prey on the stun gun so that you can take out robotic enemies easily. I was basically one shotting all the operators after a couple hours and it makes the game that much easier. Not that I think the combat is bad, it's just not the strongest aspect.
But I also played entirely without typhon mods, so all my upgrade points were going into firearms, health points, etc. Combat focus is another essential mod to put points into.

Gotcha. Everything else about the game was pretty stellar(loading times kind of sucked). Atmosphere, visuals, voice acting, I was even into the narrative. If I see it for $20 or less, I'll probably pick it up..
Oh, loading times are awful on console. It's totally worth seeing through for the story, though. The way it handles player choice and typically gives you several options for completing quests is pretty unmatched in modern games. Even something seemingly dumb like the toy dart gun can be used to help you past a lot of locked doors. Wonderful game.

I really don't care if you only own a Xbox copy of a game. Buy a PS4 copy too then, so Sony can get that royalty, and then I can get a PS5 with God of War 2 instead of Activision and Electronic Arts redux on "Xbox Live".
