By Pele.gif Go To PostAt least i wont have to read another one of those n8 "im so happy to have lukaku here, his attitude, his character, his touch, i love him" posts todaywhy? like I said, he was good in those games.
Very much looking forward to Viva's tho
No one's defending him in this game. He was shit. I'll give him credit when it's due, but none when he's poor.
Don't expect him to lose his place though, I dont know who we can depend on to lead the front line. Ibra is probably the obvious choice, but does he have the pace now?
By Mushroom Go To PostWell, at least all our rivals dropped points. Someone needs to beat City at the very least this season, can't have Pep take "The Invincibles" title from papa Wenger.
overrated achievement tbh
much rather have won that game against barcelona
By Francis Go To PostCongrats on the league title, City-SL&ENT.Nah we can do better and we will. This is City's peak
It's still 2017 but well deserved.
Mourinho is not winning it at United. This was the season.

does pace matter when your feet don't work?
lukaku is useless at this point.
if not ibra, then most definitely rashford.

because imo some of you guys are overrating Lukaku a lot this season.
He has been decent, but nowhere near what he should already have being delivering.

By Mushroom Go To PostGood teams create their luck innit. Doicare, I don't think football or any sport really is the thing for you. Maybe pachinko ball machines is in your lane. Not really, the best team doesn't always win or score. There have been countless trophies won thanks to luck.

We've got a nice run of games coming up so all we can do is capitalise when others fuck up, at least consolidate 2nd for now.
One thing we all can agree on is how garbage Lukaku has been. He has no balance, a terrible first touch, average passing and heading ability and when he's not scoring he pretty much adds nothing to the game but instead ends up being a liability because he loses the ball so often.

Also on Rashford, I'd love him to be our no.9 one day. Just think he's not ready yet.
By Fergie Go To PostPogba is so instrumental.what the fuck hahaha its moving
Pep is very fortunate that his batshit subs didn’t cost them the points. City ceased to exist after Jesus went off.

If it wasn't for the fact that Morata clearly wants to be playing in Italy or Spain instead i'd much rather have him than Lukaku.

I think you'll give Mou another season, but he better deliver, by deliver i mean win the league at least.
This kind of football with the amount of money you are spending for a club like United is not good enough.
By domino Go To PostNah we can do better and we will. This is City's peakIs it? Besides David Silva, everyone that Pep has recruited is just hitting their peaks or still has a few years and will be integral to the team for the next coming seasons.
I think Pep's subs was fine. He needs those players to be fresh in the upcoming games. Also it's not like our front 3 was being a threat.

why do people still pay attention to doicare
Lukaku needs to actively look for ways to improve his weaknesses, he managed to get by on Everton with natural talent and I think he thought he could do the same here

Pound for pound City are just clearly better technically, more pace in important area and better movement.
I expected a loss so I'm not disappointed.

Even if United has a 300 million transfer kitty it will probably not be enough to buy us what we need, and we need quite a few considering how old our most dependable fullbacks are.
Next season's transfer window will be tough on everyone.
It's tough
At Everton Lukaku didnt have to play against the smaller teams playing wih 10 men behind the ball. He had more space. Worse teammates tho.
At United he has a much better squad to assist him, but will face pretty much almost every team playing with 10 men behind the ball.
He needs to adapt to this new scenario. He's struggling atm.

At the very least, next season we need
- 2 new fullbacks
- 1 new midfielder, since Fellaini is leaving
- a left winger
- rotation option for Lukaku

By bone Go To PostJust saw Klopp's post game interview. What a sensational meltdownhe's just disappointed by his mother's disappointment
yep, you can tell that he is a sore loser
Lukaku and Pogba showed their value against Arsenal. But it's understandable to be disappointed in a fresh result.

FP we can't please anyone man (including most of our own fans)
we spend a zillion bucks people complain about that. we approach every game tactically people complain about that. we attack too much people say we look suspect. we play good defense and people say we spent too much money to do that.
dont entertain them.

Our squad is defo better than Ev's but like I said earlier, for Manchester United and for the amount of money we have spent, to have only three top players is mental.
Lot of very good options - Mata, Bailly, Valencia, Matic - and potential - Rash, Lukaku, Martial - but we have Pogba, Zlatan (who is coming back from a horrendous injury) and De Gea. That's it for our entire squad. It's not good enough considering how much we spend.

So in a way, we are getting better at transfers, just a lot of deadwood during the LVG years.

We need:
3 cbs at least
1 defensive minded cm
2 players to replace our 2 best players
Sell Walcott
And a manager of course
What we will get:
Positive net spend
By Pele.gif Go To PostWe need:Watch as Chelsea, City and United spend 60 million signing average players, making it harder for Wenger :/

I do envy how City have handled their transfers lately and a lot of that comes down to Pep. Everyone and their mother knew Pep was going to City and the club was getting prepared for him, buying his kind of player before he even got there. Meanwhile we had Moyes, LVG and now Mou all with different ideas and requirements.
By FlutterPuffs Go To PostWatch as Chelsea, City and United spend 60 million signing average players, making it harder for Wenger :/Chelsea? We aren't in the same class of spend as City and United, unfortunately.
Mou being a cunt during the post match conference, but it wouldnt be enough to stop people from giving Herrera and Lukaku shit over this game.

With LVG it's Herrera, Schneiderlin, Shaw, Depay, Schweinsteinger, Rojo, Darmian, Blind, Di Maria, Falcao and Martial...
Out of all this, 5 has left, and a lot of them were pretty shit.
Lukaku by the numbers...not so hot.
Completed 6 of 16 passes.
Won 7 of 18 duals.
This is obviously compounded by the error that led to the goal.

The only good thing he did for this game was letting his beard grow back
