By diehard Go To Postwithout looking at any stats i would have to go with Otto PorterYeah, Covington was putting up near identical numbers to Otto across the board earlier in the year.
By Smoke Dogg Go To PostIf charlotte is serious about a Clarkson trade, let's trade him for dwightstahp posting.
Tatum is really good but I think people should also pump their breaks a bit. He is the 4th option in Boston and lives off of open jumpers. His defense is better than expected and he actually does more than score and isn't as iso reliant as expected but too many people are crowning him a star right now. He is in a great situation where he can focus on small things and hit open shots. He has been exposed because Stevens is a god and make sure he doesn't have to try anything difficult.
not hating but yeah dude is kinda on the Warriors Harrison Barnes Workout Plan right now.

By Smoke Dogg Go To PostTatum was the true steal of the draft. Literally didn't hear/read shit about him until Celtics officially selected him. Literally nobody was talking about him before then; maybe you guys (Slaent) were talking about him but nobody on GAF (that I recall) was talking about him.Tatum was being hyped as the next Melo, but not a bum. And, yeah, this draft was talked about as deep. there was also a good bit of talk before the draft that Lonzo should be drafted closer to 7 than 1, but everyone out him at 2 because Magic made no bones about Lonzo being his pick for weeks/months prior to the draft.
By Smokey Go To PostHow are you literally restricted to going one way for a pull up? And you in the league? You can't do what 4 year olds can do in a youth YMCA league?Did you not watch that Gilbert breakdown? His gather makes it super easy to defend when trying to go right. This was also known before the draft.
By diehard Go To PostImage how scary X team would be if they got every draft pick right. The Thunder had a good run.
I wont say Lonzo sucks till at least midway through his second season.

well Harrison Barnes cost the warriors a ring because he couldn't do that...

yeah idk why folks were surprised by that. if you watched him play for 5 mins ever you'd see it's like...not possible for him to shoot going right.
By Kabro Go To PostI'm a low key fan of ok4's post game.I want him to do well too if not just for the lulz
hope he flourishes in Brooklyn
Nik Stauskas's NBA career:
Sacramento, Philly, Brooklyn
What in the fuck did this guy do in a prior life to be reincarnated into this living hell?

oh no thats this life.
Dude was given more than enough time to show he was worth a damn. He gets too shook by the bright lights
Brooklyn's GM really is performing masterworks over this last year. To go from zero picks to getting two top 5 picks and a second for the cost of cap space and a 30 year old tweener is pretty significant.
In fairness Booker may be better longterm than Stauskas and Okafor. Jah has talent but boy, he needs a super coaching staff to fix him. He's lazier than KAT at general hustle but KAT kinda has an excuse some nights where he gets frozen.

He's a 30 year old power forward who can't shoot threes. How much long term does he have left?

Was more of a rhetorical question/thought as in how do you get this far and not correct it at some point along the way.
By livefromkyoto Go To PostHe's a 30 year old power forward who can't shoot threes. How much long term does he have left?Stauskas and Jah legit may be out of the league in 3 years if they don't clean up their act. Booker can at least play on the bench for a contender.
Kanter is Jah's ceiling now, i don't think Philly will look back and say "oh man we really messed up trading him" like say, the Lakers could.
By friskykillface Go To PostTatum 🐐yeah I don't know if Jah is going to equal wins this year.. dude is basically a 3rd year rookie..
Cavs sweatn’ at that nets trade
Ainge knew all along
Booker shot 34.5% from three in Utah and 32.5% last year for the Nets. He's a great bench player, not sure where his minutes in Philly will come from though.

He was a 1-4 lock... One of the concerns was his hitched release in the NBA but that seems to be no problem.. people were also wondering if he would get PT on the Cs..
Also Tatum & Brown sounds like a lawfirm

These are his 3-point numbers throughout his career. Note the average number of made shots:
I'm really not prepared to check off the "can shoot 3s" box for a guy who peaked at less than half a made shot per game.

Don't be jelly he's got a better career high from 3 than Demar

Ouch.
But I guess I can't really check that box off for him, either.
He'll get there!
I'm gonna guess your "Invalid Video URL" post before that edit was that of Demar making a three-pointer, but the joke was on you, LFK.
By Smokey Go To PostWas more of a rhetorical question/thought as in how do you get this far and not correct it at some point along the way.Arenas answered that too.
Interviewer: He's had all these trainers, and people at UCL-
Arenas: But has he?
Interviewer: I mean, i feel that Lavar would get him all of the trainers that he needs...
Arenas: I think Lavar himself has been training his kids. If you're training, all of the time, in the backyard, by yourself, you don't see what works and what doesn't work.

No, it was me trying to post an 'ouch' gif from Giphy with an IMG tag, nothing appearing, trying again with VIDEO, getting invalid, then saying "fuck it, I'm just going to type the word ouch."
