Witnessed (and touched) the V8 Ferrari F1 car on Saturday while it was running Daytona's road course. What a fucking noise!! These V6s are trash compared to the V8s and V10s.
The V12s in the XX cars (599s, Enzo, LaFerrari) are batshit insane.

Porsche's Guards Red is such a wonderful color. I imagine you could slap it on most cars and it would turn them into head-turners. It is a mystery to me why Porsche seems to limit it to only their 2-doors (I think?). I guess they only want that color to be associated with the super sporty 2-doors and not with their "family" offerings like the Panamera.
I’ve currently got a 2010 Camry. Would it be possible to go to a Toyota dealership and get the same rims they use on a 2022 Camry installed
Anyone know of a good shop in the Frisco/North Dallas area to take my Cayman to in order to find and repair paint chips? I noticed a couple spots this past weekend and want things to get taken care of before things get worse.

Not really cost effective. New OEM wheels from the dealer run $500-700 a piece. Find the wheels on eBay for way less than that, although it's honestly a waste of money. Also you'll need new tires, as I'm assuming it's a different sized wheel. And don't take it to the dealer because their labor will be way too expensive.

You may want to check out Park Place Porsche Dallas. Disclaimer - I’ve never been myself, but have heard good things and see that it has 4.6 out of 5 stars on Google with 715 reviews.
By DiPro Go To Posthey you might get to watch the Pels vs the Mavs then!I can afford a base model Porsche, but I can't afford those tickets. lol

Kib pls
By DiPro Go To Posti can't afford a porsche but have been to playoff games. 🤔I ain't spending $500 for two nosebleed tickets in an opposing teams arena. I might instead spend the same amount of money to fly down to NOLA and watch the game in my much better seats and also spend time with friends and family.

Makes sense lol
Apropos of nothing, I decided to actually figure out what my Cayman thinks is the most fuel-efficient time to shift when not accelerating (it has a ui element telling you when to up shift for better fuel efficiency):
1st -> 2nd: 12 mph
-> 3rd: 24
-> 4th: 32
-> 5th: 36
-> 6th: 41
The first two gears being so tall is really the only big criticism I have of this car.

The new Z car is apparently very good. Just needs a better exhaust and brakes, and loaded it's like 6 grand cheaper than a Supra and you can actually see out of the thing.
GT4 RS does seem like the one to get though. Just get some proper dampers on it for everyday use. That soundtrack is to die for. The intake sound is heaven.
Might be singing up to get in line for a 2023 Ionic 5 tomorrow, in the AWD highest tier spec, this color:
Put in the deposit for the Ionic 5 today, 2022 models sold out worldwide. 2023 barely any left I'm told, ohh well, now I wait and see.

Basura. Pure basura.
Half of the AMG's appeal for the past 15 years was their exhaust noise. They've just flushed all that down.
I haven't posted a pic of the Mac in a minute...but I've since done some minor mods to it. Titanium exhaust (it weighs a whole 6lbs) and a carbon wing (that weighs all of 5lbs) lol

I'm going to a Porsche Taycan event on Friday, looking forward to test drive one. The only 2 EVs I've tried out is the Polestar 3 and Cupra Born. The Polestar was insane, so my expectations on the Taycan are high.
Saw the Linus Tech "review" of the Taycan, it was interesting see him talk about the software side of the car. And this is the same with my Audi as well, how the heck can the automakers be so bad with the software? I mean if you're putting a lot of features on the touchscreen, why not make sure that the UX and the UI are working?
JayzTwoCentz is probably one of the few tech guys who is a legit car guy. The rest are filthy casuals who think screens and UX are more important than how the car drives. They think that now that EVs are a thing they can just blindly comment on a vehicle.
By Lunatic Go To PostHow the hell you've tried out a Polestar 3?Sorry, meant Polestar 2. Polestar 3 is of course not released yet.
By reilo Go To PostPlease don't watch the likes of Linus or MKBHD when it comes to car reviews they're awful at thoseYeah no, I like CarWow and Harry’s Garage for proper car reviews. Just liked Linus’ software part.
Y'all aren't the only ones annoyed at tech YouTubers reviewing cars and completely missing the car part of the car.
I heard from one of our brands that they're not sending out cars to tech reviewers for the foreseeable future lol. And if they do, they're waaaaay on the bottom of the list.
On the other hand, the likes of Doug DeMuro keep getting these cars coz he actually does talk both about the car and the tech.
So the enthusiast audience is kinda screwed anyway. 😂😂😂

As expected, it was a great car. This was my first Porsche to drive and I loved how they made it look like you were driving a big 911 with the bumps on the bonnet.
I drove the Cross Turismo 4, and they had a Sport Turismo GTS as well, but didn't have time to try it. The car is huge, but felt small and nimble thanks to the great steering. The quality of the ride and the materials were top notch.
The Audi A6 is still leading the race to be our next car in 2 years, but damn I want a Taycan so much right now. If it wasn't for the small luggage space it would be a no brainer. But maybe I should try a Panamera next.

Washed my Cayman today in preparation for making Father's Day trips. Driving it still lowers my stress and I still consistently get compliments, feeding my vanity.
I also need to get another copy of this toy and paint it Guards Red to match mine: https://hasbropulse.com/products/transformers-studio-series-86-01-deluxe-the-transformers-the-movie-autobot-jazz

Having owned A6s, and my dad currently owning a 2021 A6...and having recently driven Reilo's Porsche...get a Porsche. Get a second job if you have to. :p
By reilo Go To PostMKBHD: "Ford F150 Lightning is the iPhone of pickup trucks!"lol I watched it. So basic right? It's a work vehicle just because it's electric doesn't mean the people who will being buying it will care about the tech shit. He didn't even cover towing.
