By batong Go To PostThat fucking Mane chanceAnnoying innit. Weak foot, doesn't set himself properly, and off the back of a run of games where we've scored a boatload of goals through unselfish play.

Had the worst match day. My mate overslept because he worked the night shift, showed up for the second half. So I sat alone in the pub for the first half, that miserable dreck of a half. Then he shows up, City score, Lukaku misses, then he leaves right after the game is done. I sit alone and wallow in my misery for a bit, then I go home. Miserable performance. At least beer exists.

Watched the game, this team is made up of plenty of average players who could quite easily be playing for a mid table team. So many times they just bottle it under a hint of pressure, no quality on the ball.
With the money we have spent, the team hasn't improved enough. Herrera, Young, Mata, Fellaini, Darmian, Blind, Smalling, Rojo (probably others too) who all need improving on. Lukaku needs to step it up again too. Hope he can improve but I expect much more from his link-up and hold up play. Finishing has been very poor recently too. Would take him running less if it meant he improved in all the other areas of his game.
There are 6 players currently who should be def starters:
De Gea
Martial
Pogba
Valencia
Matic
Bailly
Hope Lindelof comes good and irons out mistakes he makes. Still need to find a LB who can play constantly and is very good (Alex Sandro). Get another CM in because Pogba and Matic isn't good enough defensively against the very best teams. Find a RW who can naturally play on the RW and has the ability to take his man on. Find a CAM who isn't Lingard or Micky. Decide on what to do with Rashford as he shouldn't be playing on the RW (imo) and I would start him over Lukaku at the moment as Striker. But doubt Mou does that to a 90m striker.
---
Salah goal was sensational.
Damari Gray has been doing well too.

By Xpike Go To PostOnly Larry understands me. I met some actor folk who sat down at my table after the game. I met the only actors in the world who would only have one beer then piss off home. What happened to a healthy drunken artistic temperament?
By FortuneFaded Go To PostI don't see how Martial is a definite starter any more than Rashford is.He's a better dribbler and decision maker on the ball. Is two years older though so Rashford will catch up eventually. I'd start them both for every game.
By Cleff Go To PostBit more serious than initially reportedLukaku finally got a strike in our favor today.
I'll see myself out

"Mourinho was thought to have gone to the door of City’s dressing room to ask their players to show more respect amid apparent disappointment over the way the Premier League leaders were celebrating their 2-1 win, as music blared from the visiting team dressing room"

I'm just glad his decline and tactical acumen isn't as bad as Poch's, Wenger's, Klopp's and Conte's.

It's a shame that passion alone can't win football matches. When tempered by insecurity and inability it matters not much at all. I feel like the word bottle suggests glass in some way though, which I assume isn't accurate. If one describes a person as hitting someone with a bottle, one hardly imagines a plastic drinking bottle, but in this case, that is almost guaranteed to be the case. Basically, I throw a plastic bottle at someone and I can hardly imagine the cut being much at all to fuss about. Bunch of idiots throwing plastic around.

What an absolute penis. Someone post the gif of him running the field sticking his finger in the air and mocking Pep when he won the Champions League. Mourinho is brilliant but class is not one of his attributes.
Pep is his kryptonite. Fuck I'm going to be flat when Pep leaves in a couple of years.
Reading the article, looks like City's players the one that made it worse, and that's surprising.
Wont be surprised if it's Lukaku who will get the worst or only punishment though.
