By Zabojnik Go To PostThe new PUBG map & patch are fucking ace.
Been having a blast these past two days, pushing across Sanhok like a pack of mad dogs with my top m8s. The smaller map really changes the feel.
Smaller maps always better than larger maps.
By s y Go To Postforza horizon 4 is 90 gbsI mean, it is an open world that they have to render out four different ways. They should start shipping these games on two discs, though. After X patches, Forza 7 is 100 gbs, Halo 5 is 95 gbs, Gears 4 is 115 gbs. I shudder to think how big the Gears 5 install is going to be considering how much better it looks.
War of the chosen is an asshole for being this good. Fuk

By Pennywise Go To PostStarted playing The Pillars of the Earth.I look really hard at this every time I see it in the store. How is it?
Looks spectacular. Really dig the drawings.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostI look really hard at this every time I see it in the store. How is it?I got the retail version for about 14€, so it wasn't really a hard decision to make.
I finished 1 of the 3 books in total and so far I'm enjoying it.
I haven't really read the books it's based on, so I also don't know that much about the storyline and how it will evolve.
While it's a bit meatier compared to the Telltale adventures, it's still a rather simplified adventure, when you compare it to older point and click adventures. Don't expect alot of hard puzzles and more an interactive novel.
The backrounds and everything looks pretty amazing. I really love well drawn stuff and that game definitely fits.
Takes a short amount of time to get used to the controls with a controller, but that happens relatively quick.
EU PSN had it within the sales every once in a while, dunno how it is on the US store or whatever plattform you're looking at.
Give it a go, if you're interested.

I didn't even mean to jump into this right after finishing the base game. This shit is crack.

I have yet to start the last chapter, but so far it has been great. Point and click but without most of the frustrations of point and click, and instead very story driven. It's really what a telltale game would be, if it was good.

Starting to like Detroit more. But it's still sad to see Cage fall into the same old traps he always have, when it comes to making a game. But some actual great moments now, and not just mundane tasks in every chapter
By rvy Go To Postsony stopped selling the dualshock 3 or something? The DS4 works on PS3s, you’re good.
cunts

It does wired, wireless they never fix the issue where you cant do diagonal inputs on the D-Pad and other problems for a lot.
Wired should be okay.
Finished Mario Tennis Aces single player. Gameplay was fun but boy, the story was craaaaaaap.
Felt unfinished in a sense where the everything surrounding the tennis game looks great, but the overworld is a step below it, and the lack of cut scenes for important moments.

the counterfeit market for the DS 3 is amazing, these dudes really stepping their game up with the fakes

Downloaded the Prey trial. Pretty good, that input lag issue from the first demo is better, there's still this weird camera acceleration going on that I can't disable. I'm liking the atmosphere and I'd be lying if I said the mimics didn't startle me a little. The only thing that feels off is the combat, it feels like my cursor can't keep up with the mimics, I feel like I should be able to kill one without taking damage. Also fighting the Phantoms are weird too, I feel like I should be dodge rolling their energy blasts. Fighting these enemies seem more annoying than fun.
I'd buy it if the PSN version ever comes down to retail price($20). I think there was a Bethesda sale a couple weeks ago too shit. I'll check out Dishonored 2.
edit: reading online that prey's combat was built for mouse controls, feels like it.

By YungMagus Go To PostSo you finally playin them or what?man i dont know if im getting older or need more caffeine, but the entry point to any game now feels like a mountain to climb. id rather see my people die in xcom than start another rpg - until i get going and i put 50 hours a week into it

when i played god of war i pretty much mainlined the whole thing because i knew id get bored if i did side shit
Mentioned it in the D2 thread, but damn, I'm really enjoying what I've played of Destiny 2 so far. The soundtrack is superb, feels really chilled and laid back to just sit down and play for a while. Even as a solo player, I'd recommend trying it out if you're after a chilled out time sink.
It's fucking bogus, that's why. I do a lot of normal THunt for aim practice, that's all it's good for.
By rvy Go To Postpeople really don't fuck with terrorist hunt on realistic do they?

Hit the 3 hour limit three times already lol. Once I put enough time into it I really dug it but I'm not sure how the whole eight different path schtick is going to play out.

House, terrorist hunt classic with Ash. Grind it out, it's not too bad if you kite the bombers out one by one.
Edit: Really, it's not so bad that way. Open up the left side of the garage with a breaching charge and it'll give you a view right through to the back of the laundry room door and the bombers will usually funnel through that. Just keep an ear out for breaking barricades because one or two white mask's will come outside from either the side door by kitchen or the room above the right side of the garage.
