By Laboured Go To PostWho should be my starter characters on R6S?You asked the right one, fam.
Tempted to go with Sledge but idk about defending at all.
Sledge is a good pick, versatile but none essential if you die early or whatever. Plus you can fucking murder people with that hammer.
Jager, Rook or Doc are all good picks for defence. Again, non-essential if you die early. They've got some of the best guns on defence too.
By Laboured Go To PostSweet. Time to get my face shot off ten million times For The Team.
Just play on site/close to site on defence and hold angles on points of entry. Easiest way to get a feel for the flow of the game while still getting kills.
Edit: Shit, now I wanna play some Siege.
By HottestVapes Go To PostYou can thank the likes of Ubisoft for that, given they've been pushing free maps out for over two years now.I would guess blizzard is more responsible for that
If I may, Rook and Kapkan are good starter operators on defender side, just lay down armor as Rook at the start of the round and traps on doorways as Kapkan
Fuze and Ash are good starter operators on attacker side. you can play Ash as a pure fragger. don't Fuze the hostage
I wouldn't recommend Doc for a beginner, he's not a traditional healer character with how limited the stim pistol is

dunno, they'll expect him to heal them
By Laboured Go To PostI know I shouldn't but I know I'm really going to want to mute the mics in this game.
you can mute the awful people individually, it's what I do. there are some good players in the game you don't want to mute
By HottestVapes Go To PostWith Overwatch? They may have further popularised it, but they weren't the first AAA FPS out to do it.I'm not saying they innovated it. It's old as dirt practice but I definitely think they're popularised it because ea and Activision see stuff like OWLS viewership and they want in which requires easily accessed dlc for would be pros

I keep hearing bad things bout Wolf 2: New Colossus, but idk man - people said the same thing bout Mafia 3 and Mankind Divided and they were ok
Worth 15 sterlings I hope

By DY_nasty Go To PostDetroit man…. I just don't know
It's horrible.
I mean take that as you will from me as i consider Heavy Rain one of the worst games ever made but Detroit isn't much better. The writing is attrocious and there's not really anything else.
It was fun drinking and laughing about it with friends tho.
By s y Go To PostNintensiderpro, what's the action adventure genre looking like for the Switch this year?
What would interest you?
By Mariosalic Go To PostWhat would interest you?3rd person action. Anything really, doesn't have to be bayo. Just 3rd person action adventure.
By Mariosalic Go To PostMeh.
Sell it now.
By Red Blaster Go To Postyou can always make your own with laboMaybe I can make some games for Nintendo with Dreams.
Does Detroit lean closer to Heavy Rain or Beyond: Two Souls?
The former was enjoyable tosh, the latter was just dull

i didn't play beyond.
By etc Go To PostDo you like Zelda enough to pretend that a reskin of Dynasty Warriors is good?I like both.
I'm getting it then.
i really liked it and it has a shit ton of content. i'm not a DW expert tho, i believe they don't like it as much.
By etc Go To PostDo you like Zelda enough to pretend that a reskin of Dynasty Warriors is good?I honestly thought what I played of it was better than any DW game in recent memory.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostI honestly thought what I played of it was better than any DW game in recent memory. You must not have played Orochi 3
By data Go To PostYou must not have played Orochi 3This is true. I used to like those games but I was pretty much done with the franchise after Empires 6. DW Next seemed like an alright time. DW9 looked like a bunch of guys who didn’t know what they were doing.
Been playing State of Decay 2 all day. Dope game. Never played with the first. Played majority of time on PC due to 30fps+, but tried out the Game Pass Play Anywhere feature and it worked with no issues. Has some jank, but that's just it's charm
rodeo how far are you?

Has some jank, but that's just it's charmI actually just restarted not long ago. In my first community, I was trying to recruit every survivor and it basically lead to everyone in my base being miserable because of personality clashes. So I tried to prioritize making people happy when upgrading my base by going for things like water access. When the plague hearts started popping up, I had no way to deal because I had no workshop and couldn't make bombs.

In conclusion, the workshop and watchtower are the first things you should build at your base. And don't be afraid to exile people. Sometimes they really don't have anything to offer and just annoy everyone else.
Looks like it is on GamePass now, so I'm installing it. Hope to play some tonight. How does co-op work in this game? Could I join one of y'all and just help out? Or does it need to be a full new game itself?
Also, it continues to annoy me that XB1 doesn't employ CEC commands. Instead, I have to program it like a shitty universal remote.

The progress goes towards the host's community, though you do keep all the influence you earn, a sort of currency that you use to build base upgrades, secure outposts and eventually to relocate your base.
I lied. You also keep what you loot.
Additionally, any loot you acquire on your travels in your friend's game will be taken back to your own personal base. Players will be able to drop items on the floor as well, for others to pick up, use, and keep. You will be able to access your pool of supplies and gear from your personal progression from your friend's game, via their bases and outposts.

Got my guy up to Hero. Built a workshop, garden, master bedroom. I got two additional outposts, one a pharmacy, and one just a spot because it had an additional 2 beds. Just found an antenna that you mod onto the Command Center to reach farther and/or have access to an additional out post. Haven't come close to exploring the entire map. Like 3 of my guys are infected though. Haven't found water yet.
Enjoying it a lot.
How can you reroll? Are you basically blowing the save away and just starting over?
By Kibner Go To PostThanks, Rodeo.

Are Gears of War 1-3 worth playing single player? I beat 4 and thought it was ok.
Gears 1 probably hasn't aged well. 2 and 3 should be solid enough though, particularly 3
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostGears 1 probably hasn't aged well. 2 and 3 should be solid enough though, particularly 3Thanks. They are all available on game pass, so I might as well play them while I'm waiting for my video card to be repaired and sent back.

I think they're all Enhanced except for Gears 1. Gears 3 in particular looks really good.
By Smokey Go To PostHow can you reroll? Are you basically blowing the save away and just starting over? There's actually a manage communities option in the main menu where you can keep the old save and just start a new one fresh. There's three save slots.
By Kibner Go To PostAre Gears of War 1-3 worth playing single player? I beat 4 and thought it was ok.I think so! The first game has some pretty awesome set pieces and moments still. The berserker fight is still top tier. I won't hear otherwise. Pick up Ultimate Edition rather than play the 2006 original, though. It's a really nicely done remaster. 2 and 3 aged better in terms of mechanics and graphics and 3 could pass for an early generation game with the X enhancements.
