doesn't matter what's wrong with him, mavs are just going to throw away any hopes of trade leverage over it? they need to grow up and realize this is a lost season and nerlens isn't going to be here next year. Play the guy as many minutes as his fragile twig body can handle, watch his stats and highlight plays go up, and praise him every chance you can get as the best thing since crying jordan...how hard is that?

They already don't have any trade leverage over him due to him playing out his rookie contract instead of signing an extension.

contenders wouldn't take a rental if he plays to his potential before the deadline? there are a few teams that could dump a salary + a pick for a guy who can is 7 feet and can switch and guard multiple positions and rebound at a high level.
