By s y Go To PostWhole bench about to be free when Jimmy and KAT catch a couple stress fractures.Yikes.
The Teague injury was a freak accident. Denver player fell into his leg. I don't know what we're supposed to do about that.
By diehard Go To PostThey went from a -6.88 (worst in the league) to -3.45 MOV in a year. Like, what kind of improvement did you expect?
It's weird. They feel like they play harder, better and are more competitive night in night out compared to last year. Luke has them playing better defensively and some young guys (including Randle) have made steps in the right direction. I feel like we could end up with a worse record than last year though lol
By KingGondo Go To PostAdams has finally taken the leap this year. He has been awesome.
Look who shows up when the thunder win 5 in a row.
By Dark PhaZe Go To PostWhen you know you're gonna be over the cap regardless, these kinds of signings mean less. The real question is what was the highest he could get from a team that didn't have his bird rights? That's the true market value price. And we kind of saw guys that should have gotten more become a recipient of that market whiplash that teams got from two summers ago.
But Phoenix could end up paying Len 14 million plus a year as a team that knows they probably won't be in a position to grab a premier free agent for a minute. Any other team? I think his price is around 10 a season.
By diehard Go To PostLook up Mason Plumlee's numbers last year and then look at the $41 million he got.lol. PHX aren't the ones paying Len. We've still got Tyson on the books, and Bender coming through.
I don't think either Favors OR Len should get that money. Mason is more athletic than both. But that doesn't mean Denver didn't fuck up also.
Particularly not with teams getting very close to capped out with the salary cap flat lining.
By diehard Go To PostGreen had that one year in Phoenix where he shot really well from 3, wonder why he dropped off.Cause he's a volume streak shooter. When he's on, he's REALLY on. When he's off ... you lost the game.
By DY_nasty Go To Postbut we can't play monkPlaying Monk at PG is also really, really dumb.
nope
By Doomsayer Go To PostPlaying Monk at PG is also really, really dumb.at least monk can get streaky and go off for 17 in a quarter. mcw can get lucky and look like an nba player
By s y Go To PostDon't fret Smokey, the cavalry has arrived
About time. Wonder if this lasts longer than the Canaan signing. All the best to you, Green.
Briante Weber is avg 0.3 ppg and 0.7 apg this year, and this is who we have to trot out because of cp3 injury. Gawd.
By pilonv1 Go To PostBriante Weber couldn't even beat out MCW for a spot on the HornetsHe is trash. He couldn't even look aight in Summer League.
By Smokey Go To PostGood start. Would like Ryan Anderson to not suck ass.why people hate him? he is a good 3 pt shooter.
By s y Go To PostHe is trash. He couldn't even look aight in Summer League.
I thought the Warriors were smart to bring him in but then he did nothing for them. Seems like an empty numbers guy in the G-League
Man, y'all going in on a dude who's meant to be a 4th string point guard. :/
Leads the G League in steals. Is only there to play defense (though he looks out of control most of the time) and be a body while Paul is out.

By unknown Go To Postwhy people hate him? he is a good 3 pt shooter.Think fans are frustrated we're paying $20m to a guy who averages 10 and 5.
For me, it's that he doesn't shoot when he should. There was a stretch where he had scored 2 points total over three games. Games in which the team would work to get him an open shot, he'd hesitate, pump fake, fail to drive and then pass it out for a terrible shot.
He plays better with Paul, but he needs to find a way out of that mentality without CP3.

By rodeoclown Go To PostSince Andrew Wiggins hired a shooting coach, he's 10/16 from 3. Coincidence?I've never seen somebody so unhappy with a team on pace for 50 wins, lol.
Yes, yes, it is.
In this era of the Warriors, regular season wins are all the rest of us got.

The new Clippers
By diehard Go To Postrodeo was begging for a treadmill playoff teamYeah, the part about making the playoffs for a bunch of years and losing in the first/second round is fine. I'd rather them put a decent product on the floor than not and when they have Towns and Butler, they'll win more than they lose.
It's the other parts I don't like. The Wiggins contract, signing Teague, the rotation and minutes issues. I guess it's mostly the idea that this is pretty much this team and how they got here was a bad use of assets and cap space. They don't have depth besides Tyus and he barely plays.
The best hope for this team to get better from where they are today is to pursue a Wiggins for multiple rotation guys trade and Thibs won't do it.
By diehard Go To Postrodeo was begging for a treadmill playoff teamthe best they can hope for is to not be dead by april at this point
By DY_nasty Go To Postyou see a 50 win team, but anyone else sees the pinnacle of a treadmillHouston's more of a treadmill team than Minnesota. This'll be their first playoff appearance in 14 years.

Playoff experience plus KAT and Wiggins becoming better than trash tier on defense, and that team has room for improvement.
Wiggins just needs to become a positive contributor period. If this shooting coach actually pays off, that's awesome and he's getting closer to being worth that contract. He isn't the featured player on offense anymore and he has to adapt and be able to hit the open shots, snag rebounds, do that sort of stuff.
I don't know that he will, but that's his path to success.

Also probably need to remove Thibs from being GM.
Tony Brothers has got money on this game.
Harden is 1-8, with a bunch of turnovers and D'Antoni won't pull him out this quarter.
