By zon Go To PostAt work atm but Benromach whisky is a Speyside type, so it's on the sweet/smooth end of the spectrum. I bought some special type they had made I think but I can't check right now, the bottle was 1 litre instead of the usual 70 cl.
Cool, I am always willing to try new whiskeys when I am out or in a shop. Still relatively new to the whole single malt game(I think I bought my first bottle around two or three years ago.
I'd also recommend Hibiki to anyone who hasn't tried it before. Wonderful taste and the bottle is the most beautiful whisky bottle I've seen.

My father has been collecting whisky for 20 years so I've been able to test a wide variety of whisky for the last 12 years. Caol Ila is another one that I think has a special taste and I haven't come across anything that is similar.

Now I ain't saying he a golddigger...

By Shanks D Zoro Go To PostNice. Enjoy. The offer to ship you a bunch still stands m8!

Thanks, there is a shop near me that sells a lot of stuff now.
You got anything you would recommend. Will have a look next time I am in.
By Fenderputty Go To PostDodgers won. Busted out the Noah's Mill bourbon again. An Ace inspired cigar too🙌🏾
If you like the dark beers like the St Bernardus 12, I'd look for : Bourgogne des Flanders (It's kinda sweet) Chimay Triple (kind of a light brown beer)
Orval (very hard to find, even here but if you do, one of the best there is)
Blond: Leffe (pretty common but very nice) they have a brown and a 9 % version aswell, but the Royale is still the best.
And La Chouffe is always a great choice :)

I paid about $60 dollars for a single West 12. I enjoyed it immensenly. Obviously it is not a $60 beer, but the find it in Korea was amazing and worth the price for the expoerience of drinking it once.
Thanks. Will have a look next time I am there.

I bought some Laphroaig for a friend I'm visiting as a gift, only to be informed that he no longer drinks alcohol and he couldn't accept it. So now I've got a bottle to drink, and even though it's still just the 10 year variant, coming in at only 25 gbp, it's still a damn fine whisky over ice.
Only bad part is that I'm such a quick drinker, I'll get drunk off this in no time even when I've already had enough since I always like to be sipping something.

Drank a dram of Laphroaig Triple Wood a couple days ago.
WOW
What a peaty scotch.
Sorry Quarter Cask, Triple Wood is my new favourite Laphroaig.

I spotted a bottle of Glenfiddich 15 in my parent's garage. Gonna have to ask about that tomorrow and by that I mean crack it open. I'm guessing my dad got it as a gift and has no idea about it.
I would love to try some Lagavulin some time but that price tag, even at bars, I'd rather just blow money on the bottle at a store.
I treated myself to a bottle of Lagavulin 16 for my 30th last year. Worth every penny. It's "only" $100 but you should buy it as a special occasion bottle.
What gets me about those is one could always just buy liquor and drown it in a bunch of mixers themselves instead of drinking that nasty sugar syrupy shit.
By Hitch Go To PostIrn Bru as perIt's ok. You're a simple man we understand. Like psy.
You can shove your whiskey up your arse
