I wouldn’t be happy if I was paying money to go each week and the football was shit. Is it satisfying to win stuff when a disproportionate amount of the enjoyment is in the outcome and not the process? When people say stuff like “all I care about is top four”, why? So you can watch the same football on a Tuesday/Wednesday?

Does that not imply that it’s a struggle for anyone below fourth to play good football?
I caught a rerun of our game vs. Roma and I think it easily slots into our top 3 performances this season so far. The first 70 minutes were a tactical masterclass from Allegri and we deserved at least a three goal lead. Putting Mandzukic on Florenzi was key. Such was the mismatch between the two, it was almost unfair. Huge props to Szczesny. He must've delivered at least 20 perfect passes to Mario, who got the ball every single time, and that's on top of a couple of absolutely brilliant saves. Magnificent performance by the once Arsenal lad, truly. Roma have amazing keeper coaches. It shows with Alisson as well, who went from legit shit keeper to one of the best in the league in a matter of months.

I agree. It's lovely to win. But 99.9% of football fans don't get that feeling often enough, so are we saying they can't enjoy football?
Obviously Fergie had some dire matches and seasons, but we typically won all the time when we were boring which compensated.

Yeah quite enjoying them, however Brad is as usual always a fucking bitch. Seriously, he is such a fucking bitch when it comes to these. Abby is such a great addition, but seems like she lets them all push over her arguments too easily, but her first year with goty and everything.
Generally I feel like only the beastcast is worth listening to these days. While I appreciate Jeff, it's just boring to listen to the normal one now. Brad is boring, Ben has added nothing, and Jason... He only plays Monster Hunter.
I'm coming back around to GB after a few years of being tired of them. With Dan moving to GB East I feel the teams are separate enough that he's easier to ignore. Abby is a great addition to the crew as well. Ben is dull, but not offensively so.

I would say it kind of has gotten a few times. I don't remember when it was (the one where Skyrim won?), but there was a year where everyone just gave up with him in the end, to have peace. It's extremely out of place, for how light hearted most of the rest takes it.
But I must say, I am really enjoying them again this year, after also a few years of not really listening to it all.

Ha, idk I feel like Brad has caved in on the past. I agree most of the lightness and generally "wackiness" for lack of a better term is on the beastcast. Jeff is now married and older so he's not as off the rails as before but it peaks through, dude really lost his right hand man, which I think left him to take on all of the responsibilities when it comes tp steering the ship. Abby does add a good new prespectice, Ben is just Eyore and I enjoy Jason 🤷🏾♂️.

Somehow luckily forgot about Patrick, which is weird considering Abby is 95% identical to him lookswise. He seemed like a well meaning guy, but God... I couldn't take him anymore in the end. The way he always spoke as some authority on subjects he knew nothing of was quite annoying. But he was probably the one of them most resembling an actual journalist... But that's not really what I listen to their stuff for.
