Luxury electric car manufacturer Lucid has been targeting a maximum range of more than 500 miles for the Air sedan for a couple years now. Early testing and internal estimates showed it was possible, and now it has been confirmed by the EPA. The official range for the longest-range Lucid Air is 520 miles on a single charge.
There are a couple of Lucid Air models that haven't been rated yet, though. The base 480-horsepower Air Pure and the 620-horsepower Air Touring haven't received EPA numbers. Lucid expects to get a range of around 406 miles from each. Considering how close Lucid's estimates were for the high-end versions, we expect those estimates to be accurate..
The Lucid Air is a very impressive tech showcase. Be interesting to see if it takes off. Between it and the Rivian truck, I'm not sure which is more interesting. Both of them feel like stuff from the future but apparently both are pretty damn real. Just need to see if they can manufacture and service at a decent clip/quality.
By reilo Go To PostBetter than New York? IDK all the west coast cities have about equivalent roads. I will say though the huge advantage of being in the Bay Area is that you can find some incredible roads within a 2 hour drive – from going north on the CA1 to Stinson Beach or going south to Montery/Carmel by the Sea and beyond. There's also some great mountain passes you can do.
Ryoko is whatever. If you want a better sushi experience in a hole-in-the-wall kinda thing I'd recommend Eiji on Sanchez St. For Italian go to Amarena on Russian Hill. Il Casaro for pizza in North beach. Burmese Kitchen, Amphawa Thai, and Boiling Pot are all great and they are all on Geary. I'll add more to the list later.
Beware of hills!
Thanks for the recs!
Honestly I liked Ryoko coz of the fresh fish and experience. I went solo, sat at the bar, made some friends and blew my money on salmon belly and ootoro and chuutoro and it was one of the best moments of my sushi eating career. 😂 I actually haven't ootoro again, even tho it's widely available now here in Dallas, coz it's so damn expensive lol.
As for the other places, they're now on my list and we'll go with what we're feeling at the time.
Dunno tho if I can head to Stinson beach or Monterey as my flight got automatically rebooked. I was supposed to leave at 5PM on Monday but now I have to leave at 1PM. Maybe if I can wake up early enough on Sunday, we'll try to go.

Love it
We’ll start this off by letting you know that an Emira First Edition is fully loaded up with options, making it extra expensive. Europeans will be paying €95,995 for the model, and in case you’re in the U.K., your price is £75,995. The Euro equivalent is $112,000 at today’s exchange rates, while the pound sterling equivalent is about $104,000. Without U.S.-specific pricing available yet, it’s impossible to nail down an exact figure. That said, expect it to be around $100,000 or a little more for the Emira First Edition here..
By Smokey Go To PostNeed that Charger EV. Hoping the range and charging times are adequate.

Can’t hear you over that 700HP exhaust note
Come again?

..the interior could use some work.
It's ugly at least the Corvette is only ugly from behind everything else about it is competent but an overweight monstrousity with that hideous interior is not worth it for 700hp. Would quicker buy a Tesla than that thing.
CT5-V Blackwing is the big dog in this space IMO. Price isn't too far off the Charger and you can get it with a manual. Plus it's just a way more handsome vehicle. I mean...
I cycle past this place in Marton on one of my regular cycling routes. Loads more empty lotus shells than you see here.
2022 Mercedes-AMG C 63 prototype sounds lifeless lapping the 'RingNot even gonna bother posting the rest. Headline says it all. RIP. (It's the 4-cyl hybrid)
Bruh NYC on some shit
There was this roundabout that wasn’t a true roundabout but that fake one with stop signs, it has a different name but I can’t recall
Anyway they changed that section to have stop lights now
The whole fuckin point of a roundabout is to keep traffic flowing, adding traffic lights is the exact opposite of that

Wait what? The only roundabout I know that NYC has is Columbus Circle. Where is other magical roundabout you've found? Oh and north Central Park, too. But I've never been on them.

Ohhhh damn. I forgot about that. I went through it a lot, I lived in Rego Park and my friend worked at that Fresh Meadows Starbucks for years. That's fucking stupid they did that, though.
The all-electric Porsche Taycan outsold the German automaker's iconic internal combustion-powered 911 sports car in the first nine months of the year, a milestone for the EV that was introduced in late 2019.... oh
By Lunatic Go To PostNot 9? meh. ICEs start singing at 8900. Sorry smokey it's a wrap.
9000 is the fuel cutoff. 8600 is the redline (where peak power is made)
Was behind a 370z today and it sounded worse than a lawnmower. I have to believe the guy modded his car to make it sound that thin and weak.

This thing sounds insane. ZR1 gonna be spooky.

Anyone have a suggestion for a good tire repair kit? I'm not too concerned with price because I want something that won't randomly break on me. These seem to all have some good reviews:
There are also those Slime kits I'm considering.
