I mean can we at least look awake and like we give a fuck while we’re getting a beat down?
On a side note: I’m getting pissed Magic assembled one of the worst shooting teams of all time for a coach who’s offense requires pace and spacing.

Yes. Though we have been utter trash without him last several games
By Kuma Go To PostLakers fan I know you hate losing but you gotta tough it out for half a season.4 tank seasons in a row has basically resulted in "We're LA, we're gonna get free agents!"
might work though
Brandon Ingram's jumpshot sure is garbage for a guy who was picked largely because of his jumpshot.
It feels like he would be much better if he could shoot.

Is there anyway the Lakers can be sorry and not on national TV?

This is my worry. He’s improved a ton with regards to his ability to get to the rim. His mid range is chill too. He still can’t hit a three. He’s really young though. He jut turned 20 in september
We’re taking football now on tv ... that’s how bad this game is lol

it remains to be seen whether he'll keep it going.

Him being good would be an interesting wrinkle. Throwing away possessions with Roberson on the floor is going to be hard to stomach if they end up matched up with HOU or GSW in the playoffs.

masud you got your wish.
Kristaps Porzingis admitted that he’s feeling some wear and tear and is getting fatigued.I forgot KP always had a stretch where he was rested/hurt so he'd get a breather, but after his knee tweak he's been playing just around 35 minutes a night and has had little energy the last 2-3 games. Knicks might get Hardaway Jr. back in a week but a gassed, inefficient KP + heavy road sched could push the Knicks into tank mode by late January. The funny thing is the last week and a half he's had tons of rest due to the holiday schedule, so this is a culmination of the season rather than a few b2b sets.
"I’m tired, I’m tired, I’m so tired right now,’’ Porzingis said after hitting 5-of-19 shots on Wednesday vs. the Spurs. "I have one day to rest my legs and get back and play better and have more energy and try to bring the team’s energy up. We’re in a tough stretch. The mental part doesn’t help at all. When it’s mentally tough, you don’t have it in you.’’ There's no indication that Porzingis is planning to sit out any games, but this isn't an encouraging quote for a player that hasn't proved that he can last through a full NBA season. Coach Jeff Hornacek said he may even consider reducing his touches, so this is something to keep an eye on.
The Knicks are reportedly interested in calling up Trey Burke from the G-League.Beasley/Burke FUTUAR
The Knicks would have to clear a roster spot first, so Ramon Sessions would be the most likely to get the boot if this happens. Burke has been a bust at the NBA level so far, but has been making some noise in the G-League with 27.3 points, 5.4 assists, 3.3 rebounds and 2.0 steals. Fantasy owners can ignore this for now.
By s y Go To PostUsing up too much energy flopping like a bitchYou've had so many floppers on Miami and you still can't tell what one is.

I mean even if she's not your type per se, she's a fucking gymnast! Think of the moves, man. Make Kelsi Monroe blush.
By s y Go To PostUsing up too much energy flopping like a bitchplus he does way too much trying to chase people on the perimeter. unicorn or not, he's still 7+ feet chasing wings around outside the 3pt line. that's unreal torgue on that frame
7 footers aren't build for the type of game he plays tbh. Hope he stays relatively healthy. Yaos body eventually broke down and he was an equally tall human being.
Yao was too big for life and his feet couldn't handle it. Kristaps' looks much more durable. I think he can prevent injury, but there's only so much conditioning he can do at his size and pace is crazy these days
kristaps can be a unicorn on offense but on defense he shouldn't be doing anything that marcus camby wouldn't
there's no reason a guy his size should be switching hard and high on shooting guards like its nothing unusual

He's going to seriously hurt himself if he keeps this up. Flopping this hard at that height with that frame is a recipe for disaster.
By s y Go To PostThere's embellishing contact and flopping. To get the flopper label you gotta be in that life for years...like it's ingrained in what you do on O and D. Even Manu didn't flop his first year or two when he came to the NBA, but when he started he went IN. Harden also had a quick transition into the flop life, and Marcus Smart has it embedded in his soul.

KP seems to start embellishing shit when he repeatedly doesn't get calls early in a game or against very physical bigs. Notice most of that stuff takes place in the 4th quarter of games/against bigger guys (Howard, Drummond, Cousins). Until he turns fully to it I'm not calling him a flopper. You can call me a homer if you want (actually you can't), but Knicks have had floppers on their team in the past and I shit on them every time they flopped.
KP flops. It's ok. Every star flops. They are good at it. Flopping has been a thing in the NBA since there were referees. There were even instruction manuals written for it in like the 50s.
KP has been flopping like some inflatable floppy arms man this year. And been shameless about it. Just deal with it as a fact. Cause it is.
He should be embeleshing contact, but you can't cp3copter every touch 35ft from the rim like he's been trying to do.
