If you use your account to play on ps4 at any point you can't play it anywhere else. Hold your account hostage once you get the sony stench lol
By Red Blaster Go To Postlol come on now dawgof course they said that.
after how they pussied out with FC5
Can't change your name, can't cross play, can't get refunds, can't link accounts without losing possibly hundreds of dollars of purchases. PSNs like a nice service.
I want Sega to get back in the game with another loveable but doomed console that I can get behind. I feel nothing emotionally for the current 1st parties.
Yakuza Kart
Yakuza & Knuckles
Yakuza Fighter Kids
Yakuza CD
Virtua Yakuza
Marky Mark & the Funky Bunch Make My Yakuza
Alex Kidd in Yakuza World
Do it, Sega.

Aaaaaaaand fuck outta here. Trash.
Yeah Sony is dicks. Basically Destiny 2 probably could have had saves transfer between the PC and PS4 but Sony was all "nope." If anything they just killed more sales for themselves with that mess.
By Lunatic Go To PostDoes this mean you will stop talking about it?Haha
By Smokey Go To Postmoist brehsYeah, I've become pretty convinced since the reveal that Infinite is a launch title for next gen. Jason Schreier alluded to it on his podcast, too.
DF is also going with the Holiday 2020 narrative for both next gen sysrems. Alludes to this being cross next gen and looking at this trailer broken down with DF, I didn't realize how much was actually teased and shown.
But since it seems like they're totally changing their campaign design and going back to square one, this is all okay and probably the only way they got Phil to approve a five year development cycle for it. An open world that plays like Halo 2, oh, lord.
By Kibner Go To PostI use a SCUF on PS4 and Elite on XB1 and they are great, but also use custom sticks and I don't think they make grips for the stock sticks. There are a lot of companies that make "over the stock" thumb grips; the issue is some of the good ones are really pricey and give less quantity.
For instance, Kontrol Freek is the best one on the market but they sell them only 2 per item. A nice concave grip is all I ask for...
Kontrol Freek CQC is $18
GelTabz is much more inexpensive but not as good at $6
By NinjaFridge Go To PostI wish people cared this much about cross platform play last gen
there was kind of lots of shit talking about it? i remember it being brought up on gaf often, how big dicks MS were being
By Wahabipapangus Go To Postthere was kind of lots of shit talking about it? i remember it being brought up on gaf often, how big dicks MS were beingYeah but not the way it is now and the companies never cared about it that much either. If MS hadn't dropped the ball so much with the One I don't think they'd be championing it like they are currently.
By Pennywise Go To PostAssuming the nextgen consoles arrive in Autumn/Winter 2020 this would mean a year or more between the announcement and thing going on sale. I liked the shorter time we got between announcement and sale with the PS4/One so more of that would be preferable.
Smokey already selling his PC.
Kind of crayz that Xbox themselves said that.

Update:
Microsoft US has reached out to say: "This is a translation error. We have not announced any timeframe." It seems Jeremy Hinton's comments were misrepresented in the original piece by GameMeca when it was published, and they'll probably be updating their article soon too.

The security aspect of Jurassic World is kind of addicting. Weird that they gameified it but if i was 12 id be obsessed with freeing dinosaurs just to go shoot them.

Seems like Planet Coast with Dinos yes?
By livefromkyoto Go To PostI wonder if MS want that year head start again that gave them success with the 360.It wouldn't launch next fall though, so there would be no head start.
I can't imagine being one of these people that bought Xbone Kinect at launch for $500; then the S a bit more than two years later for $400; and then finally the X for $500 less than a year ago - and now there's rumblings of another new system in two years.
It's time for a new generation, and I think what they've packaged for the X is great for the industry and consumers, but that is really being taken for a ride for one gen considering the return on investment.
I think some people actually believe that the X will be forwards compatible with the next generation games.
By Kuma Go To PostSeems like Planet Coast with Dinos yes? There's a little Cities Skylines in there too. I imagine you have to be really into dinosaurs to want to recommend it. I don't know how deep the management aspect goes, but from what I've seen of the hour or so I've played it seems like there's not that many buildings and whatnot. The core pull seems like the gene splicing which I haven't messed with.
Pretty addicting so far though. And like I said, I think if you had a kid they'd be in love with all the little 'mini games' it has. Reminds me of SimCopter. And when the mods open up it could be a new game entirely if it's anything like skylines
By GQman2121 Go To PostIt wouldn't launch next fall though, so there would be no head start.I don’t know...moving on from a bunch of systems in a row is part of what doomed Sega in the mid 90s, but we’re living in a different world now that’s more conditioned to iterative hardware. Smartphones and iPads have trained us well.

If it is 3 years from the 1X launch to Scarlet, that’s actually only 1 year less than from the launch of the original Xbox to the 360. But yeah, having typed all that I kind of agree, I don’t know if it would feel like a good buy in retrospect for a lot of people, given how expensive it was.
MS will need to make a lot of good will moves around BC with their next machine to try and keep people invested.
bought infamous dlc spinoff thing, battlechasers, journey and the order since they were all dirt cheap on the e3 sale
By data Go To Postbought infamous dlc spinoff thing, battlechasers, journey and the order since they were all dirt cheap on the e3 saleAs much praise as Journey got, I couldn’t see the big deal. I just forced my way through to the end to say I’d finished it.
As much hate as The Order got, I couldn’t see how it was any worse than an average cover shooter with some great visuals. (Okay, the story and repeating bosses sucked, but were hardly deal breakers).

There's no way the next consoles aren't backwards compatible with at least the current generation. MS is setting the precedent with emulation (or whatever the hell magic they're using) for most of their stuff to come along too.
I'm looking at something like Days Gone that is Q1 2019, and then looking at those CyberPunk screens, Last of Us 2 and reading that Halo is going open world and I'm wondering how these are expected to play on the same hardware.

TLOU 2 looks next gen but ND said they redid their engine plus they're wizards(i think it's cross gen too). Aren't Cyber Punk and Halo confirmed next gen?
