It's never too late to enjoy Sunset Overdrive.
I hope this means Microsoft is putting together an X patch for it, too.

Disabled vsync in nvcp, and now state of decay 2 runs at 60+ majority of the time. Dunno how I skipped the first, but it's addicting.
Dark really is dark outside. Food runs be feeling like a Walking Dead ep.

First game was great but fell into a repetitive grind that felt like it had no consequence. Looking forward to the sequel when i eventually pick up a bone this year. Need dat Orta 😫🍆💦

Had too many mouths to feed. Called up the network for some food supplies. Clear across the map. At night. And you really can't see shit at night. Picked up 3 sacks of food then got hit with the your people are starving message. Food supplies in the red. Made it back with zombies in and around the base. Took care of them, but that was a cool moment.
By YungMagus Go To PostPCe's ys OSTs are piff as fuck.Yeah, they just seem to be pushing the remakes, but to me the PC Engine ones are the ‘real’ versions. The Turbo CD version of I&II came out on Wii virtual console, I was able to grab that before the service stopped accepting money. But that might be the last time it ever surfaces for all I know.
Check out the ost of ys 3 and 4 while your at it.
It sucks that those ost come from ports and falcom an't never gonna touch em and release em. Best ost versions hands down
I really liked III’s soundtrack on SNES, one of the best on the system. Never played IV on anything. One day I might get a Duo-R and play the other two.

I played all day yesterday. Like I said on PC and One X. I didn't experience a crash or bugs in either. And I don't really read reviews in 2018, so I have no idea what the complaints were about it tbh. I'm guessing it centered around performance and maybe presentation? It's not a looker. Other than that idk. I'm playing it as part of Game Pass, and it's fine to me :shrug

By s y Go To PostApparently the coop is broken. Will have to try that tonight if Smokey or Rodeo will let me join their games.
Broke my loss streak in Issac with back to back wins with Judas. Game does seem a lot harder now on Switch than I remember it being on the Vita back when Rebirth first released. Either that or I’m just terrible at it. Probably the latter.

Army of Two: The 40th Day would have gotten you all the way up to a 73.

I have my session open to friends, so if I'm on, jump in and try it.
By Kibner Go To Postjrpgs, anything i can play with friends, games that give a real sense of adventure, games with great characters that believably change and grow
oh, i'm also looking for things that are console exclusive since if i can buy it on PC, i will
Lol You just described GoW and Bloodborne lol. Think you would like something like Odin Sphere , Yakuza 0 or Dragons Crown?
By s y Go To PostDoesn't insomniac own the IP?Insomniac owns the Sunset Overdrive IP, but Microsoft owns the publishing rights to the first game. They're listed as the publisher by the Korean ratings board, too.
Microsoft has published some random things on Steam like Quantum Break and Killer Instinct, so it's not impossible that Sunset Overdrive would be available outside of the Windows Store.

I've been interested in the Yakuza games, actually. Grinding the minigames would bring out the worst of me, but oh well.
Odin Sphere was something that drew my interest in the past but I forgot about it. Will need to check it out again.
Dragon's Crown is an actual good game? I've always been hesitant because of some of the art...
Kibner get No Man's Sky after the update. Space is lonely as fuck but helps to have friends
Go and mine for hours on a planet in order to get a ship.

It’s really more in the tradition of a Final Fight beat ‘em up along the lines of Knights of the Round or Guardian Heroes than what you might think of as an rpg. I personally couldn’t get into it but some people really liked it.
The best action jrpg with a legit story I can recommend right now is Nier Automata, I forget if you’ve played that yet. If you’ve never given Valkyria Chronicles a shot, the remaster is out on PS4 and it’s pretty awesome- it straddles the line between strategy rpg and action game controls, with a pretty good story that’s a WWII allegory.

i mean it looks nice, but that is so fucking heavily scripted it's stupid. just give some real gameplay.
Very bloom-y and saturated. New physical animations for players looks nice.
And that it's running at 60fps is very impressive.

First time in a while where Ive seen a World War 2.... something exclude any references to nazis.
Hell you could have told me, if I knew nothing about the setting that it was set during thr Vietnam War and I would have believed you. It looked void of anything resembling WW2 from a glance, and more like an arcade game based on the setting.
Pretty disappointing after what they went for with Battlefield 1.

Looks nice, but it's hard to tell how the game will actually play. Trailer was scripted as fuck.
Historical accuracy seems to have gone out the window as well. Looks like they went a little too crazy with customisation.

Hell is that a story based trailer or a multiplayer one? Are you in a squad of immortals rampaging across Europe. Im really not sure what they were going for there, especially after having a 'real time gameplay' aspect halfway through it.

It was the co-op mode called Combined Arms. People were spawning in even on your position - see the end when that guy is about to kill you then you see +20 for spawn on your position and she kills him.
