The curious case of Branislav Ivanovic
Branislav "Bravo" Ivanovic is a football player. He plays for Chelsea London.
The strange thing about him is that while lauded for his attacking presence which is a semi-regular source of goals, he has also been critisized for his defending. Some call him the best RB in the league, though some of his biggest detractors are actually Chelsea fans, Noticed that a lot of Chelsea fans have given hi ma lot of shit over the least few years. Is this fair?
Now, his endless attacking forways are obviously a tactical instruction from Mourinho, feel like some don't get it sometimes though.
So where do you stand?
Is he truly an elite player or is his defending below par and he should be replaced either by Felipe Luis (by shuffling of Azpilicueta) or do Chelsea need a new RB?
I give you the floor.

Ivanovic is great but he gets overrated because of the important goals he scores. Chelsea fans know that despite the goals, he is hopeless at crossing the ball and he makes plenty of mistakes in defense.
However, I would compare him to "irrational confidence" players in basketball. Every team needs someone who isn't afraid to take a shot. That's Ivanovic for Chelsea and I think that's why Mourinho likes him so much. He needs someone who isn't afraid to make a rough tackle, make a run out of position, or yell at the referee for being a cunt.
