By rodeoclown Go To PostI think my favorite thing about the Wolves right now is that our announcers are getting increasingly depressed by the team defense.
I don't know what you're talking about
KAT is the best offensive center in the league other than KP, but he really could learn how to play defense.
Like... He's super athletic so he should be able to be good at this.

Ahhhhh the stream encoder that Vue is using freaks out on closeups involving the red collars of the Rockets' uniforms.
By xnipx Go To PostI still don’t understand how Towns is good at defense in 2k. What are they watching?he did promotional stuff for them
Towns is really a testament to the idea that the NBA passed Thibs by and is living off an unearned reputation. He's been yelling at Towns for a year and a half now and the dude hasn't improved one iota on that end of the floor. Nor has Wiggins.
That Towns/Wiggins/Teague triumvirate/horror show is the reason this team as currently constructed can never be really good. (Teague's ball watching drives me crazy. Dude is the anti-Rubio on defense.)

By joefu Go To PostI hope the Mavs can trade Nerlens for a few bags of hot dog buns. Not sure what the deal with the guy is lol.doesn't matter what's wrong with him, mavs are just going to throw away any hopes of trade leverage over it? they need to grow up and realize this is a lost season and nerlens isn't going to be here next year. Play the guy as many minutes as his fragile twig body can handle, watch his stats and highlight plays go up, and praise him every chance you can get as the best thing since crying jordan...how hard is that?
By linsivvi Go To PostWhy am I even watching this game? Some shit needs to be seen to be believed.

Welp, that's always an encouraging sign. I'm sure they just want to gather themselves tonight and figure out how best to deliver the good news in the morning. : /
Surprised they aren't hanging onto it until Friday afternoon to release at 5:30pm like any other bad news you want to hide
By Fenderputty Go To PostTrash gameKuzma is the only reason I am still watching.
By Kibner Go To PostThey already don't have any trade leverage over him due to him playing out his rookie contract instead of signing an extension.contenders wouldn't take a rental if he plays to his potential before the deadline? there are a few teams that could dump a salary + a pick for a guy who can is 7 feet and can switch and guard multiple positions and rebound at a high level.
By linsivvi Go To PostKuzma is the only reason I am still watching.when was the last time a non lottery player overshadowed a top 2 pick?
I keep thinking when Luke is putting in Kuz.
Lonzo? not so much.

He's Roberson with worse perimeter defense and less range.

The Ball Rules
If Lonzo Ball is facing a low IQ PG/undersized, or one allergic to D - He'll have a good game.

Opponent Tonight - Chris Paul
2 pts. (0-4 FG, 0-3 3PA) 1 reb, 3 assts., 2 blks, 3 TOs, and a +/- of -9

I dunno, I see a whole bunch of fucking up going on there. The first one, not sure how it's KAT's fault, they've got two guys covering the screen and the shooter still gets space and hits the shot.
That second one, someone should have rotated under the basket or dropped down on the arc. That dude in the corner was going to be wide open.
Not that he's doing anything to stop either of those baskets, but it's not all on him there. They just look disorganized and somehow can't figure out spacing.

At least he didn't get shut out. That would have been embarrassing.

This sort of thing happens all the time when a team drafts a bust. Sometimes it's the GM pressuring the coach, sometimes it's the coach not trying to piss off his boss by making him look bad.
Somewhere, Sam Mitchell just had a shiver go down his spine as he had a flashback of filling out Rafael Araujo's name on starting lineup cards.
By linsivvi Go To PostHe had a good game against Curry though…Curry has always been weak on D and it's been said plays with less than half a brain at times.
