By Kabro Go To Postknicks are back!
I think Lavar did extremely well by Lonzo. Basically overhyped him into second overall when he was mostly a late lotto talent based on resume. This thing with Lamelo and LiAngelo is low key child abuse though.

he fucked all that up contributing to that bs in china - and with no lamelo coming around the arrangement is over

I have no real insight into the fam beyond Lavar's shit and all but just because he did right by him financially, that isn't everything.

It's still not too late for the younger two. They can still get free rides to a decent 4 year education, and/or become stronger players if he lets them be coached for a few years by a decent basketball guru.
Lavar just strikes me as the kind of guy who would rather see them fail then see them succeed without his stamp of approval. Hope I'm wrong and he does the right thing by them.
leangelo shouldn't even be D1A at all lol. dude got the lil romeo scholarship and then UCLA had to bail his ass out of china. there's no way he was gonna finish the year in UCLA of all schools after that
lavar taking the fall with the 'bad dad' narrative is the best thing for all involved

Eh people act like he's terrible but he put up numbers. Booker put up similar numbers and ended up as a bench guy for Kentucky. So I think a bench guy for UCLA was earned.
I don't think the China think would have ultimately mattered if he stuck it out because he was going to need at least 2 years in school anyway and it would have been forgotten in a year. Him not transferring and leaving school entirely? No shot.
Lamelo has no shot unless he goes to Europe and balls the fuck out. In fact it might be wise if he went there now and developed.

Lamelo like 6'6 now tho and only 16. He has a chance to best of the 3.
why did dj augustin have to leave us mang ;_;
the entire family has been straight up with the fact that liangelo's future was gonna be outside of sports too. this basketball thing was just a handout for him. he'll probably end up in some other nice-ish semi sports school (lol usc amirite) but he'll be fine. just couldn't stay there given his circumstances.

It only matters if the NBA is willing to expand or allow a team to move

Letting Smart be completely free down the stretch seems like it could backfire in Jarrett Jack kinda ways.

By blackace Go To PostIt only matters if the NBA is willing to expand or allow a team to moveI don't know. It seems like the league would rather use it as leverage for every other team trying to swindle an arena out of their city.
Hopefully Seattle likes hockey...
By DY_nasty Go To Postkemba low key top 5 pg
he's lookin at the pixels out there
He's awesome, but the thing is there's some dudes out there right now. Top 5 in the East if we're being real. I'll give him his due, he's legit and a two-way player and everything to that to that team. But Russ-Curry-Kyrie-Paul-Wall-Lowry-IT-Conley are all in line in front of him atm. I am first in line for the "I knew it" crew if IT falls off.
By pilonv1 Go To PostWarriors don't start playing until they're down 20 it seemsAye. I'm not relieved unless it is a 20 point lead with two minutes left.

most of those guys can't be bothered to play defense for three possessions in a row, let alone be accountable for a full 48. dude also protects the ball unlike anyone else at the position. then you look at what the team does without him? gdlk don't quote me tho
i don't know how this is the same team that couldn't hit shit for like 3 straight games. Snyder should be COTY for getting this talent to be the #1 offense over any stretch of the season lol

By Sho_Nuff82 Go To PostI think Giannis dropped 40 without taking a single jumper.
He's my dark horse for MVP. And by dark horse, I mean just fucking give it to him if it's not Lebron at the end of the year.

By livefromkyoto Go To PostHe's my dark horse for MVP. And by dark horse, I mean just fucking give it to him if it's not Lebron at the end of the year.Giannis has zero chance, on a low seeded team.Literally Pol PotHarden is exempt.

But playoffs.
By kjack Go To PostGiannis has zero chance, on a low seeded team. They are a game out of the 5th seed, and we know how that can work out.
(It's Harden or Lebron)

Giannis low key angling to play Toronto in the first round again.
