Kitase and Hamaguchi mention that they want Final Fantasy VII Remake to have launched before Final Fantasy’s 35th anniversary. Which is all well and good, except that the 35th anniversary would be in 2023. Hamaguchi, thankfully enough, admits that that is too far along, so hopefully, we’ll have the game on our hands much earlier than that. But oh well, at least we have a release window now- we’re getting it before 2023.

Even thinking that, the first episode probably isn't out until 2020 considering they took development back in house and then restarted only like a year ago.

Rage 2? After Doom, I would have thought that Quake was up next. This came straight out of left field.
I mean Retro is a good developer so I might give it a chance but man what a downer unless it is basically reskinned f zero then I might be ok kind of excited about it.

The good thing about Rage 2 is they can sort take the chains off a bit and fuck around with the concept since no one is married to the orginal. You can make a fun game from that world.
