Beat Zelda. Solid game. Pacing could use a bit of work. Its a shame that once you get everything you need to really start having a blast, it means the game is nearly over, meanwhile you're fighting so many tiresome and tedious limitations when you first get started.
Anyway, I guess Mario Odyssey next. Running out of games of note on my backlog.

It can be both. It feels like people in the VG industry fail to comprehend that, still...in 2018.
I swear DBFZ pisses me off, even with me loving it. I'm not even good, but it feels like shit happens that shouldn't. At this point, I'm fully cognizant of where I need to improve, but damn it sucks when you get opened up and you know it isn't your fault. Instant air dash heavy not coming out, unless you mash. Negative edging into dumbness. Block just not working, because the DS4 is actually fucking terrible. 😐 I'll easily admit when I drop inputs, but that shit isn't 100% of the time.
Evo is around the corner and damn am I tired of pap, pap, HELLOOO, pap, pap, pap, I'M QUITE CONFIDENT IN MY SPEED YOU KNOW, from Cell's hoe ass. Got more of a thrill fighting Magneto, Vergil, and Phoenix with Lvl 3 X-factor.
Salty af.

Art is just expression, imo. It's not exactly special by itself but can be by the impact it has on the creator and/or others.

By Kibner Go To PostArt is just expression, imo. It's not exactly special by itself but can be by the impact it has on the creator and/or others.aye yeah, that's a good way to put it. If someone wants to express something in a video game, sure. You get games like That Dragon, Cancer.
but most of them are for entertainment. Like the Transformers is not a symbolism on America's war on immigrants and how it has slowly destroyed the country in the sequels.
would rather have sy talk kingdom hearts for the next 20 posts than go through another tedious ass ‘are games art’ debate

Early silent hill at least. Even the room which in many ways was a failed game, had a lot of interesting stuff going on.
Games vs art debates are boring, especially when met with the attitude that they never even could be. Just remember no one is saying every game is art, should try to be, or that those that might qualify is good art. But I could think of a few.

Yeah tennis games still aren't for me, sorry Mario.
In other news, after training on the great plateau for a few days my 3 year old gamer grrl just took out her first moblin camp by herself! She got that 3d camera control down, so proud.

Hydro Thunder is on Xbox Game Pass now!
I thought it's been on there, but I think I already had it bought from the 360 era. My son loves playing it.
Sly Cooper 2 is like four times bigger than the first game. Some of these episodes are looooong. Good time though.

Checking out gaming podcasts, everybody on Giant Bomb seems really miserable. I'm liking what I'm seeing from Easy Allies, I'm a fan of the Gametrailers voice dude too.

Giant Bomb always seemed to be too into themselves for me. And like you said, always seemed miserable. Hard pass.
By joefu Go To PostI never understood the love for giant bomb. I do like the Easy Allies guys though. Mostly BosmanGB used to be the best, by a huge margin. They were just really charismatic, knowledgeable and quick while also being unapologetic slobs, and it made it fun to listen to them argue about stupid things like breakfast cereal and pizza or whether Sub Zero counts as a wizard for 20 minutes straight.
But they lost key members, split up the talent between east & west, and made some baffling hiring decisions. They’re just not what they were.
Easy Allies go a bit too hard with the WE’RE POSITIVE AND SUPER HYPED FOR EVERYTHING schtick, but Bosman has always been one of the best voices in gaming since back in the game trailers days.

I watched one video of there's on Xenoblade Chronicles a few years ago (was the first result on the search), and yeah. Dunno how people watch their ish.
I used to really like Giant Bomb and would listen pretty frequently but after Ryan died the whole thing kind of fell apart.
The only one I really ever listen to anymore is retronauts and only do that occasionally when it is a topic I am interested in.

The Giant Bomb East office does their best content these days. Vinny and Dan have always come up with their best features like Steal My Sunshine, Mario Party Party, The Exquisite Corps, etc.
It's true that the West office hasn't been the same since Ryan died, but I'll always roll with Jeff and Brad, even if it means listening to a podcast that I find to not be as compelling these days.

Brandon Jones, Michael Huber, Bosman and Ben Moore seem like fun, solid personalities. Everybody on GiantBomb seem like Redblaster or end of season Rodeo.

Try the giant beastcast instead. Way better than the normal bombcast.
By DY_nasty Go To Postyou hear that red blaster? xenoblade is art now fall back
We really gonna open that can o worms again huh?
Giantbomb got too big, they're still funny but they are also jaded af. That will happen when you've been in the industry as long as they have, nothing seems to excite them any more.
Been looking to start listening to the easy allies guys.

I saw a thing that pugb is now something like the 6th biggest selling game of all time with over 40 million copies sold. Sounds like Fortnite has even more players than that. I wonder if Epic is regretting putting out Fortnite for free or are they raking in even more from microtransactions?
