I guess Coverges new one was alright as well. But that's the problem. It's just alright.

The new Fiest album was slept on by so many people. It's a low key album but it's a grower. I might even say it's her best, though it doesn't have a huge single that'll pop up in an Apple commercial.
10. Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings - Soul of A Woman
If you're a fan of the music of The 70s then check it out, the album has a bit of everything from that era.
9. Chicano Batman - Freedom Is Free
Brown eyed-soul, posted them here before, this album is far and away their best work.
8. Slowdive - SLowdive
British Dream-Pop/Shoegaze band returns after 20+ year absence.
7. The XX - I See You
6. Vince Staples - Big Fish Theory
5. SZA - CTRL
4. Moses Sumney - Aromanticism
3. Freddie Gibbs - You Only Live 2wice
2. Mount Eerie - A Crow Looked At Me

Album of the year for me is 4:44 by Jay Z. Really enjoyed this album in the summer and surprised me at how good it was, didn't expect Jay to deliver that good of an album. One of his best in a long time.

Joey Badass
