By Laboured Go To PostWhelp…It's okay injuries don't matter.
Calling it now, United will have over double the amount of injuries Man City have and people will say fraudiola won the league with just his sheer 'brilliance'.
By Doicare Go To PostIt's okay injuries don't matter. You're an idiot. And City have had quite a few injuries to defenders this season including being down to essentially 2 CBs at the moment.

Have to say, I am shocked that Jumanji is getting good reviews.. it looked pretty terrible and The Rock has made some stinkers as of late. I'll see it now for sure.

By Meier Go To PostYou're an idiot. And City have had quite a few injuries to defenders this season including being down to essentially 2 CBs at the moment. You do realise that so far this season United have already had over double the injuries that City have had & as we speak United have more players out injured than City as well.
The improvement in some City players such as Otemendi and Sterling makes me think Peps cheeky Spanish doctors have found a new formula
I'm sad for Bailly, and I honestly think a part of it was Mou's fault.
He has played while injured more than a couple of times last season. We marveled at how it seemed he was playing at top condition, but it's easy to forget that these players are just human.
Now I hope I'm wrong, but can't help thinking these are related considering he had been mysteriously injured (barring a couple of games in between) since the start of the season.

Every team deals with them.
Regardless of that, anyone who uses "Fraudiola" is a total idiot.
By Francis Go To PostBerahino (who hasn't scored since 27 February, 2016)Spurs fucking lucked out of that one.
By Meier Go To PostI don't know if your stat is accurate or not, but I know Utd have had major issues with Pogba and some CBs, but these injuries don't exist in a bubble. Every team deals with them.Yep the stat is accurate. A trend i've noticed with a lot of posters is they tend to only focus on their team and don't really pay attention to the misfortunes of others, so even when they're having a lucky season in terms of injuries, refs or results they still think that things are balanced or even their team is the one having bad luck.
Regardless of that, anyone who uses "Fraudiola" is a total idiot.
For the record City this year have had Mendy out for most of the season, Kompany half the season and then Gundogan, Stones and Augero out for a few games each. Everybody else has only missed one or zero games.
United on the other hand have had Ibrahimovic, Rojo, Shaw and Carrick injured for all or most of the season, Pogba, Bailly and Fellaini out for over half the season, Jones, Smalling, Mata, Lingard, Herrera, Lindelof out for a few games each.
Just because all teams get injuries doesn't mean they get the same amount, an equal amount of 'skill' won't over come one team having double the injuries of another team.
People will stop calling Pep - Fraudiola once he wins with a team that either aren't already the dominant force in the league or have spent the most amount of money while their opponents suffer with significantly more injuries and dodgy ref decisions.
Eh, part of why United has had so many injuries is not down to luck, it's due to a) playing with niggling injuries that gets worse in time and b) playing while exhausted, that makes getting grevious injuries like the ACLs easier.
Pogba's hamstring has been a recurring injury, and that's also probably down to him not taking it easy during pre-season by having basketball games constantly.

The depth City has this season is also helping them win games around stoppage time, and the rotation it enables help them have less injuries that they could have had.
Can't deny that their buying power is a signifcant reason why they are currently dominating the league, as how much you can't deny that after Pep managed City he has helped improve some of the players' overall play considerably.

well yeah, i don't think many city fans would deny that. football is a money sport. only united and chelsea should be competing with us. it's why i am always super impressed by spurs when their first 11 are fit.
Really, considering City has so much buying power that they can afford to release a few squad players to free up the wage bill, and then spend a few hundred million to get the players that they want is a sight to behold.
Not to mention already having a stacked squad up front, players that are often the ones that cost a ton so they could use the money to patch the areas that they are weak at.
The two closest teams with great buying power, United and Chelsea cant even dream of doing this,

Sometimes I think pound for pound, Poch is a much better manager than Pep. He has built Tottenham from a club barely in the top 4 to a team that can beat the likes of Madrid.
Pitt the current injury crisis and move to wemblet has hurt his team's chances somewhat.
Oh so now the gulf in wealth is apparant but for the past two summers the club (utd) and fans alike have acted like they're financially rubbing shoulders with city.
Sorry but no, I can take that argument from anyone else but not Utd. You have the highest turnover in the world, most valuable club, etc etc as we've all heard for the past two years.
I imagine there is very little city could do that utd financially cant. And if there is we're talking a negligable difference.
If Jose really wants Rose you will stump up the £50 million without batting an eyelid.

While in some key areas City have better players, in terms of squad depth United and City are equal. It has nothing to do with Pep being smarter or better, City have had significantly less injuries so he has had the opportunity to rotate more.

no doubt, whole heartidly agree which is why i didnt even mention cheslea. because when operating in the self sufficient manner chelsea has chelsea cant compete with the manchester clubs no one can. And whatever the means (whether it was ran as a business or a rich mans toy thing) man utd have acted and spent as if there equal so i just cant here that noise.
Like chelsea come closest to net spend in past 5 seasons and even then its over utd have still spent over 100% more. Financial power is an excuse everyone else BUT utd can use for city's dominance.
Did you save any pets today?
No pets today. Planned on going to the movies all day but my mother's husband who's in the hospital has gone missing. He's literally losing his mind at 67. So I had go deal with that. Having a late McDonald's lunch now.

united will outspend us next summer
Who gives a fuck about the transition to legitimate business when it's been kickstarted by somebody pouring hundreds of millions of pounds into it
